EMIEW is an adult education project carried out in partnership with universities, institutions, and associations from Turkey, Germany, Portugal, and Slovakia. EMIEW is an initiative to meet the work and social insurance needs of less educated or non-employed women of low status and prestige. Therefore, the main target group chosen for our project is either unemployed women or working women workers. EMIEW is designed to improve the opportunities of disadvantaged women.Five intellectual outputs were presented within the scope of EMIEW. The first one is a need analysis shaped by the partners at the beginning of the project and applied to 218 people in four partner countries to develop the output of the training modules. The needs analysis was designed to ensure that the training modules are of high quality, and 22 training modules were prepared in 5 main categories from the need analysis results. The booklet of training modules was written in English, Turkish, German, Portuguese, Slovak (860 pp.) to increase women's skills in starting a business, finding a job, holding a job, personality development, and socialization. The online learning platform, which is another output supporting the training modules, was created under five main headings: Information and Communication Technologies (3 Modules), Career Development (5 M), Social Skills Development (6 M), Entrepreneurial Skills (3 M), and Professional Skills (5 M). Supporting the modules under each main heading, video footage, PowerPoint presentations, pdf texts, forum page, tasks, tests were created. If 70% success was achieved in the process, participants were given the opportunity to receive online certificates. Participants were allowed to receive 5 different certificates in 5 main categories in 5 languages. With the idea of supporting the online learning platform, the entire project website was designed in five languages to reach more disadvantaged women and to increase the dissemination of the project.Another important output created to increase the impact and dissemination of training modules is “Adult Education Courses.” The training was held in 4 partner countries with 59 participants. The training curriculum was completely prepared based on the training needs of the participants and 3 teaching methods (interactive presentations, brainstorming and video training) were used. At the end of the training, all participants were given a certificate and a 72-page booklet (En-Tr) was created with the data obtained.Test and Analysis report was produced as another output to evaluate the online training platform, the training modules it contains and other outputs. By using a questionnaire, participants (756 participants) were asked about orientation to work, evaluation of modules, evaluation of online learning platform and other outputs. The analysis results of these questionnaires, which were asked under 3 different titles, were reported in detail, and a Test and Analysis Report (71 pp. in En-Tr)booklet was prepared. The final intellectual output handbook provides an introduction to employment types and social security issues in the four partner countries. The technical handbook supporting the working life, rights and responsibilities of employees and the benefits of the social insurance system was written as 125 pages in English and Turkish (in 5 languages on the website).Various communication platforms such as Slack, Skype, mail group, Twitter, Google drive were used in the project process for effective communication and cooperation. Again, during the project process, efforts were made to increase the project's quality by conducting project internal evaluation analyses every three months. Five transnational meetings (initial and final meeting in Turkey; once in Germany, Portugal, and Slovakia) were planned to talk about measures to improve international issues of working women, the inconvenient conditions, and to shape the course of the project. Slovakia meeting and final meeting were held online due to the COVID-19. Multiplier effect meetings were held with broad participation to promote and develop the project in Turkey, Slovakia and Portugal. A copyright-free international book related to the project was written, and the project was promoted in local, national, and international media. As a result of the project implementation, women learned about the benefits of their rights and appropriate employment conditions. Awareness has been raised to ensure that unemployed women or women with low-quality job skills gain skills in some jobs such as house cleaning and childcare. Also, that awareness helped women to prevent from working without insurance. Women learned to start their own business, be the employer of their own business, and insured women employment was encouraged. You can access information such as general promotional videos, brochures, detailed information about partners, social networks and links on our website named https://emiew.duzce.edu.tr/.
