Between February 2015 and July 2016, eleven organisations based on three different continents - Europe, Asia, Latin America - joined together within “Social Inclusion Out of the Box” Capacity Building project so as to tackle the issue of social inclusion through creativity.The main focus of this unique partnership was to: -exchange innovative educational practices of social inclusion in the field of youth,-develop new competences related to social inclusion through creativity in order to contribute to greater youth active partici¬pation in social, cultural and political dimensions of their lives,-promote peer learning and youth cooperation based on creativity and intercultural learning,-create innovative tools related to social inclusion based on exchange of experiences and best practices, development of new competences and peer learning.Then 11 organisations (from Spain, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Check Republic, UK, Nepal, Vietnam, China, Ecuador and Peru) combined their competences, shared, learnt, integrated project work with a target group in each country and went together through an amazing and challenging learning experience.The project was based on working in distance and during face to face transnational meetings, having the main activities as following:-Creation of local working groups in each of the 11 countries-Working on social inclusion tools and practices-Kick off meeting and Tools sharing Seminar – Barcelona ‐Dissemination activities (workshops on new practices, good practice testing, social media)- Development of new tools on social inclusion- Working meeting on tools development and Intermediate Evaluation - Lima- Dissemination activities continuation (local events, media campaign)- Conference on Inclusion Tools and Evaluation/Follow up meeting – Hanoi The specific tools developed along the project:-Toolkit: it collects non-formal education methods coming from different realities and chosen from among good practices of the project partners. All activities address the topic of social inclusion from a number of different perspectives, looking out of the box. -Videos: four videos were created in order to visualize the phenomenon of social exclusion. By putting together eye-catching and mind-boggling videos, we wish to stimulate the reflection on the different forms of exclusion present in our environments. #SurfingLife_Exclusion for economic reasons and poverty#EmbraceUs_Exclusion due to administrative causes.#GenderBlender_Exclusion based on prejudice (sexual and gender diversity)#AttitudeMatters_Exclusion caused by intolerance and prejudice Virtual game “Inclusion Bridges”: the main aim of the creation process of the game was to learn about social exclusion and to think about the possible creative inclusion actions that can be implemented across the different realities. The game is now available virtually and can be used both with individuals as well as groups engaged in the joint learning process. Through the exchange of good practices and the testing, the tools development, local actions and transnational meetings, the project was built up step by step, involving everybody as much as possible and this way all the results created became a great testimony of a unique cooperation and of a powerful learning journey.
