"ContextIn european societies as in the educational world, plurilingualism and interculturality are part of the everyday life of Europeans. These two types of situations can cause problems but are at the same time a source of wealth that must be managed and, even more importantly, valued.Aims and ObjectivesThe Inter + project was designed for pre-service and in-service teachers of all levels and specialties, as well as other educational employees. It proposed to learn and understand the cultural codes of learners and educational partners, to understand without fear the practice of foreign languages ​​and other cultures, to allow the trainees to deal with a diversity of situations of plurilingualism and to value all the linguistic and cultural skills of learners and staff. These objectives were to enable the development of ""heritage languages"" and to promote the inclusion of students, helping them to build their identity and preventing school failure.Number and profile of participating organizations12 partners located in 6 different countries (Austria, Spain, France, Greece, Portugal, Romania).The partners of the project are public institutions active in the field of initial and lifelong training and learning and confronted to problems of plurilingualism and interculturality. The participating institutions are active at different scales of the training systems: schools, vocational training centers, education authorities, training schools for teachers, universities, research centers recognized in the fields of interculturality and plurilingualism.Description of the main activities implementedA training course was to be set up within the framework of the project:- preparatory training seminars organized by various partners bringing together specialists,- short-term mobilities,- long-term mobilities,- the creation of on-line training modules on a platform.This training course was originally planned for two cohorts over two years.Due to the difficulty of management and implementation of the project, only 3 preparatory training seminars for a single cohort were organized in France at the College ointernational in Noisy-le-Grand, Portugal (Almada) and In Austria (Graz).Results and impactsThe Noisy-le-Grand seminar was attended by 99 trainees from all the académie de Créteil. Almada Seminar (June-July 2015) was attended by about 100 participants and the Seminar in Graz (Austria) was attended by 35 participants. Altogether, almost 230 staff (teachers in initial or in-service training, supervisory staff, trainers) from the three institutions were trained during the seminars.Other actions have not been implemented due to the major difficulties the management has encountered , It is difficult to assess the actual impact of training actions on field practices."
