"<< Background >>Challenges addressed by the project:- the lack of practical, compatible with the core curricula tools for teaching professions in the spirit of sustainable development in schools- low knowledge of the issues of sustainable development and the goals of the 2030 Agenda among VET staff- the need to implement measures to achieve the goals of sustainable development- adapting the language of the content of the 2030 Agenda to the level of students and vocational education- inclusion of vocational education in the current climate debate in Europe- sensitizing the representatives of various industries and professions to sustainable activities in the professional life- the need for transnational action for the conscious management of the planet's resources<< Objectives >>The aim of the project is a PRACTICAL AND AFFORDABLE INTRODUCTION OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT PROBLEMS TO THE EDUCATION OF VOCATIONAL SCHOOL STUDENTS IN POLAND, GERMANY AND DENMARK by developing a handbook with 48 lesson plans by experts from 3 countries, including materials for use in formal and non-formal education.We want:- fill the gaps in the curriculum of vocational education with competences for sustainable development through the development of a good, practical and universal educational tool- reach the ""peripheral areas of education"" with sustainable development- strengthen the cross-border flow of good practice for sustainable development<< Implementation >>- research and analysis of 3 industries important in vocational education in terms of actions that should be taken in these industries to develop the ability of employees and apprentices to work in accordance with the principles of sustainable development- development of a handbook for the development of competences for sustainable development in vocational schools with 36 lesson plans for students and 12 for VET staff- translation of the textbook into 4 languages- holding 3 international meetings of the project team- 1 international training- training of trainers and teachers in introducing the topic of sustainable development in vocational education- possibly wide dissemination of the developed materials, through 3 seminars<< Results >>- a handbook for the development of competences for sustainable development in vocational schools with 48 outline, in 4 languages- analysis of 3 professional sectors on the activities necessary for the development of employee competences performed in accordance with the principles of sustainable development- the presence of dialogue, action and innovation on sustainable development in vocational schools- inclusion of 4 vocational schools in the mainstream of international cooperation and environmental education- increasing the potential of 3 partner organizations in terms of international competences and teaching about sustainable development"
