The project aims to empower young women with transversal competences which favour their personal and professional growth, enhancing their possibility to contribute to the development of the society. To favour this process, partners have identified a path to create and test an educational programme based on NFE methodology that foresees 3 main phases. The project has 6 main activities as described separately below:1) Kick-off Meeting / APV: A meeting to formally start the project. It is an opportunity for all project team members to meet and get to know each other well. 2)Training of youth workers : This activity is a capacity building for youth workers on entrepreneurship skills and gender issues to stimulate their creativity and critical thinking and prototyping the content of the educational app.3) Local initiatives :During this phase, the participants will concretely transform what they learn into practices by using competences acquired. Participants, singularly or in team, have to propose an initiative to disseminate/multiply the content of the TC in 2 different ways: 1) realizing an activity of education based on the educational programme on the prototype of the app with girls and young women of their community; 2) start a new action for his/her personal development in one of the three areas: private, professional or civic. 4) Evaluation meeting : The main aim of the meeting is to conduct an evaluation made of two main steps:In the first part will be done an internal evaluation of the local initiatives implemented. The second part will be dedicated to use all the feedback to finalize the educational programme and prepare all the input to terminate the online app.5) Final event ( conference ): The event will be a conference which will involve different stakeholders such as representatives of the formal education system (universities, schools), local authorities, representatives of third sector organizations, representatives of enterprises. The final conference will be an occasion to reflect on entrepreneurial skills for young women and girls with a focus on the situation of young women.6) Online APP developmentThis is an extended activity throughout the entire project timeline. It aims to produce the intellectual output of the project which is an educationnal app in youth work context.

The project aims to explore the virtual space as a space for learning within the youth work context. The idea here is to optimize the experience lived by young people online during a learning process that includes diverse and multicultural groups. The project assumes that virtual learning is a resourceful concept that needs to be activated fully in the next few years. Learning in an online course is not much different than learning during a virtual youth exchange. It requires active participation, self-expression and openness to learn from others. For that the project will analyze both settings (virtual exchanges and e-learning) and collect data on learning trajectories from young people to conduct a full research based on theory of E-learning and youth work practice. Another common dominator between both settings is the use of ICT (Information and communication technology) tools. When providing young people with an opportunity to participate in a virtual youth exchange, youth workers activate young people’s knowledge about ICT tools. That opens access to young people to become more ICT oriented and empower them to use it in other learning settings. The project has 7 main activities as described separately below:1) Kick-off Meeting / APV: A meeting to formally start the project. It is an opportunity for all project team members to meet and get to know each other well. 2) Meta youth exchange: The approach is to consult young people and stimulate their creativity and critical thinking on the topic of E-learning and virtual exchanges. Participants will reflect on the process of learning within a multicultural group.3) Virtual Youth Exchange (VYE) The exchange will take a non formal educational approach through exchanging perspectives, debating controversies and challenging realities about global youth empowerment, global education and its role in peace building. 4) Preparation Meeting / Mid Project Evaluation: First Content development for the coming staff training. Trainers and project team will meet to finalize the content of the training as the previous 2 events along with the research draft outputs will fine tune the training content.5) Staff Training course: This activity is a capacity building for youth workers on ICT tools and the needs of young people regarding E learning experiences (including Virtual exchanges). The training will present the potential of using virtual space for learning in youth work. 6) Evaluation / Dissemination Event: Project team will have time to reflect and evaluate the outcomes of the project, the partnership and the sustainability of results. 7) ResearchThis is an extended activity throughout the entire project timeline. It aims to produce the intellectual output of the project which is a publication on facilitating a virtual learning experience in youth work context.

"The project will strengthen cooperation on peace and security among youth activists in participating countries by providing a platform for constructive dialogue and exchange of ideas and opinions. The priority of the project is to give young people skills and space to express their vision of peace and security in their communities, their views on current affairs as well as their suggestions for resolving community issues.""YOUth lead Peace"" aims then to create a community of young people preventing violent extremism and promoting Human Rights in their local communities. For this purpose, our main references and resources in this journey will be Human Rights Education and Dr. King’s fundamental philosophy of Nonviolence. The main tools we will use to achieve our goal are Non Formal Education and Peer Education.Through this project we expect to reach the following objectives:1. Elaborate and disseminate new approach based on non-formal education methodology, peacebuilding and security, human right approach as well as the Kingian non-violence approach.2. Train 24 youth workers and provide them with knowledge and skills on peacebuilding and non-violence youth work that they will be able to disseminate through local activities in their respective countries.3.Organize workshops and events for the communities on local levels to reach more young people and raise awareness on topics of peace and non-violence. Moreover, giving them the tools to promote HR and prevent violent extremism.4.Provide online and offline spaces for dialogue on issues of security and peace on both community and international level through digital communication, mobility and online activities. 5.Putting the bases for the Youth Rights Defenders Committee in all participating organizations to continue follow-up activities in the field of youth and peace."
