"Cultural heritage and national identity is important because it helps people connect with others who have similar backgrounds and provide a sense of unity and belonging. It provides people with a link to traditions that might otherwise be lost. The sensitivity, responsibility and awareness of members of a society towards this values are so significant for handing them down to future generations. Traditional and cultural values and identity are sometimes ignored by today's generation and the young face cultural degeneration. The aim of the project is to help young people be more aware of the cultural prosperity and their own identity and characteristics, transferring them to the following generations, since those who have no awareness or value of their own heritage can hardly have bright future. The project will be focused on cultural values like historical buildings; such as traditional historical houses, markets or other traditional buildings and on what shows the identity of a society, of a nationality . It will look at the lifestyles and traditional ceremonies. We want by learning about the others to get know ourselves better. In conclusion, national, cultural and cross-cultural awareness will be aroused among the young and they will have the opportunity of having a better understanding of each other's culture and identity and will find out who they have been and thus they will discover the traces of EU identity. The project objectives:• encourage cultural diversity, intercultural and religious dialogue between participants.• Strengthen skills and attitudes that will help participants to grow as personalities;• Develop young peoples’ emotional intelligence and effective communicative, collaborative and creative skills;• Discover different cultural identities and to what extent these different identities live together in Europe or in their own countries;• Introduce a sense of European dimension of education, introducing the idea of an international collaborative work and the amelioration of a European dimension on linguistic and cultural contents in the curriculum;• Increase the motivation of direct and indirect beneficiaries of lifelong learning to develop ICT skills as a way to communicate and to use them as a purposeful everyday tool, to learn a new language and as a means of communication and mastering English for project work;• Encourage the cooperation within the partner organisations from Europe and the exchange of good practices. Our project objectives link to the horizontal aims of strategic partnerships objectives is to raise awareness of the importance of Europe's cultural heritage through informal and non-formal learning social inclusion and youth engagement. We aim to encourage cultural diversity and religious dialogue through photography, respecting freedom, tolerance and human rights. We aim to reinforce the development of key competences for life long learning .We promote creativity and innovative learning approaches and invironments, cooperstion with stakeholders in local communities and abroad. The idea of this project was initiated by a previously implemented YE in Guadeloupe - France titled ""Identity picture"", where the Bulgarian partner took place. It is important this project be carried out at the international level, as we think it will be very interesting to define similarities and differences throughout European countries in our way of livings, stories, culture, food. Working together in international teams will create an atmosphere of trust, help to avoid prejudices and strengthen bonds between organisations from 3 European countries. Our plan is to implement totally 3 TPMs and 3 LТТs in the 3 partner countries where main activity will be to prepare and organize an exhibition showing the culture and identity of the countries seen by the eyes of the participants. The pictures from exhibitions will be organised in a Photo book containing photos and short descrtiptions for each photo translated and published in English and the 3 languages of partners - Bulgarian, Macedonian and Turkish. The partner countries have many differences and similarities in their cultures, traditions and educational systems, religion. Participant will be from 3 Program countries - Bulgaria, Turkey, Republic of North Macedonia. - one member state of EU and 2 non EU Programme countries. All info about project will be uploaded on a project website. At the end of project period an e-version of the Photo book will be created and distributed on partners websites, and the website of project. CONTEXTOur partnership of five completely different and far away countries has been created out of the desire of all the schools involved to contribute more significantly to the personal and professional development of their students, improving their critical and creative thinking, promoting an entrepreneurial mindset that will serve them and their communities in the future years. In a century in which creativity, innovation, critical thinking and digital competences are the key to success, we consider it our mission to guide and support students in acquiring them.3 of the schools have vocational profiles –MK, CZ and PL, while the other 2 have a general education profile. This will make the Erasmus+ experience even more meaningful, by providing us with different approaches to entrepreneurship. We will gain an insight into local economies and needs and our students will collaborate in order to meet those needs. Although we are part of the EU, we come from diverse places where we will encounter different social and economic contexts, different needs and interests. This makes this opportunity even more rewarding and appealing.PARTICIPANTSThrough this initiative, we address a target group of 500 students aged 15-18, including both boys and girls, 30% of whom come from challenged backgrounds, low-income families or dismembered families.100 students aged 15-18 will be directly involved in the exchanges, as participants, and as host students. There will be 5 students and 2 accompanying teachers from each country who will attend each exchange, which means 20 students and 8 teachers per school and overall 100 students and 40 teachers will have been attended to exchange meetings. "As citizens of a multicultural Europe, our purpose is help protect any minority, by being understanding and respectful of others, because this is the key for social cohesion and a healthy democracy. Nowadays we observe an increasing of immigration cases , and countries like Turkey, Romania and Macedonia are making efforts to adapt to this phenomenon, by applying different programs or taking specific initiatives . PT and LT are some other countries being also in the frame of the issue as members of the European Union. We chose this topic as a priority for our schools and for our project, because we realized how important it is to our students to become aware of the stereotypes and discrimination, increasing the chances to change and for people to live in harmony together. Objectives We want to reach the following objectives: to combat hate speech and hate behavior inside schools; - to increase social awareness, tolerance, empathy for the immigrants and the refugees - to reduce stereotypes and raise awareness about the risks they may cause - to improve the knowledge related to tackling the issues of stereotyping and discrimination (bullying) inside each school - to promote the active involvement of the students in the social life on the topic of stereotyping and discrimination - to develop a strong relationship between schools and local NGOs who are addressing the same topics We intend to obtain a big impact on the participants such as : - a better awareness of the phenomenon of stereotyping and discrimination, bullying at local and European levels - an increased involvement of the students in the community life - increased spirit of tolerance between students, more respect for each other - eliminated the prejudice from their way of thinking - improved cultural and intercultural awareness - more autonomous individuals - improved communication skills, language level, social skills - improved their analytical and problem-solving abilities - increased their self-confidence Participants The project addresses a target group of 360 students of different specialisations in our school, boys and girls, 13-18 years old.
