The consortium would like to organize “It’s time! - Chapter 2” project for young people from Program and Partner Countries - Regions 8 and 14 who will, as multipliers gain specific education tools for a gender-sensitive approach to human rights education. At the same time project increase and fosters cooperation of youth workers and organizations from Europe and Latin America.Aim: To motivate youth workers and young people Program Countries and Partner Countries (Latin America) to take more active role in promotion of gender equalitySpecific objectives:• To provide 21 youth workers from Serbia, Italy, Czech Republic, Macedonia, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay with the knowledge, skills and competences in field of gender equality field and gender-based violence• To develop creative forms of youth work for raising awareness about gender inequalities and gender based violence • To equip 280 young people from 7 participating countries with different set of skills and tools to mobilize against gender inequality and gender-based violence • To educate 21 youth workers and volunteers to plan and organize awareness raising campaign• To launch and test new methods through It’s time awareness campaign• To improve and strengthening international youth cooperation among Europe and Latin America Planned activities:1. Multiplier and dissemination events<< Results >>The project will deliver guidelines for youth workers and educators on media literacy and combat against oppressive narratives using creativity to produce artistic and creative narratives.Guidelines will introduce narratives, media literacy and problem of oppressive media content. It will deliver creative tools aimed at young people in the form of video tutorials.The tutorials bring closer information on media literacy, how to recognize fake news and how to do fact checking to young people.

Through the set of diverse proposed activities, the project will tackle the problem of security and safety of young people. On one hand, the activities will have an educational feature aimed at raising the awareness about safety issues in Europe empowering youth workers from the participating countries with new competences that can be included in their work that includes introduction to “The contribution of youth work to preventing marginalization and violent radicalization - A practical toolbox for youth workers & Recommendations for policy makers”. Another element of the youth workers’ empowerment will be the transfer of the methodology to use art as the channel for education as it easily reaches young people and motivates them to take the active role. On the other, young people will be given an opportunity to directly respond to safety issues and provide opinion on different safety segments – some of the most common: peer violence, cyber bullying, radicalization and extremism as well as abuse of psychoactive substances and alcohol. Young people from 6 countries will provide input for a set of recommendations (document to be produced within this project) to the relevant entities (different Working groups, youth offices, local – self governments and similar) at the local level; the document will also be published and distributed at the European level. Overall participation of youth in the development and implementation of local youth security policy will be strengthenedGeneral objective:To contribute to the development of a security culture of young people and strengthening the cooperation between institutions and civil society in addressing youth security and safety issues in 6 participating countriesSpecific objectives: • To equip 24 youth workers with set of new educational tools in the field of youth safety – theoretical knowledge, example of good practices and creative methods in the work with youth • To activate young people to take active role in the promotion of safe behavior and safety culture • To provide set of recommendations on security and safety issues, created by young people for young people• To raise the awareness about security and safety issues in local communities in participating countries Activities:CBY 1. In order to treat the problem of hate speech both online and offline, new skills and competences for youth workers are needed. Project “Power to Change” emphasizes exactly that – the power that youth workers, organization and specifically young people have to make a change on a global and local level through unified and joint action. Hate Fighters Network would like to implement the project in cooperation with Udruga Impress Daruvar from Croatia, IDA Network from Bulgaria, Organisation for Strategic Development in Africa (OSDA) from Ghana, Beyond Borders from Italy, SPPMD from FYR of Macedonia, Círculo Raíces Sardas from Argentina and Hellenic Youth Participation (HYP) from Greece . Hate Fighters Network would like to increase the skills and knowledge of the youth workers of consortium organizations at two levels: the use of different creative methods in youth work and the use of counter and alternative narratives as a tool to combat hate speech in the work with young people. Aim: To increase the number of peace-building and combat against hate speech activities in Europe, Latin America and Africa and develop a pool of youth workers competent in this field Specific objectives• To build the capacities of 25 youth workers to use creative methods of dance, music, photography and mobile reporting in work with young people • To involve 320 young people in the peace building activities through testing of newly acquired skills for the use of creative methods in youth work • To develop competences of 25 youth workers to use counter and alternative narratives to combat hate speech and to strengthen the response to hate speech through human rights education by making use of counter and alternative narratives • To train 160 young people on the taking action against hate speech through counter and alternative narratives and increase the number of the local trainers in participating countries motivating them to become active in the combat against hate speech • To network over 200 youth workers from Europe, Latin America and Africa empowered with new methodologies to work with youth in these 3 continents Activities:1.
