Working as an “incubator” of aesthetic and reflexive initiatives in the context of Adult Education, as well as boost of energy in arts and crafts, at a local level. The participants will, therefore, be artists, craftsmen/women, ONG workers and volunteers, whom will test the Upcycling approach based on a linear sharing of knowledge. The expected outcomes are:IO1Training Guidelines that will have a methodology proposal on Adult Education; adapted to vulnerable people such as the elderly, people with disabilities and migrants, based on the promotion of upcycling workshops;IO2 Educational Videos Toolkit which, made available on an online platform, will contain 18 videos with upcycling techniques presented step by step.IO3 Sustainability plan that will present future scenarios of social entrepreneurship as a way to continue the project. In addition, the project also provides transnational meetings, a transnational training in an artistic residency format that will bring together 27 participants. Multiplier events will also be organized in artistic residency formats, one per country.During the project, the direct beneficiaries will be 212 people, of which 137 artists / craftmen / educators / technicians and 69 learners. In producing innovative adult education resources, it is expected that two years after the end of the project, a group of 150 organizations will have used them. On the other hand, they will also be used by a diverse target group, from technicians and / or artists who use the materials to streamline their own sessions to adults with fewer opportunities (elderly, minorities, people with disabilities) who use the videos in a do-it-yourself logic.

This will be followed by the youth activities where the knowledge and competences acquired during the training will be shared with the young people during the workshops that will be held in cooperation with our Local Partners to give an institutional frame and recognition for our project in addition to a long lasting effect. After this phase, we’ll organise the Youth Exchange that will provide a space of sharing realities and challenges in the different communities represented by youth coming from marginalized regions in order to reflect together in finding solutions and ways to break stereotypes and prejudices using intercultural tools to increase the mutual understanding between the different cultures, background and religions. During the last phase of the youth exchange, we’ll start the production of the video for the Online campaign that aims to advocate the women rights for equality and empowerment in different sectors and fields (Society, Education, Family, Public sector and Political involvement..) and that will be largely shared among participants, partner organisations, their local partners and institutions, ect.For the entire duration of the project we expect to use methodologies based on non-formal education methods stimulating active participation, self-reflection, creativity, ‘learning by doing’ process.. The idea is to increase the level of quality in pedagogical methods and have a broader number of methodologies to be used, especially with young people with special needs. The main objective of the project is to increase European heritage education among young people, especially youngsters with fewer opportunities (refugees and migrants, people with disabilities, people with social and economic obstacles, etc.), through the development, testing and implementation of educational innovative tools based on the use of gamification. These innovative methods, created through transnational and intersectoral European cooperation, will integrate competences and knowledge about our European cultural heritage, focusing on promoting a tool that promotes heritage education, motivates young people to know our European heritage and generates new tools for youth workers, trainers and professionals who work on this topic. The result that the project will achieve will be the creation of ""Gymkhana 5.0: Educational game"". The objective of this educational game developed through an accesible mobile application (APP) is to generate a specific methodological tool through gamification that facilitates knowledge about European heritage and cultural education in the field of youth, in order to promote their learning and facilitate their access to young people, especially young people with fewer opportunities, guaranteeing their accessibility. Each one of the partners in this consortium has experience working with people with fewer opportunities. The Castilla y León Youth Council carries out a multitude of activities aimed at young people with fewer opportunities to encourage their participation in society and to increase their skills through non-formal education. Aspaym Castilla y León Foundation has extensive experience working with people with physical disability, carrying out workshops with different methodologies to promote inclusion and to improve the sensory abilities and well-being of these young people. Ceipes works with young refugees and migrants promoting interculturality and their participation in society. Dione Youth Organitation has extensive experience fostering the cultural heritage of Cypriot youth, promoting European awareness and belonging. Rosto Solidario has extensive knowledge working with people with geographic and economic obstacles, as well as with people with special needs concerning learning. Therefore, the strategic partnership that this consortium intends with this intellectual output to generate an educational game that allows youth workers and youth service providers to generate the ideal simulated contexts in order to promote, through their own game, heritage and cultural learning of the selected cities where we will initially implement the project (Salamanca, Valladolid, Santa Maria da Feira, Palermo and Nicosia). To achieve this, the game will be implemented in each one of the cities in a personalized way, establishing an itinerary tour (Gymkhana) consisting of challenges, games and explanatory videos that will motivate the youth to complete this tour and to enhance their knowledge about our cultural heritage. In addition, all information regarding accessibility will be provided, both the cultural heritage on which we intend to act and the routes taken to reach this heritage, thus facilitating the active participation of young people with physical disabilities or reduced mobility. After the completion of the project, all the organizations that make up this strategic partnership will be able to enjoy the innovative methodology with their target group, acquiring with it a great experience in training in European and cultural heritage education. These results will also continue to be available after the completion of the project, as described in the field aimed at sustainability. The duration of the project will be 24 months, from 20/12/2019 to 19/12/2021."

The need for the ethical training of employees has already formally been acknowledged by the European Commission claiming to integrate CSR in the skills and competences of managers and employees. These are regarded as key elements in terms of individual responsibility development for a lifelong employability and its sustainability, thus the intensification of ethical skills education is a challenge both for the business and the educational sectors. In our globalized world changing our lifestyles and consumption patterns here means also having an impact on the southern hemisphere. For this reason raising awareness is becoming a necessity as well as a part of the mission of the ngos involved in international cooperation. Guiding principles of cooperation projects are not ever growth and development but mutual learning, solidarity and environmental sustainability. Therefore, education on human rights, respect for the environment and social diversity is required for adult audiences as well. All stakeholders of the project are represented in the partnership that is composed by 5 training providers, that include also 3 universities, two chambers of commerce (representing companies) and 2 ngos. The objective of the project was to enhance the quality and relevance of the learning offer in training, via developing new and innovative approaches, supporting the transfer of good practices and fostering the assessment of key-competences, including transversal skills like ethical ones, in order to enhance the role of ethical competences, to raise the awareness of companies on the issues of human rights, respect for the environment, the consumption of land and resources, i.e. values that are part of the ethical skills area of EQF for managers. To achieve this objective the project has worked with all stakeholders, represented in the partnership (training providers and universities, ngos and companies) and built up an innovative and attractive training catalogue. The catalogue has been planned upon the results of an international research coordinated by Stockholm UNiversity aimed at identifying 8 areas of interest to enhance the CSR culture in companies. Ngos and companies has been interviewed during the research. After the research results the partnership has designed the training format the has been characterized by a non formal part and informal part. So every training path is composed by a non formal session, an informal session and the assessment session. On the base of this structure a training catalogue has been drawn. It includes a slot of opportunities of non formal training courses based on the 8 identified areas. The non formal training can have several duration, depending on companies and students needs and availability. The training catalogue previews also informal sessions to be developed directly in the field. There are 64 different informal training sessions. The informal training can be developed in Europe and in contexts outside Europe. A lot of informal training sessions can be developed in contexts in which projects of cooperation for development are realized. The catalogue includes informal training sessions in 16 countries around the world. The training offer includes also a framework to evaluate the learning results gained during the courses. This framework previews also the aknowledgement of ECTS credits depending on the amount of hours attended and the learning results gained. The trainings included in the catalogue can be financed in several ways. For this purpose the partnership has developed a sustainability report that esplains the cost for each training path, both for the non formal and the informal sessions. The project has salso faced a good number of dissemination activities. In each partner country at least one multiplier event has been realized. Moreover the universities partners has made a good dissemination about the catalogue among other universities with seat in their country. The chambre of commerce has disseminated a lot with their associated companies. The training providers has disseminated among pupils and companies. Ngos has made a good dissemination activity addressed to companies and other ngos. It’s very interesting that ngos’ main dissemination target have been companies. It confirms the great interest of the non profit sector to cooperate with business sector. The project is having good impacts in the organizations: ODISEE and VOKA has already realized the second edition of the Summer school for sustainable business (page 18 of the catalogue), Oikos Onlus has realized the first edition of the refugees simulation (see page 21 in the catalogue). Innospectrum has received the first request by a very big company that want to partecipate in the training offered by the catalogue
