The public sphere in Europe is facing alarming signals of intolerance growing. The three partner organisations in Richness in Diversity already have ongoing work to empower young immigrants with diverse backgrounds, and this project aims at developing their skills in diversity management by sharing best practices as well as including the experiences and work of 12 young participants with immigrant background. Their participation will add an extra dimension to the capacity building of the partner organisations as well as creating an arena for the participants to express their view of today’s Europe and to get tools and experience to take ownership over and addressing the obstacles they face in European society. The project Richness in Diversity will include three transnational meetings and an ongoing online dialogue between the partner organisations to share their best practices on diversity management, and to develop a small E-Booklet to disseminate to other organisations in the field. The project also includes three mobility programs including teaching/learning/training activities for 12 young participants with diverse backgrounds. The participants will benefit from exchanging ideas with young people in similar situations. Comparing the Danish, Swedish and Portuguese contexts will make space for more creative and critical thinking in regards to the designs of the campaign projects that all youth participants will carry out, so that those youth can become drivers of change for better and creative integration. The activities will include interactive participatory approach using non-formal education tools. The project is based on a critical reflection of the topics Diversity and Integration. The methodology which will be applied is participatory based on the idea that all groups need a platform to air their views and the issues they are facing as a group to be able to feel as a part of society and of democracy. In order to foster democracy, all groups in society need to both feel involved and that they have a level of ownership over their society. The impact on the partner organizations will be a deeper understanding of their target group(s), higher capacity in reaching and communicating with their target groups(s), and access to more knowledge and experiences through the E-booklet. The participants will get tools manage a project, will be able to critically analyse their situation as well as managing solutions and spreading their image of being a young immigrant in Europe. To connect youth across national boundaries through seminars and project work also creates a sense of ownership and recognition of similar backgrounds and the issues they are facing, as well as the opportunity to discuss solutions with others in a similar situation. Above this, the participants also get to spread their stories and solutions to other youths with immigrant background, whom can recognize themselves in the stories that are told.

Drawing from the idea that environmental and social challenges can be transformed into opportunities for youth employment, our ""Empowering Eco-entrepreneurship Start-ups"", or Eco-Hub, project aims to empower the environmental and social performance among young people. The project promotes education on entrepreneurship, innovative thinking, and social responsibility with an objective to trigger inclusion and increased employment opportunities of youth. In that way, it contributes to ecological and economic growth by raising awareness and intellectual capacity of budding entrepreneurs who are inclined towards having a business idea, or already have one.Three partners: Crossing Borders (civil society organisation in Denmark), SwIdeas (medium sized enterprise in Sweden) and Kalevan Lukio (highschool in Finland) have been working in close collaboration in order to meet the above mentioned objectives. Each partner established a knowledge-resource hub in their respective locations, with the main hub in Crossing Borders, where most project activities took place. In these hubs, 7 workshops and multiplier events were offered to young people, who receive educational workshops on environment and eco-eco-enterpreneurship innovation, as well as mentoring sessions. These sessions provided rich opportunities to learn about the necessary and logical steps aspiring entrepreneurs need to take on their way to building a successful enterprise, as well as a platform for practical exercises, where they can put their knowledge in use.The project activities included four multiplier events, one in each partner country as well as Blended Mobility of Young People which was moved from Finland to Sweden. Followed by the production of first three intellectual outputs which focus on providing guidance in the process of building an enterprise, we disseminated knowledge and information about Eco-Hub as well as spread awareness about the most pressing environmental problems. The purpose was to create a platform for international youth to share their ideas and explore the econ-entrepreneurial field. We organized sessions, during which young aspiring entrepreneurs had an opportunity to participate in practical exercises, such as simulation games. In addition to multiplier events, we organized several workshops in our offices in Humlebæk, where we invited well-established eco-entrepreneurs to share their knowledge and experience in the entrepreneurial field. As a result, we got a group of young people aspired and motivated to engage in eco-entrepreneurship through several international meetings during which participants visited and learnt about green innovative practices in Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. Furthermore, we made a practical use of the produced educational materials during coaching sessions (group and individual). In addition, we managed to create space in which several relationships between aspiring and well-established entrepreneurs were established. As a result of those, a network of eco- and social- entrepreneurs and youth has been growing since, and a wide range of sustainable initiatives have been supported. All in all some 800 youth have directly benefitted from the project. Food institutions were added to the project as associate partners including the Malmø University, Malmø Sustainability Center, Espergæde High School and a green solution company in Tampere. Extra green entrepreneurship theme day was held at Sct. Knuds High School in Odense on 11 April for 150 students, 8 teachers and 17 exchange students from the US with two teachers plus 16 Crossing Borders global studies students at Krogerup Højskole. The 16 students came from Denmark, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, UK and US."

Project Objectives- enhancing the work of youth workers involved in field work- new methods to entice the attention of youth, including working on conflict resolution and building understanding of communities, peoples Partner ConsortiumThe four partners from across Europe brought together a lot of perspectives into the project. With the varied country profiles (Luxembourg, Italy, Denmark, Germany), diversity within countries and local communities were well brought into the project's implementation during the course of the three years.LISEL, Euro-Net, IYDA and Crossing Borders together were able to reach out to multiple target groups across not only the constituent countries, but across Europe. Non-Formal Learning methods played an important part in the implementation of the project, especially as the partners have previous experience of working with one another, eg. Peer Circle Process, Open Space Technology, World Café, Appreciative Inquiry, Storytelling, Proaction Café, and Harvesting.ActivitiesLTTA: One activity was held in Denmark (Joint Staff Training), while a second proposed activity was cancelled in Italy due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Participants in the staff training were able to play the game and the entire six-day training was a real eye-opener for all involved.Multiplier Events: They were held in Germany and Italy, allowing for further dissemination of the project's objectives and results. More participants were able to join in physically in the events that we expected, so this was a really glad moment for the project.TPM: Four TPMs were held that allowed the organisations to coordinate, manage and discuss all items related to the implementation of the project's objectives and achieving its results. Intellectual OutputsIO1: Overcome Crisis Creatively Reference 'OCCR'IO2: Handbook of Peace in Europe through gamingThese were the two Intellectual Outputs that were created and shared during the project's timeline. They can be accessed freely under peacelens.eu, the project's website. We expect the participants and others to further use these two intellectual outputs available on the website to generate newer ideas to overcome crises and other conflict-oriented situations. Through this project, we hope the targeted youth are able to function as mentors and help in transformation processes in their daily work, especially through the experience they have garnered being a part of the project's activities.

Therefore, the project “From Expats to Experts: United Civil Society through Inclusion and Empowerment of Young Immigrants” (FETE) aims at combating harmful prejudices and broadening the debate on positive effects of immigration in EU countries with a particular focus on Malta, Denmark, France and Italy. During the project, a labor market inclusion strategy is developed, which is based on research conducted by all involved partners. This strategy will be implemented in San Gwann (Malta), Humlebaek (Denmark), Nantes (France) and Palermo (Italy). The project targets 60 young first generation immigrants between 18-30 years who are mainly from non EU-countries and currently living in the EU. The main goal is to improve their labor market inclusion by providing them with the opportunity to deepen their skills through the participation in workshops and gain work experience through the implementation of an internship (""Seeds""). During the internship each intern carries out a small-scale project that is beneficial for the intern as well as the local community as a whole. In order to strengthen learning results and improve the inclusion of the young immigrants, a mentoring programme (""Mentors and Mentees in Action"") provides assistance to each participant during the whole learning process. Furthermore, the developed online platform ""Inter(n)changes"" provides useful practical information for interns but also space for exchange regarding their success stories or problems. In addition to young immigrants, the project also aims at strengthening capacity building of NGOs, social enterprises and public institutions in order to create space for dialogue about positive impacts of immigration in European societies. All project partners use their network with other NGOs, social enterprises and public institutions in order to provide each intern with the most suitable internship considering each person’s individual level of experience and field of interest. The inclusion of various stakeholders in the project strengthens the capacity of particularly NGOs as mediators and facilitators for creating dialogue between young immigrants and civil society. However, the impact of the project is not limited to directly involved participants and stakeholders. The development, publication and dissemination of the “Inclusion in Action” strategy as well as the mentoring guidelines (“Youth Empowerment through Mentoring: a Guide for Youth Workers”) and the online platform ""Inter(n)changes"" provide useful information for successful inclusion of young immigrants in EU countries for everybody who is active or interested in that particular field. Moreover, two high school workshops in each participating country ensure that the rationale behind the project is disseminated particularly among young people in Europe. The aim of the workshops is to convey young students with the message of how it feels to be excluded from a community and why inclusion is a vital part of an open, fair and dynamic society."
