"CONTEXTThe widespread use of qualified inclusive education has become an important goal in many EU countries. They have embraced and adapted their support services to improve their quality of inclusive education. As in many European countries, support services are required. Among these support services in inclusive education, resource room (RR) model is also widely used in schools. However, the teachers who are not in the special education area who provide services in this application need support in giving education at all levels according to the potentials of students with special needs (SEN). It is necessary to go through a number of improvements in the nature of both the teachers, the programs to be implemented. OBJECTIVESThe UDL4U project aims to increase the quality of support education services by planning activities such as organizing workshops to determine needs and problems; organizing the mobility to see the applications in place by partner countries in the project; developing a number of standard development activities that can measure the quality of RR model; developing the general education teacher (GET) training program, named GETInvolved, based on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles; organizing an international congress. We anticipate that the vocational qualifications of teachers who provide RR model will be improved through education and training program through the UDL4U project. All teachers providing supportive education services will learn new methods, techniques and approaches to provide education to European standards for children with different and special needs. They will also have the opportunity to learn innovative teaching methods such as creative drama as well as scientific-based applications used in the field of special education. "As the conflict in Syria approaches its 8th year, the Middle East, North Africa and Europe are dealing with the worst humanitarian disaster since the Second World War. The unprecedented refugee crisis is increasingly spilling over to affect apart from the wider region, also Europe. Reality shows that refugee people face a range of barriers to enter urban life in their new countries, especially related to the fact that the municipality is not prepared for dealing with refugee people. This situation has forced municipalities and local authorities to assume key roles in managing the crisis by providing services and integrating refugees into their communities. The refugee crisis has also caused social tensions so ensuring social cohesion by involving both refugees and host communities in joint activities will contribute to improved relations, coexistence and stability within host municipalities. The project of ""Supporting Public Education Centers' Educators for Refugee Adaptation"" (PEC4R) addresses inclusive support for training of the municipal Public Edducational Centers' (PEC) educators to provide well-qualified education, so they can cope with refugee adults often lacking the language skills they can fully participate, and are also affected by the traumas of war that are fully disabled and integrated. Municipal PEC educators facing such problems should be more prepared to know how to deal with it. Ensuring the provision of a modular training that addresses the main issues (integration, adaptation, language, war traumas, dealing with stress, right of refugees) should form an important part of the response to the current challenges. This training and supporting will combat at source some of the factors contributing to education failure of these people, while it would aid in combatting the risk of integration problems to urban life. Supporting material provided consists of an illustrated handbook for the PEC educators with accompanying printed/mobile/online supporting tools that will support the advisor throughout the different challenges they face nowadays. Equally, the supporting tools will also work towards engaging PEC educators and refugee people in a manner that is novel, attractive for both the municipality and the refugees (beneficiary). The outcomes can be easily multiplied across all cities that harbor refugee by applying the concept of open resources, commons creative licensing and free mobile and online applications. Our consortium:1- Coordinator: Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Public University, Turkey 2- Phoneix KM, NGO, Beligum3- SoftQNR, software development company, Serbia. 4- Konya Municipality, Turkey5- Izmir Bakırçay University, Public University, Turkey6- Secondary Education Directorate of Karditsa, National Public Body, GreeceThe project's main target groups are:- Municipalities and their PEC educators: Every EU municipality network will be invited to the project portal, while contacts will be made also with local supporting initiatives.- Pedagogical and psychological experts: Material will be readily available to these stakeholders and will be implementable default in 5 languages, while translations can be done freely.- Refugee adults (living in the city): They are to benefit from an approach that allows them to deal with their war traumas, being supported by teaching staff that is aware of the sensitivities and the special requirements needed for these people to integrate into their city environments and the host country.Long-term benefitsThe desired impact of PEC4R is a universal one, due to the global occurrence of the refugee problem. This is reflected in below local, regional, national, European and/or international impact assessments. It is expected that the PEC4R will provide supporting material for all affected PECs as well as other adult edcuation institutions in all partner countries at the end of the project, while transfers to other languages will also support the take-up."

Over the last 2 years as a European Collective, we have actively been working to raise awareness of drugs and alcohol abuse across our partners both locally and nationally. We feel that we have been able to have really honest, opened and moving conversations with both young people and adults who work with young people to inspire change. We are really proud of the work that we have done over the last 24 months as a collective and have created a range of innovative outputs, all of which are a testament to our work and commitment to the project, much of which will be explained through this evaluation document. We understand that substance misuse is still very much an issue for young people across Europe, but we feel proud to have contributed to the growing conversation and awareness work that is happening, in addition to mobilising both young people and adults who work with young people to equip themselves with both the skills, knowledge, and confidence to discuss these topics on a national and international scale. We feel that we have been able to:1. Raises awareness of the reasons why people use substances, the types of substances that are misused, and the factors that can influence the effects of substances.2. Support both young people and adults who work with young people to study the harmful effects of substance misuse on individuals and society, as well as where to get support and advice on substance misuse. 3. Raise awareness of how stereotyping affects users and how media reporting affects people's perceptions of substance misuse in addition to understanding statistics nationally and locally about substance misuse.4. Encourage our team to consider the risk factors and protective factors for substance misuse, ways to protect individuals from the risks of substance misuse, and the barriers to making healthy choices.

The horizontal objective of the partnership called “e-plat-Forming Education” is to develop new ITC services offered to schools and local community of Municipality of Proszowice, Poland and Karditsa, Greece in the field of education. The idea is based on creating an innovative tool of multifolded e-learing platform accessible to different groups in reference to education. The idea of creating and implementing such tool is the answer to the call of modernity, digitalization and computerization of every aspect of life. It also answers the wishes and needs of teachers, parents and students who are the main subjects and the beneficiary groups of this project The project aims at creating this vast and generic tool because never before have we developed such an education – supportive device. Socially, it is important as it brings schools together creating a network of organizations, schools and libraries important for our local societies. It allowed to co-operate and exchange good practices between schools and institutions of culture on local and international levels. It has built up the atmosphere of cooperation and friendliness. Professionally, it has enlarged the database of edu – tools, teaching / learning ideas ( ELT), practical exercises and evaluation methods in unprecedented scale in our regions. It has also offeedr such innovative tools as: e-administration, e-register for schools, e-learning, online teaching with lessons recorded and uploaded on the platform: podcasts, mobile schooling and educational games and applications, useful links, online newspaper for the youth, film club, virtual walks and others. Due to our project we achieved several different goals which refer to different subjects and we want to address teachers, students, education workers, parents and other citizens of our cities. The project has greatly activated people from different groups: administrative staff of our organizations, project workers and other beneficiaries. It upgraded the competences of educational staff and subjects of education introducing new products and methods for practical educational use. Development of e-learning platform has had enormous impact on the quality of education in our respective regions. The target groups have benefited in terms of improving the level of learning / teaching, linguistic skills and entrepreneurial approach. Also the deeper cross – cultural understanding and transnational cooperation has been brought about also in terms of recognizing EU values. It triggered modernization of our teaching techniques and is successfully used after the project conclusion. In the project there were involved about 15 administrative workers of our organizations, about 70 teachers from both regions, about 3000 students directly or indirectly involved in the project activities and about 4000 parents in our respective regions who were also indirectly influenced by the project implementation. We have established very good working relationships between the institutions engaged in the learning activity, as key-decision factors. The e-platform is constantly used as it is placed on the server which is paid by our institution until 2020, also the partnership continues beyond the period of the project implementation as well as all the invented educational tools. Moreover, due to dissemination conferences not only schools but also institutions of culture like libraries and culture units offer the usage of e-platform.
