The potential harmfulness of cyberbullying is threatening, because it can be more anonymous, more pervasive (reaching victims not only in school, but also at home), has a larger potential audience, and is less visible for adults in the victims’ environment. Statistic show that girls face cyberbullying twice often than boys. Young children, women, and people with a non-traditional sexual orientation are the most common targets for online bullies. The project aims is to empower youth and youth workers, teachers, social workers to fight cyberbullying (especially online body shaming) by using visual storytelling. We have analysed anti-bullying programs and couldn't find visual storytelling examples focused for youth, youth workers, parents. Visual storytelling helping to understand easier text and situation. Storytelling and visuals are two of the most powerful tools content marketers have. Partners were chosen based on partner's experience on the topic and focus on region country groups (Baltic, Visegrad, Benelux, Central Europe) that consortium will be widely spread. Partner countries together will create a new innovative approach to the topic which are useful for direct and indirect target groups. Project will ensure that the participants gain information and understanding of the dangers of cyberbullying and will share their competences and skills in order to increase the quality of cyberbullying prevention. The innovative idea of the project is to use the power of strategic partnership between youth organisations, school, non-profit initiatives, social enterprise and non-formal education organisations to tackle one of the emerging problems for youth. The innovativeness of the project lies in the combination of the new challenges that we have identified, innovative methods that we are going to use to address these challenges and the innovative intellectual output that we plan to deliver as the result of the project.
