"The project carried out a research and 2 online training courses that strengthen the link between the tourism sector and recreational boating. Northern Tuscany and Eastern Liguria are productive excellences in the nautical sector worldwide, but with limited tourist development in space (coastal areas) and over time (summer season). The 2 sectors have difficulty in creating synergies, despite the strong potential. With the made products, 4 European areas were confronted with 4 different ways of living and integrating the sea element (UK, Spain, Malta). The initial research (output 1), turn with the data collection, information and direct testimony of experts in the sector, provided indications for the construction of the 2 training products; one, aimed at operators in the nautical and tourist sector and one, aimed at new graduates or individuals without specific experience. The comparison of the tourist, nautical and training offers of the 4 countries is at the base of the structuring of the 2 training courses created. The 5 Italian partners, each for their own areas of expertise, have turned research and provided guidance for the 3 foreign partners on the areas of investigation. The information was sent to Serindform who, coordinating the 3 outputs, systematized and shared them to receive contributions from everyone. The first of the 3 multiplier events, held in Viareggio in October 2017, was not limited to making the research and the project known; thanks to the different moments of discussion foreseen during the event it was possible to unite stakeholders with common objective. The research was at the center of discussions that in the course of 2018 allowed the development of 5 training and transnational projects in the nautical and tourism area, funded by the Tuscany Region: Fourseansos, APOMA, AMCO, Blue Skills and S.O.F.T. In the projects there are several partners and different TNT ideas, together with new subjects who have shared the objectives. The construction of products 2 and 3 saw the initial participation in the choice of topics to be developed. In product 2, addressed to sector operators, two partners played a central role: “Navigo”, the main consortium of companies in the nautical sector in Versilia and also at national level, and “Gente di Mare onlus”, active in the sector. In product 3, addressed to new graduates, the two higher institutes, ""Arzelà"" and ""Pertini"" have made the greatest contribution. The foreign partners, based on the indications received in itinere, have enriched the 2 products with the collection of materials and testimonies of sector operators and providing added value with insights and suggestions useful for the construction of training courses. The products allow to develop skills that integrate recreational boating with the resources of the hinterland, creating synergies able to collect the various added values. Businesses and new employees will be able to effectively use the new technologies to promote the services offered, to structure offers that integrate the present services and to attract boaters and tourists to the territory; this is the first step to lengthen the tourist season by encouraging the encounter with the cultural, natural and food and wine heritage of northern Tuscany and eastern Liguria. The online courses provide indications about market trends and examples of success to be imitated. A long-term goal is to be attractive to the great tourist flows of Tuscany and the Cinque Terre, present throughout the year and geographically close to the project areas. Thanks to the action of the partner ""Pertini"" the courses were included in the UIBI platform (ww.uibi.it) the distance learning network based on Moodle, which shalls collect together all the high schools in the provinces of Massa-Carrara, Lucca and Livorno and to which students, teachers and trainers join; the insertion allowed to directly reach the target of the product 3 and a part of the target of the product 2, giving visibility to the research. Following the last 2 multiplier events, several institutes requested information about the products and said they were interested in their use. Next 10 April, at the Ist. Pertini di Lucca, project partner, will take place an event which will be attended by the students of the senior year, teachers, representatives of other Institutes: in this meeting will be promoted the project and the realized outputs, with the aim of promoting the products as standard training in tourism. There have also been close agreements for the dissemination of products with organizations and associations that carry out training, tourism and boating activities. The products produced are a training tool that is always available and accessible; that has the effect of creating an ever-present strategic training offer, not linked to isolated and sporadic initiatives."

"The project ""Youth Support for a stronger Europe, joining together against gender violence"" is a multilateral strategic partnership between 5 European countries (Spain, Italy, Malta, Romania and Portugal) which goal, in addition to the specific objectives of the project, is to allow the development of networks, the increase of the capacity to work at a transnational level and the sharing and confrontation of ideas, practices and methods. Following the EU 2020 strategy, which has among its main objectives the fight against violence, we want to take an important step to prevent youth violence by involving schools, institutes and educational centers to inform, teach and above all, educate on this issue. The similarities of this phenomenon in these European countries lead us to develop mechanisms of awareness and education that will provide young people with the tools and instruments to develop non-violence physical, psychological, verbal and social relationships. The main objectives of our project are: to raise awareness of the problem in young people, teachers, youth organizations and public institutions; the improvement of young people's relationship skills and personal sense of security; the improvement of the formal, non-formal and informal education system on the subject. Our project will involve 500 young people between 15 and 18 years old and more than 100 professionals and experts on the subject (teachers, educators, psychologists and youth workers). For the main activities of AEF Youth the partners will prepare 7 educational modules on specific topics to recognize and combat youth gender violence that will lead to the elaboration and dissemination of a final joint document of exchange of good practices about the nonformal activities to prevent gender violence. All partners will promote the project in schools, institutes and organizations working with young people to get in touch with educators interested in the project. These educational modules will be implemented, together with a test on youth violence, in class activities with students from the countries involved, evaluating the learning outcome and the level of satisfaction of students and teachers; this will be used for a qualitative and quantitative analysis. This work with the target group will be carried out through a non-formal methodology developed by the partners during the preparation of the exchange of good practices in the Short-term joint staff training event in Italy (C1). To disseminate the results of the project throughout Europe, a database of open materials, brochures, websites and digital magazines will be used, and a number of events will be organized in the countries of each partner. The joint document of good practices can be downloaded for free from the project website. There will also be three transnational meetings and a final conference in Spain promoted by the City Council of Madrid, partner of the project. Our AEF Juventud project will have a real impact on society, creating the necessary values in adolescence to avoid and reduce youth gender violence. Thanks to class work, meetings with interested partners and educators, and the large group of participants and centers that will work for the project, great results will be achieved: getting young people to change their vision and become aware of dangerous situations, improvement in the awareness of educators, parents and society in general on the need to combat youth violence and all its physical and psychological consequences; the development of greater security, tolerance, values, civic sense and new relational skills in young people, thanks to the work in the classroom, and finally ensure that schools integrate this topic within their subjects. In addition, the website will be constantly updated information and the material will be freely accessible and can be download for those who are interested, also after the closure of the project. All this in order to realize the sustainability of the project and ensure that this will produce long-term benefits, even in countries not directly involved and also after its completion. We firmly believe that the AEF Youth project offers broad possibilities to innovate and promote the fight against youth gender violence and to motivate young people to overcome their fears in order to build a world of peace."
