Due to the gap in media literacy development among the different States, the diversity of approach, initiatives and policies, the coordinator(Poland) decided to implement the current project with 4 other actors(Italy,Turkey,Latvia,Portugal) who have good practices and are dedicated to solving the problem.Internet and social media addiction, cyberbullying, fake news problems, adaptation to emerging digital culture, access to reliable information, online personal privacy violations, data security and various forms of digital fraud are among the fields of our project interest.Totally 50 teachers, who worked voluntarily in their schools for the solution of the problem, have a high level of commitment to the project and 125 students aged 13-15 and from all walks of life will join to 5 LTTs.Each LTT will enable us to accomplish the project objectives. The 1st LTTAs will benefit students to take full advantage of the opportunities of social media in a safe and ethical way; learn to choose what platform to post something on and the potential consequences of posting; feel part of the society by sharing personal thoughts on media and that feeling of belonging, which is a key for their social inclusion. The 2nd LTTAs will provide participants with tools to spot ‘fake news’ online, understand how they spread, and obtain access to verified information. This LTTAs will contribute to participants ability to be more discerning consumers of information found online, by thinking about the broad spectrum of disinformation and misinformation. As for the 3rd LTT, it aims to highlight each unique media form has a different way of presenting information.Students will understand how media change depending on how the media presenting; enhance their newspotting skills. Thanks to the 4th LTT, it is purposed to analyze the cases of the European schools regarding cyberbullying issues and to make all schools a cyber safe place and carry ""the cyber safe place"" concept to families as well.As for the last LTT, it will enable students to be judicious and active in content creation; produce info or reproduce disinformation instead of only receiving info passively; hold a sense of responsibility in the production, consumption and sharing of media. Our project also targets at strengthening the profiles of the teaching professions. In all LTTs there will be 5 workshops for teachers about innovative and contemporary teaching methods(Project based learning,Blended learning,ICT, Gamification, CLIL).These workshops will provide teachers with the opportunity of sharing good practices; strengthening intercultural dialogue and the bond between teachers from different European schools. These objectives will be achieved through Issue-inquiry Approach, Problem-based Learning,Case Study,Cooperative Learning,Textual and Contextual Analyses,ICT,CLIL.Under the favor of our LTTAs and methodologies, we target at accomplishing the following outcomes:Increased level of media and information literacy5 workshops about innovative teaching methods7 workshops in LTTs about MIL1 digital book as a final and common product5 digital e-bookletsPosters about positive digital footprint and digital citizenship weekVideos about digital citizenshipA podcast about digital rightsA social media literacy strategy plan (each school will adopt it for its own context)A storyboard about dis/mis/mal-informationLesson plans on Internet and Social Media AddictionBookmarks involving messages about MILOne-shot filmsMIL glossaryMovie postersDigital citizenship and MIL weeksThanks to local activities; eTwinning project; displaying project outputs in diverse media outlets; seminars; eTwinning learning events; our digital book; action plan on MIL;social media literacy strategy plan;Digital citizenship and MIL Weeks to be held every year in partners' schools, we will reach to larger audience and contribute to their being effective and long- lasting media literate European citizens. It is useful to think of MIL as a continuum rather than an outcome; we all will be more media and information literate.Briefly, in the long term, in/direct participants of the Project will have the capacity for access to, production and participation in the new media environment, act as active and critical citizens, take advantage of the opportunities in progress and innovation in the information society."

It affects mental health and the academic performance of children. The coordinating school(Slovenia) felt the necessity of implementing this project based on the needs analysis with the aim of increasing academic achievement, raising the rate of university placement, dropping out of school and achieving social inclusion, which is in accordance with EU 2020 goals and the achievement of schools' own strategic goals, so the coordinator collaborate with other 5 schools(Romania,Italy,Greece,Turkey,Germany),which have attach importance to bullying issues and have good practices about it.The target audience of the project is students, teachers, parents, school administrations, local people, neighboring schools, local authorities. In total 72 teachers who constantly strive for their own professional development and 144 students aged between 14-16 will participate in 6LTTs.Thanks to 1st LTT in Slovenia, it is aimed to enhance the awareness of bullying among the participants and to learn the indicators of bullying via hands on activities such designing t-Shirts, brochures, mottos, etc. It is targeted to gain deeper understanding about the indicators of bullying by visiting an NGO. The 2nd LTT in Greece, cyberbullying cases will be reduced thanks to improved emphatic thoughts and consciousness of the issue. When it comes to the 3rd LTT in Romania, it will improve the sense of empathy, break the barriers and stereotypes, improve the dialogue and team spirit thanks to drama. Local activities both before and after each LTT will enable us to realize LTTAs and their objectives as planned and to integrate the gainings into the school's curriculum and finally to empower the partner schools with looking from whole school approach.By dint of LTTAs and mentioned techniques and methodologies, we aim at obtaining the following in/tangible results:Reduced bullying in partner schools at least by 30% and 40% for the 1st and 2nd years of the project respectivelyTeachers and parents will learn their roles and responsibilities to deal with bullying thanks to seminarsShort films by pupils and familiesA rap song composed by pupils on befriendingPosters created by pupilsSeminars about preventing bullying for pupils, teachers and parentsAn informational brochure to be distributed to other schools to make them aware of the projectA digital book to enlighten the other European countries experiencing the same problemT-shirt designs for disseminationDigital citizenship and Peer bullying weeks to be held in partner schools every year to ensure the sustainabilitySilent Drama to raise awareness of bullyingIn long term, the peer bullying at partner schools will decrease due to the activities of the project full of friendship messages. That will create a better educational environment for all the students in the partner schools that will help preventing the early school leaving in the future. Since the common language of the project is in English, both students’ and teachers’ communicative competences will increase. Likewise, as students and teachers will use ICT in some project outputs, their digital skills will improve and this will help them use their improved digital skills in their lives, professions and new EU projects. The concrete results will be available on TwinSpace, Youtube Channel, project's website and school' websites at the disposal of everyone interested in bullying. Thanks to eTwinning project and learning events and online meeting on eTwinning, the project gainings will reach to larger audience and long-lasting. We will go on organizing an “ anti-bullying” week every year at each partner school even after the Project ends. This activity will turn into a tradition at partner schools which will promote peace and friendship for years. The e-book to be prepared as a final product will ensure the sustainability of our project and will be used as an inspiring guide by all the stakeholders."

Since students and teachers will use ICT in some project outputs, their digital skills will improve. In the long run, we will go on organizing a “media literacy” week every year. The concrete results will be available on TwinSpace, YouTube Channel, project's websites, social media platforms for everyone interested in media literacy. The e-book will provide the sustainability of our project as well as being a resource from which all our stakeholders will benefit. Moreover, our project with its results will present implications to curriculum designer to integrate media literacy into their national curriculum. Each partner school will prepare an action plan in which we will organize activities, seminars, meetings, etc.to train students on media literacy. Thus, we will ensure that action plan’s being our organizational culture, which is the hardest evidence of our project’s benefits being long lasting

That’s why a 14-16 years old –target group has been chosen because it is the passage to high school , to different environment, to new colleagues, and everything seems to be difficult and frightening . These are the proper conditions and the perfect age for bullying. In this respect, two examples can be given : two Romanian high school girls committed suicide : one of them, a 15 year old girl died, the other was saved in the last moment . This is the main reason why Romania decided to be the coordinator of this project. The situation is worse in partner countries. The methodology would be inclusive and collaborative. Creating debates and sharing valuable experiences by the participant teachers. The methodology will try to wake up the sense of responsibility on the teachers, parents and students( problems\solutions).Expected results:The information, training and awareness will contribute to reduce negative behaviors.Participant schools will integrate the results and conclusions of the teacher training course by: long term strategy on the different schools in collaboration with psychologist, police, social workers and authorities.
