    The project “A Gamified Approach to Youth Entrepreneurship Education“ (AGATE) is a strategic partnership for entrepreneurhsip led by a consortium of four youth organisations: Youth Cooperation Centre of Dilijan NGO (Armenia), Society for Innovative Business Support (Belarus), NGO Youth Progress (Estonia) and Experimentáculo Associação Cultural (Portugal). The 24-months initiative aims to strengthen the capacity of youth organisations in the Eastern Partnership region in youth entrepreneurship education, especially using a gamified approach for incremental learning. Specific objectives of AGATE includes: 1. To qualify youth workers in gamified non-formal educational methods fostering entrepreneurial skills and competences of young people, thus increasing youth employability2. To develop entrepreneurial games to be used by formal and non-formal educational institutions to foster youth entrepreneurial competences in Europe and especially in the Eastern Partnership region3. To increase entrepreneurial competences of young people using a gaming approach to learning4. To promote a gamified approach to youth entrepreneurship education and stimulate international cooperation among youth organisations and other providers of youth entrepreneurship education from the Eastern Partnership region and from the EU The AGATE project features international mobilities and local capacity-building activities, for instance:- An international training course for youth workers about youth entrepreneurship education and gaming for learning- The development of board games fostering entrepreneurship competences, and the publication and dissemination of the games on an online platform - Piloting of the AGATE games with youth workers over an international training course in Setubal and with young people over a youth exchange - A social media campaign to promote a gamified approach in education and most specifically the AGATE games to foster entrepreneurial competences- Local workshops on entrepreneurial competences for youth in Armenia and in Belarus- A Partnership-Building Activity gathering youth workers and other educational stakeholders to build partnerships and cooperation in entrepreneurship education- A Training of Trainers to qualify youth trainers in using gamification tools in youth entrepreneurship education- A large-scale multi-stakeholder conference “Games for Learning” to promote and advocate for gaming in entrepreneurship educationThe strategic partnership for entrepreneurship “AGATE” explores a gamified approach to youth entrepreneurship education especially targeted at youth residing in rural or urban deprived areas.

    Research done in the recent years shows a very weak level of political participation of youngsters in Georgia. Some of the most relevant figures showing this tendency are:- 15-29 year-old young people in Georgia live rather inactive public lives. (UNICEF, Youth National Study, 2015)- 10,9% of youngsters took part in solving youth-related issues (UNICEF, 2014).- Only 2% of youngsters attended a social demonstration or a political party meeting (Friedrich Ebert Foundation, Generation in Transition, 2016)- 45% of youngsters never discuss political issues with their friends or close relatives (CRRC, Caucasus Barometer, October 2017)- In the 2016 parliamentary elections 40% of youngsters (18-35) did not vote (CRRC, Caucasus Barometer, October 2017)In contrast to these figures, 90,4% of youngsters believe they have the right to participate in solving issues related to youth (UNICEF 2013). The project Empower for Change - Strengthening Local Capacities for Youth Participation aims at strengthening the capacities of local youth structures to engage into an inclusive and participatory cooperation on youth issues in Georgia through mutual learning from European practices and a competence development programme for youth organisations and civil servants.The project is composed of three core activity clusters which contribute all to the realisation of the project objectives.Activity Strand 1 - Competence Development for youth fellows (YLTP) and civil servants (CSTP)The YLTP educational programme aims to equip young leaders with the ability to conduct community needs assessments, community analysis, design and conduct local activities fostering youth participation.Activity Strand 2 - Youth City Hall Programme (YCHP). The programme aims to provide a platform for cooperation between municipalities and youth organisations to co-develop and jointly establish sustainable forms of cooperation at municipal level for addressing youth issues.Activity Strand 3 - Sharing Practices – Learning Together (SP-LT)With the help of thematic seminars an exchange of practices and approaches on youth participation and empowerment for community-based youth work, the tool box of youth workers and youth organisations working in EaP region shall be strengthened through a mutual learning process.Accordingly, the project will address the following objectives:- To increase the competences of youth leaders and civil servants to address youth issues in a participatory and inclusive manner on community level- To foster the establishment of sustainable forms of cooperation between local youth organisations and local authorities- To enhance an international exchange on practices for municipal cooperation for youth in EaP region.

    The Start Me Up project aims to support youth workers, organisations and young people in Eastern Partnership countries (Ukraine and Armenia) through concrete tools in entrepreneurship education and start-up development at local and international level, in co-operation with experienced EU-based youth organisations in Hungary and the Netherlands. START ME UP project objectives are: - To develop youngsters’ autonomy, individual and collective responsibility through entrepreneurship and start-up mind-set-To foster entrepreneurial skills for youngsters in order to make them ready to enter in the labour market with new innovative and creative new initiatives, notably start-ups - To increase the competences of youth workers in four partner countries to work with entrepreneurship and start-ups - To integrate the concept of social inclusion into youth entrepreneurship- To create long term bridges of contacts and cooperation in civil society in EaP Project activities and outputs include: - Kick off meeting - Interactive Start Me Up Portal - A study visit to Hungary – start-up and entrepreneurship education for young people - Seminar on entrepreneurship education best practice in UKRAINE - Start Me Up – Eastern Partnership Regional Start-up Info Points in UKRAINE (for Eastern Europe) and ARMENIA (for South Caucasus) - Visibility meetings in local level to disseminate the results of the seminar, promote the Portal as well as the Info Points - Training Course on Entrepreneurship Education in ARMENIA- Visibility Meetings in local level to disseminate the results of the ARMENIA TC, promote the Portal as well as the Info Points- Training Course on Entrepreneurship Education in UKRAINE- Visibility meetings at local level to disseminate the results of the UKRAINE TC- Start Me up! A Toolbox for Entrepreneurship Education and Start-Ups- A social media campaign #StartMeUp- Final evaluation meeting The added value of the project is the local action to be taken in local level through visibility events in each partner country, where youngsters with fewer opportunities will get involved and empowered. The project intends to make youngsters active contributors in social and economic environment in their local community using a novel concepts of start-ups as low cost entry point for young entrepreneurs. It empower youth workers and through them young people in local communities to think for possibilities of new initiatives, creative ideas, to become self-employed and engage in a productive livelihood. Opening a successful start-up or any enterprise requires an awareness of one’s knowledge, skills, abilities, attitudes, values and preferences.

    “Youth entrepreneurship in a Modern Society” project is a multi-measure initiative consisted from a Kick off meeting, a Large scale event: Conference - Forum “Youth entrepreneurship in a Modern Society”, followed by the study visit Study Visit “Enterprise to Learn” and involving 5 partners from 2 Progeamme and 3 ENP cuontries. The Project is to gather decision makers (government, ministries and state agencies), innovation experts (universities, research and development centres, technology transfer centres, start-up centres) , practitioners (SMEs, business incubators and business support organisations) and youth organization promoting entrepreneurship to generate discussion and exchange on the business environmental improvement and development of social and youth entrepreneurship aiming to impact social, economic and ecological development. In order to achieve better and more sustainable results as well as to support participants in their practical implementation of competences gained, the following project has been divided into 3 distinct stages:- Kick off meeting aiming to ensure that all stakeholders have a shared understanding of the project goals, deliverables and workflow.- 2 days Large scale event: Conference – Forum to gather more them 130 young entrepreneurs to connect, learn, share and grow. In addition to dynamic and engaging speakers, the conference will offer networking opportunities, business matching and mentoring sessions with potential partners, investors, start-ups and ecosystem builders, all in all having the possibility to attend:- Exposition to promote and share their products and services.( the event will give the possibility to entrepreneurs to meet the potential customers, set cooperation and expend their business) - 12 trainings and informative seminars, parallel panels and inspiring speeches - Presentation of DCFTA (EU-Moldova trade Relations) and meeting young entrepreneurs from the countries which signed the agreement. - Exchange of good practices among youth organizations promoting youth entrepreneurship and education and those sustaining SME’s. - Find out about the European programs and funds supporting youth entrepreneurship in its diverse forms. - Network and develop national, regional and cross-border cooperation - Study Visit: Within the proposed mobility we aim to increase the understanding of the need of entrepreneurial literacy and education among young people and the way it can impact their employability skills. The connection of the Study Visit with the conference for young entrepreneurs will contribute to bring entrepreneurial reality into the non formal education and youth work and maximize the awareness, participation and outcome. This very structured approach was thought to be the optimum way to foster the synergy between entrepreneurs, policy makers and customs thus sharing a vision for enterprise in education and enable youth works to play a part in achieving that vision.

    "The SMART Caffes project was concrete response to the challenges that address HEIs in Armenia, Moldova, Belarus.Its objective was to encourage students’ entrepreneurial intent and support open innovation approach in collaboration between companies and universities in creative, supportive and motivating environment - SMART Caffes. The core idea was to motivate students and young researchers to actively use their intellectual potential to generate innovative ideas. During this process student teams have had the opportunity to be mentored, guided and advised by company representatives and university staff.The following project outcomes are expected to be sustainable long after the end of the EU funding:7 SMART Caffes(SCs) and their network;4 new training modules elaborated for the teaching staff of SCs8 new trainings elaborated for students enrolled in SCsIT multifunctional platform SMART_CHANNELRevised curricula in 7 HEIsBook: ""From Idea to running business"" in EN, RO, RU, AM, BLRMarket for Ideas in EN and RO/or RU/or AM/ or BLRStart up competition and annual regional conference of EaPC students’ EXPECTED IMPACT is envisaged on:Institutional level: new teaching approaches implemented, teaching staff skills increased, entrepreneurial skills of students fostered, improved quality of education.Regional level: new model of a public-private-people partnership fits to EaCP created, strong Network of motivating environment for students (SMART Caffes) created, contact-building between entrepreneurs -students –HEIs improved.National level: the role of HEIs in society in each EaCP extend, different perspectives crossed, interactions between technologies & market fostered.European level: fostering the integration process of EaCP HEI into the European Higher Education Area, built as an area which using common tools. Thus, EaCP update their higher education systems making them more compatible with EU standards."
