<< Background >>Frequent changes are present in all domains of society, and are especially visible in the field of employment, where today, more than ever before, there are transformations in the structure, scope and types of jobs, while the labour market no longer guarantees permanent employment. Under conditions of ubiquitous competencies and mobility, transferable skills are one of the ways to ensure market mobility and increase professional competitiveness.<< Objectives >>- Know & understand the meaning & domains of key competencies & T-skills- Develop to a certain extent, the transversal skills and be able to use them in different context- Develop a positive attitude toward T-skills their development and use- Increased the employability skills of youth workers- To support proactive attitudes of young people on the issues of youth employment- Fostering an entrepreneurial mindset, attitudes and culture<< Implementation >>In this stage we carried out all the activities described in our application form. All partners participated in the implementation of project activities. Participants have been involved in the process of implementation once they are selected through task related preparation and possibility to conduct selected part of the programme themselves when they felt confident to do so.<< Results >>As one of the results of the project, a Brochure “Guide with tools for fostering transferable skills” was created. The brochure includes exercises and workshops that young people can apply on a daily basis, which will enable them to foster theirs key competencies and transferable skills. The brochure also presents - training resource material - because it was created as a result of conducted activities and workshops.

"""Young Active Europeans"" organised by Serbian NGO EKO MLADENOVAC has consisted of two training courses implemented in the late autumn of 2016 in Serbia (Mladenovac) and winter, 2017 in Poland (Krzyzowa). The project brought together 12 youth NGOs from different European countries willing to explore the idea of youth social and political activism. We have also promoted recognition of European citizenship and practical exercising of citizens rights by young people through non-formal education in 12 European countries. The project consisted of two training courses for youth workers and young leadersTraining Course I – was dedicated to exploration of citizenship, its place in EU strategies and documents. Participants will learn how to promote European support systems fostering youth activism (including Erasmus+). They also worked on methods engaging youth into activities exploring their skills and triggering local activities. Training Course II– the second training course was dedicated to exploration of soft skills as a key to youth engagement and social and political activism, as well as to development of practical skills needed to run local actions promoting active citizenship. We also explored deeper the idea of European citizenship. Participants learned different methods fostering youth skills and confidence in the process of developing and implementing local activities, engaging young people for the benefit of their local communities."
