According to Eurostat's January 2014 publication on Unemployment statistics for the year 2013 for the EU28, youth unemployment is one of the major challenges of EU employment policy .12.9% of those aged 15–24 in the EU28 are currently not in employment, education or training which corresponds to approximately 5.5 million young people. The ET-NEETs project aimed to develop, improve and provide innovative support and deliver significant impact on the quality and effectiveness of training available and offered to young adults who are from disadvantaged backgrounds and are Not in Employment, Education or Training (NEETs) . These young adults are generally disproportionately affected by a lack of opportunities which has been accelerated through the ongoing economic crisis. This situation engenders a lack of motivation that affects not only their educational and work prospects but also their integration into society.Training programmes for NEETs incorporate a variety of elements to teach key competences and basic skills and are currently being designed and delivered by local governments, charities and NGOs. These training providers have had no platform to discuss experiences, problems, successes or results and therefore opportunities to exchange best practice have been missed. The project has worked together with its Target Groups to gather, analyse and produce data to support the development of a common framework for identifying indicators to measure successful training. The project has produced a Web Platform and used Social Media which, for the first time, has brought together training organisations from all levels (locally, nationally and EU-wide) which has enabled them to communicate, organise exchange and find methods of best practice. It has also allowed them to publish and evaluate their own methods and has assisted them to compare programs offered by other organisations using the web platform's Course Finder Matrix software tool. The findings and results produced from the gathered data formed a Final Report-Best Practices for Effective Training for NEETs. This report has been published onto the web platform and is available for stakeholders to download and use as a reference guide for training NEETs. The project designed and delivered two 5-day Pilot NEET Training courses where cross border mobility and motivation were major parts of the experience. The two courses were evaluated (including vital feedback from the NEETs) and the results recorded in a Pilot Performance Report(PPR). Furthermore the project team produced a video of the two PNT's and has published them onto the web platform. Please take a look: http://www.et-neets.eu/en/From the results of the Final Report on Best Practice and the Pilot Performance Report (PPR) the project team then designed and produce a course for teachers and trainers of NEETs to use called the Training Materials for NEET Teachers (TMNT). The TMNT includes elements, methods and techniques that have been tested and proved to be successful. The TMNT courses promote mobility as a significant factor in delivering more effective results in this sector of adult education. The project brought together a mix four partners from three EU countries that include, a local government authority, two private adult training providers and an ICT specialist in adult training software programs in key competences and basic skills. The project partners have shown the relevant experience, expertise and links required to the NEET community that have delivered the work to fulfill the aims of the project. The aim of this project consortium was to significantly decrease the numbers of young adults who are NEETs by offering them better training. The major change envisaged by the completion of this project was to provide European stakeholders with exchange and to share the success of effective training offered to NEETs. This aim, we believe, has been achieved.

This project aims to help young disadvantaged job seekers to get noticed, get selected and perform better during job interviews and thereby increase their chances of getting employed.Employers normally select for an interview, candidates who are better qualified over those who have little or no work experience or qualifications. Therefore, for these young people, who often have a background of fewer opportunities, it is difficult to get selected for a job interview. And if selected, giving an outstanding performance during that interview, becomes the only opportunity for these young job seekers to gain employment. For this, the project has developed two main outputs: 1). The Interview Champ APP: The APP has been designed to interactively coach job seekers to better present themselves, their skills and character to potential employers. It offers an inbuilt training course that will present a range of example interview questions and answers and interview techniques on how to better perform during the job interview. The APP also has the unique facility for the user to create a short high quality ‘Living Video CV' of themselves that can be uploaded onto the projects Job Portal for potential employers to view the individual in a more representative and comprehensive way. The APP can be downloaded from the APP store or Google Play Store. 2). The Job Portal: The Job Portal can be found on the project’s website at: www.interview-champ.eu/portal/It offers the facility for 'Living CV' videos, created by the job seekers, to be uploaded for potential employers to view in order to aid the pre-interview selection process of potential candidates.During the term of the project, selected employers were invited to view and respond in a critical way to the uploaded video CVs’ in order to provide important feedback and tips for the job seekers to improve their presentation skills (performance) before the next face to face job interview. The project has worked with young people from all partner networks who played an important role in the projects work as 'Interview Stars' who can be seen on the projects website performing in a series of Do's and Don't's performances within videos on how to perform or 'not' during job interviews. The two outputs were launched at the project's Final Conference which was held in Oct 2020 in Palma de Mallorca to an audience of 87 participants (a mix of both onsite and online visitors) representing a range of organisations connected to youth employment including NGOs working in labour insertion programs, Job Centres, Recruitment Agencies, Local Government Employment Departments and Agencies. So far the project website (www.interview-champ.eu) has received over 15,500 unique visitors which is 10,000 over initial estimates. The impact of the project two products has come in the form of feedback from the organisations present at the launch who have disseminated the APP and Job Portal products to their young people networks. The response from young job seekers so far has indicated very positive results also indicated by the fast-growing number of 'users' of the APP. At the time of writing this Final Report the APP has been downloaded 654 times. (Downloads from the APP store 364 and 290 form the Google Play Store- In the application it was hoped to have 300 users). The Interview Champ APP and Job Portal are unique approaches and systems for tackling a wide-ranging problem- the poor prospects for inexperienced job seekers trying to find employment without the specific knowledge of presenting their skills and competences at an interview and/or throughout the recruitment process. Both tools have been designed to be expandable to other languages and countries. One of the effects of the Covid Pandemic is high unemployment but another effect is the need for business and education to shift its methods of delivering its services by adapting to new online technologies. The ‘Interview Champ’ tools will help job seekers to;a). Gain the skills to get noticed by employers and get invited for an interview,b). Learn how to perform well during the job interview, andc). Learn new skills to perform well in the digital world- online meetings, discussions during Skype, or conferencing situations are becoming more evident and now many employers are now seeking candidates who possess qualities to perform well and work online.

As the current socio-economic and ecological challenges might be more than a temporary situation, innovative, positive action must be taken now to address this and create new solutions. We believe that sustainable multidisciplinary clusters and their orientation towards ecological transition, are one important approach for a responsible answer to the present needs of our society. In our experience, they are innovation labs, incubators of new ways of working, living and acting for the co-creation of sustainable communities. Therefore, the main aim of this project is to work in partnership for development and implementation of innovative practices in the field of creation and management of sustainable multidisciplinary clusters. Partners were 4 organisations that manage innovative clusters, collaborative places including coworking spaces – Association Les Darwiniens for Darwin Eco-system (Bordeaux, France), hACERIA Ateak for ZAWP (Bilbao, Spain), LX Factory with Coworklisboa (Lisbon, Portugal), Rojc Alliance for Social Centre Rojc (Pula, Croatia) The London Borough of Lewisham and Capture Art and Creative projects Ltd. 2 partners that represent cooperation between local stakeholders and enterprises willing to develop similar places. So far all of the collaborative clusters and coworking spaces were operating in isolation from each other. This project has allowed to bring all their knowledge, skills and experience together in an innovative way, fostering a concrete network between them and enabling all of this information to be freely shared with others.During the project period different co-creation methods and creative approaches (design thinking, de Bono method,...) were used to present innovative models in the following 5 project scopes: 1.ecological know-how, 2.participatory governance, 3.co-working, 4.social entrepreneurship skills 5.Local partnership. Concrete results of the project are the intellectual outputs: Applied research and Online Educational Toolbox - 'hands on' tool based on tried and tested methods and experience that can be used by the public who want to create similar coworking spaces, third places, collaborative spaces or improve work of present one. For the creation of both intellectual outputs, we used a collaborative framework for the gathering of information and as a continuous process we included peer to peer learning. For the creation of our applied research we combined both academics and creative professionals to work together in an international team. During the creation of the toolbox we will use learner generated approach to its content with internal testing by a small team of individuals from the partnership to measure and test the content. The toolbox was inspired by new digital methods and open source resources. Our intellectual outputs have an open source access :http://toolbox.originofspaces.com/https://fr.slideshare.net/fredgarnett/cocreating-coworking-spacesPresentation projet : https://fr.slideshare.net/ChristiaanWeiler/the-origin-of-spaces-project-outlineThere are 3 main target groups for our toolbox : a) internal users, members from the partner organisations, b) external users, persons or organisations that need know how, with the primary aim of creating a collaborative place or participating in an existing one, c) local stakeholders who are the most capable of driving this kind of initiative into existence and need research and a broader inside view for the actions they want to support or develop. We participated in peer to peer learning with co-creation of intellectual outputs – participating in mobility and local activities leaded by Research and Toolbox teams. Different project activities were used to reach final project results: six transnational meetings attended by 105 participants, 3 types of joint staff events with a total of 53 participants: 5 study visits were organized to support creation of Research, 5 bilateral & 1 multilateral training course and 5 assistantship periods with discussion workshops which supported creation of Toolbox. Intellectual outputs were created by 2 international teams. For dissemination of the project results we organized 5 multiplier events: 4 small local dissemination events and one Final big Conference, on which we had more than 350 attendants in total. Our project brought together local actors within a common framework improving social entrepreneurship and gaining support from stakeholders, especially city councils and regional authorities, with an impact on local policy towards ecological transition. The other benefit of this project has been to improve the skills of the participants, able today to share their expertise through trainings and workshops, using creative and agile methods of working, with the digital toolbox as a support. The final event has generated the creation of a network of 25 collaborative spaces having the same values in the Bordeaux Metropole area.
