"The project TRANSITION wishes to create and innovate teaching materials aimed at three crucial components of the entrepreneurial ecosystem: potential startup founders, entrepreneurial trainers/coaches working in business support organizations(accelerators, incubators, development agencies) and current entrepreneurs. These three categories need to be up to date with innovative technology trends and Blockchain is probably the one tech revolution that most probably will change all the aspects of the business world forever. All three actors of the entrepreneurial ecosystem must take part in the digital evolution of processes (production, certification, payment, delivery, etc.) thus the adoption of Digital Ledger technologies and Blockchain among these categories will affect the system in three complementary ways: 1) Potential entrepreneurs will integrate a general and fundamental knowledge of entrepreneurship skills and competencies (Second Intellectual Output) while at the same time being acquainted with the new opportunities offered by this new technology to start a new business following this trend or integrating the technology into their own idea. 2) Current entrepreneurs will enlarge their opportunity horizon about what DLTs can do for their current business, improving the versatility and growth capability of the enterprise ecosystem.3) Entrepreneurial trainers and coaches will have new teaching material to better train their startups/young entrepreneurs, causing this improvement in knowledge to resonate not only on people already committed to starting a business but also toward the future generation of startup founders. The project will produce three outputs, namely:IO1 - Blockchain Knowledge SpaceIt will be a structured repository of useful ""knowledge items"" concerning Blockchain, both as a technology and as an application in the different business areas.Items will be divided by different parameters: type of item (i.e. article, academic paper, MOOC, etc.) language, difficulty level(Basic, intermediate, advanced. Difficulty level of each item will be assessed by the scientific committee) and any other parameter will be deemed useful by the consortium. The BKS will have a manual filter to select the most interesting items for the user by selecting one or more of the aforementioned parameters.O2 Entrepreneurial Starter SetThe Entrepreneurial Starter Set will be the foundation for the training course to align anyone interested in the fundamental competencies to develop when starting a business. This will be a general purpose part of the training material produced by this project, specially produced for potential entrepreneurs to make sure they can foster or refresh a very well defined skill set to survive when making their first step on the market. O3 The Blockchain Entrepreneur KitThe output will be the core activity of the scientific partners of TRANSITION who, along with the VET provider, will design and elaborate the training materials concerning Blockchain for startup coaches / Entrepreneurial trainers, current and new entrepreneurs. The teaching/training materials will give a different take on who is the main target of the teaching/training effort by training the trainers, empowering their ability to grow startups and help startup owners from the very beginning to the potential accession to markets. Current entrepreneurs, on the other hand, will be encouraged to learn how blockchain is used and how they could use it to improve or reshape completely their business model."

In January 2020 the European Green Deal has been announced by the European Commission as fundamental policy initiatives. The purpose is to make Europe a climate-neutral continent protecting at the same time our natural habitat, thus enhancing the well-being of people, the planet and also for the economy. In order to reach this goal, the Green Deal seeks to bring important innovations also in the construction industry. As one of the main intentions is to decarbonize extremely polluting sectors, these measures involve also the building and construction industry. According to the European Union, indeed, 40% of our energy consumption is due to buildings and, consequently, renovating buildings will help people to cut their energy bills and energy use. By using energy more efficiently and thereby consuming less, Europeans can lower their energy bills, help protect the environment and reduce the EU's reliance on external suppliers of oil and gas. Energy efficiency needs to be improved throughout the full energy chain, from production to final consumption. At the same time, the benefits of energy savings must outweigh the costs, for instance, costs resulting from renovations. EU measures, therefore, focus on sectors where the potential for savings is the greatest, such as buildings, or where a coordinated approach is required. By making old and new buildings more energy-efficient, the EU could reduce its energy consumption to 5 and 6% and this could be reached through the creation of new experience in sustainable energy in buildings, for example building energy performance and certification, deep renovation of buildings, energy-smart technical building systems, or improvement of skills and qualifications for energy-efficient building design, construction, and management. So, it is crucial that the technical professionals have the tools to improve energy efficiency, not just customers who request it, but also in their workplaces and to increase the competitiveness of their businesses. As a result, the adoption of energy efficiency measures for buildings has created a strong demand for digital and green skills for smart metering and home automation technologies. Technicians as electricians and surveyors apart from technical proficiency, require a combination of digital and environmental skills to respond to the installation, maintenance, and programming of smart metering and energy efficiency home automation systems. Moreover, they need entrepreneurial and financial skills in other on one hand to better manage their business, and on the other hand, in order to be able to propose a clear and comprehensive proposal to costumers (eg. the technical renovation project, propose new energy efficiency solutions, energy-saving calculations, propose specific financial products to found energy efficiency)The target group will be:- VET Trainers, consultants, and coaches of SMEs/enterprises;- Engineers and architects;- Technicians (electricians or surveyors);- Small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in the construction and building sectorSpecific Objective 1: Training VET trainers/coaches/consultant that will be able to multiply the impact of the training to the final target.Specific Objective 2: Train the final target (technicians, engineers, and architects, etc).Specific Objective 3: Increase the awareness about the Green Deal goals underling the direct impact that construction operators can generate in building a more sustainable worldTaking these objectives into account, the results will be:1) CV Definition of the Energy-efficient expert in the construction sector2) Training course for trainers able to transfer Energy efficiency knowledge and tools to the construction sector and workers3) Interactive Maps and Tools. Innovative techniques for construction able to increase the energy efficiency of buildingsFinally, the project will test its results though a jOint-Staff learning activity and it will disseminate its results through 5 national multiplier events and 1 LTTA to test and assess the project outputs. The partnership includes University Politecnico di Torino (Italy), P- Learning (Italy), Coopération Bancaire pour l’Europe (Belgium), JSI (Slovenia), and PIT (Spain).

The EU is more and more promoting a transition toward a “circular” flow in the economic system. The transition is needed because it tackles two main problems that affects the union: unemployment and environmental challenges. Unemployment is still major issue for EU nowadays and likely will be in the following years as the rate of economic growth still lags behind and while most of the environmental target in Europe 2020 are close to be achieved, a well documented need for knowledge , abilities, values and attitudes are still needed to create a proper equilibrium between society, the economic system and the necessity of reducing the impact of human activity on the environment. The ENFOrCES project aims at covering the gap in those fields primarily by empowering the trainers of future entrepreneurs but also enhancing the knowledge of policy makers by supplying counseling material for policy-makers inspiring them to enable better conditions to change production, transport and market paradigms. The project will reach different category of persons, in particular professionals coming from, green enterprises startup incubators and accelerators, universities and research centers, VET and Higher education suppliers, Development agencies for an estimated total of 400 participants reached by the project. Main project activities are related to the production of four thematic intellectual outputs. 1) The design and development of a Smart trend Map of circular economy startups creation in Europe with a focus on food related business 2) The design and development of a conceptual Mindmap of best practices and open access material on Circular Economy entrepreneurship, focusing on startups cases 3)The elaboration and development of a toolkit of training materials to help Startup trainers/ Entrepreneurial Coaches supporting new entrepreneurs in the field of CE with a focus on food business opportunities 4) Data collection and development of a Policy Library to gather policy advices from partners and stakeholders to the benefit of policy makers and stakeholders The project will see the collaboration of different kind of partners in a collaborative methodology that will emphasize each partners' specificity. The Scientific and Vocational Training institutions will collaborate closely to ensure that the scientific content is of high quality and the teaching material is accessible yet challenging at the same time. Representative institutions will exploit their network to gather all the needed data to fulfill the creation of IOs and to properly disseminate the project. Incubators and entrepreneurial institutions will both support the creation of outputs exploiting their internal competences and gather the attention of practitioners and professionals in the startup world. The projects wants to have long term impact by giving trainers the ability to increase their knowledge and affecting positively on many different generations of entrepreneurs. All the teaching materials will be online available for every professional to use, igniting a virtuous loop of knowledge in the Circular Economy environment, supported by the contemporary improvement of policy maker knowledge expected through the use of the policy library tool. Both of these project results are designed to have an impact measured over time (future entrepreneurs, future decision makers about CE regulations) through the empowerment of knowledge base and training personnel.
