However, these practices, approaches and actions are not sufficiently shared and do not yet provide a set of well-identified, visible and publicized resources. 2 - All of the associations participating in the ESPI project have recognized expertise in hosting and supporting citizen projects but they are different in nature and act with various partners. The ESPI project will enable them to work closely with each other: - ACT, the French structure supporting ESPI's project, is a resource center specialized in providing documents related to discrimination, history and the memory of migrations (via conferences, symposia and websites). ACT also develops training courses for teachers and social workers. At the national level, the association leads an important network of institutions, NGOs and researchers that fight against racism and promote multicultural integration. - 4motion, the partner based in Luxembourg, supports multilingual citizen projects, works on raising awareness of stereotypes and fosters professional empowerment. - Changement pour l'égalité (CGé), the Belgian structure, is an important partner specialised in the fight against school drop-out. CGé advocates for the recognition of parents from underprivileged background in the schools and is an official expert of the Belgian Ministry of Education with respect to alternative pedagogies. CGé also organises teacher training in Belgium. - Cospe, the Italian partner, is a key player in the fight against hate speech via large awareness-raising and communication campaigns. 3 - The aims of the ESPI project are: - co-training and cross-fertilization of participants’ experience with respect to fight against discrimination and social exclusion and development of tools to help participants build projects inclusion-related projects - development of public inclusion approaches directed towards refugees, children and stakeholders from the NGO, institutional and cultural sectors - development of innovative pedagogical approaches - better understanding and transformation of our professionnal practice in line with a renewed concept of citizenship (cultural, knoweldge-based, daily-life citizenship) Once the project is completed, we expect to have a catalog of tools and pedagogical skills coming from the partners of ESPI project; to have built up an innovative intercultural vision to fight social exclusion; to have improved our web-based communication. 4 - The associations participating in the ESPI project operate in different territories. Two of them are located around the Mediterranean sea and are perfectly aware of the cultures as well as the historical and economic complexities of this migration area. The two other ones are active in Northern Europe and have developed broad skills in pedagogy, project management and multilingual approaches. Combining our experiences will enable us, through the participants’ common work, to foster new professional and civic skills and to increase our impact in the Euro-Mediterranean area. 5 – We have intentionally designed the ESPI project as intellectually ambitious. Because of the material constraints of our work, we expect the Erasmus + program to facilitate our two-year long partnership. The action plan includes 6 thematic transnational meetings and 4 training activities providing mobility to adult participants: a) Transnational meetings structured around four phases: experience-sharing; critical analysis of available resources; operationalization; impact assessment. The selected themes for these meetings will be: inclusion; citizenship; equality and discrimination; interculturality, diversity and otherness; conclusion and perspectives for future work. Each meeting will focus on the active involvement and empowerment of the target audiences. b) Mobility-based training activities taking place successively in each of the partner countries (France, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg) and taking into account territorial specificities. These meetings will have a central theme: identity and otherness; pedagogy and relation to knowledge; cultural action; emergency help and educational action.

The European Union places special emphasis on mitigating and curbing the problem:“A European Green Deal - Striving to be the first climate-neutral continentClimate change and environmental degradation are an existential threat to Europe and the world. To overcome these challenges, Europe needs a new growth strategy that transforms the Union into a modern, resource-efficient and competitive economy where:there are no net emissions of greenhouse gases by 2050;economic growth is decoupled from resource use,no person and no place is left behind”- 96% of Europeans think that we have a responsibility to protect nature;- 95% of Europeans consider that looking after nature is essential for tackling climate change.”“COUNCIL RECOMMENDATION of 22 May 2018 on key competences for lifelong learningUnesco’s Global Action Programme on Education for Sustainable Development affirms that education for sustainable development is an integral element of quality education and key enabler of all other Sustainable Development Goals. This aim is reflected in the revision of the Reference Framework.”OBJECTIVESThe overall goal of our project is to help communities of European municipalities to prepare for climate change by sustainably maintaining and developing urban biodiversity and green spaces. One of the main challenges facing the world of L2 teaching is to offer a training proposal that responds to the real needs, requirements and interests of learners.<< Objectives >>Driven by the desire to join forces to respond to a real need in their territories of reference in the informal L2 education field, the partner associations have designed the ""ALL-IN"" project with the (general) objective of promoting the socio-linguistic inclusion of migrants, refugees and applicants in the territories where they live and work, which will be achieved by improving the quality of L2 teaching through the design and testing of innovative teaching practices in 4 EU countries (specific objective). The direct beneficiaries of the project will be the L2 teachers of the various countries involved, both working in the formal and informal teaching system and the organisations and institutions providing L2 courses. The indirect beneficiaries will be the foreign citizens who use these courses.<< Implementation >>In order to achieve the project objectives, the following activities will be implemented:1. Transnational meetings: 1 kick-off meeting + 4 transnational meetings, involving 2 participants per partner association are foreseen to foster exchange and comparison between project partners.2. Guidelines on good practices and methodologies useful to overcome the difficulties highlighted in L2 teaching for adults in formal and informal contexts, with particular regard to the ‘vulnerable’ target groups (eg women, asylum seekers, unaccompanied foreign minors), resulting from a previous reserach in each country .3. Elaboration of a didactic Manual with modules of L2 teaching for adults in each country (EN + Language of the country). Each partner will choose a specific target group (eg women, workers, etc.) or an area (eg. work, health, etc.) to develop an innovative 10-hour module based on the guidelines developed by the University for Foreigners of Siena. 4. Three Long Training and Teaching Activities (LTTA) are foreseen to foster a ""complementary"" increase of participants' knowledge and skills in the field of L2 teaching to adult migrants: - ""L2 ball in the centre. How to teach L2 through sport"".- 'Digital competences for L2 teachers'. - ""Learning L2 with board games"". 5. Multiplier events: one in each country for each of the main results of the projects (above mentioned).6. Other transversal activities: coordination, evaluation, dissemination...<< Results >>The expected results during the implementation of the project will be: - an increase in knowledge of methodologies and strategies for teaching L2 to migrants through the elaboration of a field analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of current systems. - innovation of strategies and tools used for teaching L2 to adult migrants. Expected results at the end of the project:- increased capacity of L2 language teachers to offer innovative training that meets the real needs of the target groups - increased number of adult migrants and refugees who complete the training courses - increased dissemination of innovative teaching tools for L2 language teaching."

The resources are directed at empowering youth by putting them at the center of a hands-on learning experience in a process that lets them determine the pace and the direction of their environmental action. Our proven arts-based methodology results in young people becoming more aware of their potential, gaining in self-confidence, developing critical-thinking and life skills, while rehearsing their professional skills to eventually be attractive to employers.Youth NGOs will also grow stronger by acquiring new tools and widening their network to become more effective and resilient, which will allow them to branch out in related sectors and have a deeper impact within the communities they serve. In the long-term, we will see increased eco-awareness in the disadvantaged communities we serve. Residents will make the connection between personal action and repercussions in society and the environment. This will raise awareness among community leaders on the topic of waste management and related environmental issues. We will cultivate engagement in young people who will develop into more democratically active citizen.
