There are a lot of young people without any future ideas and job perspectives. Our objective in school is to prepare them better for the future job market and to teach them key skills to be prepared and have more opportunities to find work. Especially now with the world wide crises due to the Covid 19 there will be more people without a job but it also can be a chance to find a job in the systemically relevant professional field knowing the right skills, be prepared and know where to look for a job. But it’s not the only reason for this idea. We have more and more students who don’t want to finished school and finally leave school without any degree. To prevent this the students need to have a perspective for their future, they have to know different kind of working fields and have to find out their own skills to be motivated for school. Only when they know where to study for its much easier for them. Without any target in life it’s much more difficult for a lot of pupils. In this project with the title ""Career orientation in school"" the following five schools will participate and cooperate: Lloyd Gymnasium from Bremerhaven (Germany), IIS Francesco Orioli (Italy), Escola Básica e Secundária Com P/E da Calheta (Portugal), Bornova Anadolu Lisesi (Turkey), 1 Epal Trikalon (Greece). During the visits the participating pupils and teachers will be informed about the local situation concerning jobs. They will visit different companies and learn about vocational perspectives especially in the region. They will work on different topics. The aim is to produce a website with useful information for current pupils and for those who will later on look for vocational orientation. The website provides information to useful English vocabulary for job interviews, the padlet including the adresses of interesting companies in the hometowns/regions of all participating schools, a style sheet for an English CV and for a cover letter, information about the application process for the hometown universities and the universities of the other participating towns, information about instruction courses/alternances in vocational schools of the hometowns."

Our society is faced with a growing number of environmental problems and still not too many people are willing to look at the long-term effects of it and our project aims at educating students how to become active and more responsible citizens. To educate and to act is an imperative, so that they can understand the importance and value of our natural resources and choose living sustainably. Objectives of our project are to educate and raise awareness about our responsibility to slow down the side effects of technical progress, protect and preserve the world we live in. We aim at changing individual and collective behaviour through sustainable consumption and sustainable living. This partnership involves 5 partner schools and the target groups are our students, aged 15-18, our teachers and also the wider community of our schools (families, local authorities etc). 4 students and 2 teachers from each partner school will participate at each LTT activity, yet many more will be involved in the other project activities. The project target group are not only highly motivated and advanced students, but also students with disadvantaged backgrounds, learning difficulties or facing social obstacles. All partner schools have a significant experience in running different Environmental, eTwinning and European projects and are highly motivated to come up with innovative teaching methods to face the challenges of the lifestyle we lead nowadays and take responsibility to change it as precaution for future generations. The project activities are geared toward the active participation of all students through fieldwork projects on the subject of ‘facing particular local environmental problems’, activities to be carried out in the classrooms with the use of web 2.0 tools and the help of innovative educational methods and a respective eTwinning project to sum up and promote all the above activities. The planned activities are divided into different activities before, during and after each LTT and focus on 5 selected different topics: 1. Recycling as the first step2. Mass consumerism society3. Water polution4. Endangered natural heritage and 5. Saving energy and the environment. We will fill in different questionnaires, analyse them, explore and search for information to be presented, compare our results, organize different workshops, write blogs, reports, disseminate our results, prepare Open Days, learn from each other, gain experience, go on study visits. All activities will be interactive and enhance team work and peer learning, they will aim at developing new skills and competences necessary for participants' personal development. Methodology that we will use will be innovative, apprehendable, motivating, student-centred and will contain certain steps within each phase of the project's life cycle. The teachers will apply new methods, instead of traditional ones, to achieve the aims of the project and will debate with groups with cultural differences or social obstacles, getting them to do presentations together, giving feedback to each other, discussing and reporting together. We expect the participants to acquire an overall picture of the various environmental problems we are facing nowadays and the possible solutions on them.In addition, with this project we intend to give our students not only the knowledge they need to appreciate environmental values but also the skills to act dynamically to protect them by adopting a more sustainable way of life and cooperating with one another in order to face particular local problems. With other European schools participating, we wish to bring up not only the pan-European aspect of these problems but the universal one as well and try to find common ways to face them. This project is not limited only to the period it is applied for but is expected to address not only environmental issues, but also the exchange of good practices, experiences and future projects, Erasmus and eTwinning and deepen the tackled topic in the following years. An online network relevant to environmental education will be created along with a repository of good educational practices which will be enriched by uploading good practices not only from the other partners but also from other schools that want to join. This long term cooperation among participant schools will be the strong point of the sustainability of this project.

It is evident that learning cultural past also bridges between past and present. Even though people in the different country have different cultures, they have some similarities like the tendency of preserving culture, everyone is aware of the significance of preserving culture. Learning and preserving a country's cultural past is undoubtedly a basic requirement because of two crucial reasons: one is a sense of national identity, the other is creating and understanding cultural symbols.Knowing our history, roots, language and culture helps us construct our identity and a sense of belonging and awareness that leads us to realize who we really are and understand more deeply the importance and the richness of the other cultures. As teachers we must take responsibility for the next generation not just to educate ourselves but to organize ourselves in making our own history and future. The project will concentrate on these target areas. 1-To search, investigate, discover and visit the monuments connect to the town of every European country participating in the project: The students will learn to identify the value and the meaning of those unique monuments - many of them are recognized by UNESCO as monuments of global heritage - and realize the responsibility for their preservation.2-Digital age of open education and innovation: To encourage the acquisition of skills and competence through the use of effective and innovative teaching methods; taking into account the aspects of curricular IT skills adapted for age groups; to promote critical thinking in particular by teaching exact scientific knowledge; the improvement of under-average performances in science, history, geophonics ( The study or science of agriculture ), and ICT skills. Through local and regional visits our students conduct scientific research, seek out bibliographical sources, learn new information and communications skills and digital techniques.3- The social and educational value of the cultural heritage of Europe: Discovering the cultural Heritage of each country includes many different things from the past that wevalue and want to pass on to future generations. It could be people’s memories and experiences, community history, cultural traditions, or the history of languages and dialects.4- Encouraging knowledge and abilities development for young people: The project encourages students to exercises their reasoning and logical thought by contact with sites with a unique cultural heritage and to establish attitudes and behaviours, so as to foster beauty, society and community. The project partners are six schools and the project is addressed to students 13 to 17 years old. Approximately more than 120 Students will be involved to the project activities during 2 years. Student exchanges and other activities will also help our students to gain a better grasp of the European Cultural Diversity and a stronger sense of the European cultures and their diverse perspectives. Many activities before LTT will be done in etwinning that will give the chance to a wider number of students to take part in every step of the project, especially students that cannot take part in activities that have kinetic problems or facing social and other difficulties, refuges etc. this thing will give the chance to them to take part actively by the use of ICT tools and to have a main role in the implementation of the project. INCLUSION is important and our priority in this project and we are going to include more students with Etwinning and Local activities. The research on this project is intended to explore cultural heritage at the local level, their impact on the identification of the person and their capacity for interacting and collaborating as well as to encourage the growth of their social and economic position in these regions. Activities will be carried out in the classroom with the use of web2.0 tools and outdoors by the use of mobile technology and applications. The working scheme consists of studying and researching the local heritage resources and sharing this information in transnational meetings; learning about the entrepreneurial project linked to those heritage resources and increasing awareness and recognition with the production of promotional material at local and transnational level. All project activities are focused on a project-based learning framework with multidisciplinary approach, structured in a cooperative transnational environment around outdoor activities and peer-learning.With this project, we would like to raise the consciousness of our students and the educational community about local heritage and its significance, and to provide feedback and examples for other schools.

We all worked together and made a journey through the environment, traditions, culture and the initiatives of our countries, critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, metacognition, self-reflection, and motivation as well as scientific knowledge, language and cultural competence were activated by means of innovative strategies and a constant use of digital tools. The activities had been organised to prepare students for independent learning, learning by doing , and firsthand learning with several outdoor activities which were supposed to lead them to the historical memory, to be fully knowledged, conscious and active citizens. The project was concerned with geography, biology, English, environment, IT, health education, culture studies, art and eco-tourism. Students were encouraged to take responsibility for their own health and well being and their social, cultural, historical and geographical environment. The project activities also aimed at developing communication skills, problem solving abilities, decision making, teamwork skills, giving presentations and IT skills. Cross-cultural and cross-curricular learning were also supported through all project activities. In the first year, teachers benefited from a study visit/ professional training about teaching, experiences and lessons to be delivered to students. This first meeting took place in Trikala, Greece, and was a a kick-off-meeting of the whole project. . The focus of the students learning that took place in Santa Comba, Spain, was on natural disorders . Outdoor learning activities were spotted through outdoor learning for eco-tourism: the students developed a business plan for making their area a bit more attractive and revitalizing it as eco-tourim destination ( the participants visited also Santiago Compostella and other important natural and cultural site in order to have a better gist of what tourists need when they visit a place and what authorities can do in order to provide them with what they need). The students also prepared interviews with their elders about the time they spent in nature and their connection with the environment, they preesented them in Santa Comba and after watching all the materials they worked in multinational teams to create Draw My Life videos dealing with the similiarities and differences between the generations. The third meeting was organized by the Italian partner school in Taranto. There, the students improved their life style and healthy eating habits studying the Mediterranean Diet , visiting a hotel and catering school and oil /dairy products manufacturing companies, doing chemical analysis of oil etc.. The products of the meeting were a digital cookbook with European healthy recipes for young people and a healthy eating campaign for teenagers, ( poster and illustrative leaflet). The second year of the project started with the meeting in Cracow, Poland. There, the main aim was the Cultural heritage and therefore the students followed an itinerary through History and Culture rediscovering their roots. ( They took documentation visits to the Old town of Cracow, a salt mine and other industrial sites, but also the world heritage of Auschwitz in order to have a better understanding of the past and see its consequences on present generations). The final products were cultural posters showing the EU motto „Unity in diveristy“ and a Kahoot! Game created in multinaitonla teams. Then , the Covid-pandemic started, meaning a time delay of a whole year. This caused a change of participants at most schools, because many of the participating students had left schools. Only the teachers remained the same. And unfortunately the real meetings had to be replaced by virtual ones. The fourth meeting was organized by the Romanian partner school in Slobozia, but it was only a virtual meeting. Nevertheles, the main focus remained the same: the investigation into the environment from the natural and cultural point of view. The products were creative writing and paintings/drawings, a survey of important national poets and painters bonded to nature and a leaflet about sports games in the nature. The final meeting, of course also virtual, was organized by the coordinating school from Felsberg, Germany, where all studies were summed up and important project-related presentations were made. During this meeting the whole project was evaluated, the gathered material was stored on project websites, such as eTwinning and all EU dissemination platforms."
