GIORGI,Scoala Postliceala de Studii Sanitare Queen Elizabeth CraiovaFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2019-1-IT02-KA229-062216Funder Contribution: 156,579 EURCONTEXTThe partner schools highly believe that technology literacy skills and knowledge/information will be obtained and improved by the help of innovative/modern teaching and learning approaches which will especially involve efficient usage of different digital devices like tablets, smartphones, iPads-very popular devices especially among Ss. Nowadays we can observe the tendency of utilizing digital tools in teaching, but even so, most schools have difficulties in actually using these devices in educational contexts. What is more, regardless of the fact that some schools are very well equipped with ultra-modern facilities, teachers are still having a deficit in knowledge, practice, training about using them, and this fact makes all these facilities ineffective. The main aim of our partnership is to offer our Ss assistance in acquiring, developing and improving the digital skills. In order for this to happen we will create contexts for cooperative and collaborative work to take place, we`ll learn from observing the technology based teaching method applied (learning assisted by smart phones) in other European schools. Because some schools need more information and practice in this field, they need to learn about the diversity of all mobile apps and web 2.0 tools we are planning to start the implementation with a Short Term Joint Staff training event, followed by 4 Students exchangesOBJECTIVESTeachers: We have set some key objectives for Ts and Ss (the main beneficiaries) which will be achieved through all project activities, developed locally as well as transnationally. Teachers:- to achieve, develop and enhance knowledge about educational mobile apps and Google tools- to utilize smart phones in teaching - to exercise on using digital tools- to develop Ts` digital proficiency, topic related knowledge and cultural awareness- to boost Ts confidence and creativity about utilizing teaching methodologies based on technology - to develop English language skills, communicative and collaborative ones- to transfer experiences/best practicesStudents:- to achieve, develop and also improve literacy related to technology and information - to boost learning motivation - to develop digital proficiency - to improve their communication/collaboration skills, level of English- to foster creativity, initiative- to exercise on using Google tools as well as mobile apps with educational purposes- to share experiences with foreign peers- to promote students’ long term academic achievements- to develop cultural awareness as well as intercultural competence.ACTIVITIESC1-Staff mobility: Google tools and Mobile devices+Apps used for educational purposesC2-Students mobility: “Google tools/smart phones-how to use them in classrooms?”C3-Students mobility: “Mobile apps used for teaching + web 2.0 tools udsed for developing collaborative learning”C4-Students mobility:“Mobile apps and the use of web 2.0 tools creating content”.C5-Students mobility: “Mobile apps and the use of web 2.0 tools for doing assessment”.Before exchanges with Ss, each partner organizes a practical activity with and for Ss. PARTICIPANTSTeachers and students’ will directly and indirectly be involved(15-18+ year old): belonging to vocational or simply general education. Ss are the cornerstone of entire project and activities. 20 Ss/school involved in mobilities, in dissemination events and transfer of results. In C1 there will be 3 teachers involved /country. In C2,C3,C4,C5 will then be 2 teachers/country. 52 teachers will attend international exchanges. They are mainly Technology (IT), Maths, Language and Foreign Language, Science teachers, though other subject teachers could be involved also. IMPACTBoth Ts and Ss will learn and practice work with innovative/modern mobile apps and digital tools. The impact of the project will be unfolded in all participants` schools, as the Ss and Ts who will be actively involved will improve their competence in using different digital tools on regular basis in the classroom. Classes will turn into being more interactive, Ss more motivated and more involved in the self-education process-this will trigger long term positive effects as: developed academic achievement of Ss that will prepare them for work field or further university education. RESULTS-tangible/intangible-participants will become more motivated towards learning, more digitally proficient and more involved in their self-development-schools will become more attractive and more suitable for the 21st Century educational demands.

Klementyny Hoffmanowej,IPIAS G. GIORGIFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2018-1-TR01-KA229-060961Funder Contribution: 154,529 EURThe refugee problem, which has become an international problem in recent years with priority, and our belief that we can minimize the social and economic risks posed by this problem in society through education, is our greatest aim in writing this project. In addition to the dramas and tragedies of refugees, pre-emptive judgments against refugees make it even more difficult for refugees to live in difficult conditions. Especially in European countries and in our country, the perception of refugees as a security problem in the new world order increases the crime rates of Refugees; accusations and prejudices are produced such as the negative impact of the people of the country on employment opportunities, the reckless use of the means of the country and the low educational levels . Thanks to our project, we will be able to offer solutions to all of these problems by bringing a different perspective. All of our project participants have encountered the refugee problem in their schools or communities and have conducted small-scale research, literature surveys, and have sufficient level of readiness and awareness . At the same time, 5 of our project partners have carried out EU projects or actively acted. Our project consists of three main phases: preparation phase, activity phase and dissemination phase. The first work to be done with all partners from the preparatory stage will be the selection of the participants. All participants will be determined according to the selection criteria determined by the Project Board of directors and the objections will be evaluated by the election board, so that a fair and transparent selection process will be passed. The second phase will be the communication networks of the commissions and boards for our project, which will consist of Facebook, Skype and messenger groups and thanks to these groups, all participants will be in constant communication with other participants both horizontally and vertically and will hold online meetings with certain periods. They will take measures by identifying possible risk factors that will instantly identify the missing and missed aspects of the project. Prior to each activity, participants will receive the necessary permits for their exit to abroad. They will carry out hotel reservations, flight tickets and insurance transactions deemed necessary. We will also have commissions to report all documents, correspondence and online meeting minutes during our project. All these commissions will take part in all of the dissemination activities, as in every phase of the project, so that a healthy project process will be carried out. During these activities, the effectiveness of the project will be increased by sharing the photos we obtained with the videos and interesting visuals in the erasmus+ corners of the schools. In addition, all the activities during the school staff and students will be informed by meetings and similar activities will be made in their own schools and the impact of our project will be expanded. All activities will increase awareness of our students and teachers about refugees and increase effective empathy skills.
