"The project´s main objective is to apply project-based learning to the educational field, using ludic activities to learn. It’s a perfect cooperative tool which will allow us to bring STEM closer to our students. An active and creative STEM learning facilitates the students incorporation to the labour market, as it helps our students to make decisions, solve problems and fosters their creativity. In addition, the student’s communicative and digital competence are essential as it is a cooperative transnational project. It also improves the cooperative ability and promotes respect towards other people. All the activities expect to promote the Intereuropean dialogue and the knowledge of other languages and also promote the introduction of cooperative learning elements between nations. The main concern of all the partners is to innovate in the STEM teaching methods in order to contribute to strengthen our students entrepreneur spirit. By choosing the specific theme of Astronomy, we will thus scan the different fields of STEM studies, incorporating transdisciplinarity. Thus, a wide range of different subjects will take part in this project: Sciences, Maths, Technology, English, Arts, History, Music, PE,… The participation of primary school teachers in the project will also enable us to carry out the inter-cycle link. The common thread of the project will be the creation of a sundial in the schools, or if possible in the city of the partners. The result of the project will thus be available to a varied audience: pupils, teachers, parents and the entire local population. We will create a social link between the different actors of the project. In addition to the creation of the sundial, our students will work on other activities, such as the creation of a 3D model of constellations, representation of the surface of the Moon, quizzes, “Padlets” and interactive maps on the System Solar, poems and even musical performances on Space,…Students will create a virtual world around Space and use “Future Classroom”, using digital tools such as ""CoSpace"" from Lab21.0.The second main objective of the project will be to establish an inter-cycle link between kindergarten, primary and secondary schools. The little ones will present their vision of Space and then participate in the activities created for them by the older ones.Tutoring will be set up between young and old, which will enhance the work done and allow students to increase their self-esteem.The students will be the most favoured ones, as innovation and creativity in the methodology will contribute to improve STEM teaching. Participating in this project will also improve our students' digital and linguistic competence, as they will communicate and work together on different activities.Teachers will also receive a positive benefit from it, as it will affect directly the methodology in STEM lessons as well as interdisciplinary work. Access to different educational resources, new technological tools and interdisciplinarity will lead to a profound change in the way we understand the teaching of STEM.Mobilities and communication among students, teachers and educational community are a fundamental part in a multilateral project like this, and it will not only contribute to improve linguistic competence but also to acquire a new way of understanding Europe and the society in general. Its impact will affect all families involved and the whole educational community. The project will be disseminated online: schools’ websites, eTwinning and different social networks. Parents, students and educational community will be able to access all information via these publications or through informative meetings, to which other schools in the area and education actors will be invited. European citizenship, teaching of foreign languages and new methodologies that will favour the development of basic competences, new technologies... All these things are necessary nowadays for a student to become a successful professional in the future. We want all this to be a hallmark of our schools. Finally, we hope that during this project on the theme of Astronomy, our « Students Observers Learn Astronomy And Run to Travel to Space » !"

This project is one which revolves around Maths, Astronomy and modelling. We are calling it a STEAM project instead of STEM because we do want to be able to include an artistic element as wellThe project aim would be1) To develop a challenging and exciting project which would heighten the profile and attractivemness of STEM to students from a wide range of abilities.2) To generate links between our schools and communities with particular reference to creating resources for life long learning opportunities for members of our communities are not normally considered as being engaged in education. In preparation of this application we have already established links with U3A in some of the regions. This organisation is uniquely for older people, giving them the opportunity to meet and make new friends who share the same interests or lifestyle. But who also want to acquire knowledge of astronomy and enjoy sharing knowledge with others. The motivation is partially educationally but also about social cohesion, many of our schools are located in areas which are either very rural or where the facilities available are focussed on younger people.3) To create self standing educational resources which can be used by organisations looking at educating children who are unable to access school. For example, young offenders institutes or hospitalised children.4) The partners would work together to create a bank of open resources (videos, programme of study, music, art show drama play), 5) The project would have a definite aim of encouraging language fluency between partners, We woold be encouraging students to communicate in languages other than their own.6) A social objective of this project would be to give our young people the opportunity to meet with their peers from across the continent of Europe and to recognise that despite the political landscape we currently live in, there are more similarities than differences between us. The resources would be created by our our students and the idea is that the best way of learning would be to teach. We would be aiming to produce paper/magazine based workbooks which would have sections onThe historical study of Mathematicians, the links between art and science.Creation of instructions to make Platonic solids. The maths of the Ellipse and calculating Eccentricity and from that predicting planetary posiitonThe Physical Nature of the Planets...Density Realtive size. The Astronmical Unit, composition of atmospheres. (spectroscopy)Atoms and Molecules, Periodic tableStudy of Mercury and Venus....Photos, arts, poetryMars size compositionThe Space stationIn order to develop students' digital skills we would work together on producing a web site and a phone app, the latter output would gamify the content.

"The project ""The sustainable city, an eco-logical city?"" involves six European secondary schools of the college type:- College of Servois (La Chapelle en Serval, Oise, Hauts-de-France, France)- Lothar Kahn Schule (Rehlingen-Siersburg, Germany)- IES Jacarandá (Brenes, Seville, Spain)- 3rd Junior High School of Rhodes (Rhodes, Greece)- Fons Vitae Lyceum (Amsterdam, Netherlands)- IC centro storico Moncalieri (Piedmont, Italy)around ecological, urban, environmental and civic issues for two years (2020-2022). Our schools are scattered throughout the European Union, looking at very different ecological practices where a North / South dichotomy is sometimes seen in personal representations. In each of the schools, located in cities or in peri-urban areas, the concern for a healthier environment and a more sustainable city has strongly emerged in the minds of the school community and the programs, in particular since the organization of major forums (for example COP21 in 2015) or initiatives led by very diverse actors (strikes for the climate, specific actions of environmental NGOs). It is in a multidisciplinary spirit and with a desire to support the eco-citizens of tomorrow that this project is developed in favor of an ecological conscience and the challenges to come.During the two years of collaboration between our establishments, we wish to promote the discovery of each establishment through six six-day mobilities in each of the countries where students and teachers will discover and work together on productions that highlight their creativity, their ideas and their talents. For each mobility, at least six students and two teachers from each country will be directly involved through a methodology of work in international groups leading to a specific result. This is how models of the city of tomorrow will be produced during the first mobility, in the same way as posters, mind maps, films and books to make classroom learning concrete. With this synthesized theory, we wish to work on the representations, sometimes erroneous, of the participants through practical workshops (scientific, artistic, sports or even culinary) in which each of the participants will be able to fully develop. The whole will be guided by the observation of problem situations and symbolic places of sustainable development: organic development center, shared gardens, museums, eco-districts, ...Through this project, we want to make the idea of a common front of eco-citizens more concrete in order to replace the student actor of his environment in particular by using all the learning techniques at our disposal: the use of digital will be privileged , through the Etwinning platform, as well as the creation of supports making concrete the enhancement of the school curriculum. This will be the vector for greater collaboration between the target groups around multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary issues bringing together a large number of direct and indirect actors (school community, families, local communities, environmental associations, urban planners, experts, ...) .Our project aims to be a source of life, interactivity and a driving force for the participants who will be able to share their experience and their experience through a strong dissemination which the media will be able to echo in order to allow the transfer of practices. It is therefore a project not only local but whose impact will be on several scales (academic, regional, national and European) involving multiple actors (families, schools, ...). The contributions will be multiple in favor of a real work on the linguistic, oral, digital and social skills from which the participants will be able to profit in favor of a greater employability."

Our project was originally designed to ensure that the cultural heritage of our countries could be shared through the medium of art. We had hoped that through working in the area of art the children would gain a meaningful understanding of their own cultures and also the diversity of cultures found within Europe. The project came about as partners met through E-Twinning and some former friendships from past projects. A preliminary meeting was held in Galway between the Italian, Irish and English teams. It was during this meeting that the basis of the project was formed and the application was initiated. Together we created the acronym for our project, @Museart. This summarised our main focus for the project, art, museums, ICT and amusement.By promoting and improving the skills of both teachers and children in the area of art, our objective was to allow them to use these skills in other areas of learning and life situations. We ensured that our project was inclusive and involved all members of school communities regardless of ethnicity, socio-economic background or academic achievement. Our aim to foster the continuous professional development of our teachers through the sharing of ideas and various pedagogical approaches within our European Community of schools was important. Our main aims were: To enrich the culture of each partner by exploring the main artistic places of each participating country and exploring the various cultures, traditions and places associated with art and creativity. We used art as a means of developing curricular material to improve the talents and abilities of the students. By participating in the various activities of the project, the children were enabled to develop a wide range of life-long learning skills such as literacy, ICT and a appreciation for aesthetic beauty. The choice of art as medium for developing these skills proved to be very effective because it is inclusive by nature and allowed all of the children to express their talents. To enhance the teacher’s overall professional development we improved their cultural knowledge, shared innovative teaching methodologies, exchanged excellent practice and provided learning opportunities and cultural stimuli. The project involved 9 schools from 8 different countries around Europe. The schools serve a wide variety of socio-economic communities and a wide variety of ethnic diversity. Having completed the activities the children are equipped with the knowledge, abilities and attitudes necessary to appreciate the unique artistic differences and similarities between the various cultures of our European partners now and into the future. One of the outcomes of the various activities and workshops was the development and improvement of and language skills which was evident during workshops, meetings and school visits. This project provided entrepreneurship opportunities by creating on-line resources, videos, exhibitions, workshops and artistic creations that were utilised by each visiting team. The long term benefits of the project are plentiful. As well as creating a lifelong friendship between partners, it has deepened our understanding of one another’s culture. The children’s immersion into the project has allowed them to develop friendships and understanding for a wider European community, the importance of its unity but also to recognise their own important culture.
