While the average unemployment rate in the EU is as low as 8.6%, huge discrepancies among member states are registered and recent developments show a persisting high youth unemployment percentage (18.6%). In the absence of clear policy action, it will be harder for unemployed people to find new jobs. Addressing these challenges, an array of literature predicts that the so-called “circular economy” would add a remarkable number of jobs and stimulate unemployed people re-join the workforce. ‘Circular Economy’ comprises such diverse aspects as product design, production processes, consumption, waste management, reuse and recycling, all of which present significant potential opportunities for job development and employment. OBJECTIVES Project 'You inCOME' aimed at the exchange of first-hand experiences, theoretical projects and context-specific initiatives will serve the purpose of deepening the knowledge about ‘circular economy’, creating moments of reflection and exchange of good practices not only for the young people involved, but also for the trainers, relevant stakeholders and the partners and organisations active in the project, thus laying the foundation for more cooperation efforts in the field of youth. The project also addressed 2 main priorities: - HORIZONTAL: Sustainable investment, performance and efficiency in education and training. - YOUTH: Promoting entrepreneurship education and social entrepreneurship among young people. ORGANIZATIONSTRAKYA UNIVERSITY Entrepreneurship Application and Research Centre aimed at performing applications and research studies on entrepreneurship and publish articles related to entrepreneurship, to examine the culture of entrepreneurship in Turkey, to analyze the essential circumstances and the problems related to these circumstances, to develop solution recommendations, to build an archive, a library and case data for the development of entrepreneurship and to help to organize conferences, seminars and courses on entrepreneurship.LEGACOOP PUGLIA represent about 500 cooperative enterprises, operating in varous sectors of activities (agriculture, traditional and innovative services, construction, social field, cultural field) through the entire region to promote the development of cooperation and mutual aid and the relationships between members ANIMAM VIVENTEM promotes the welfare of people, intervening at a psychosocial and educational level. We intend to promote balanced and sustainable social development, developing projects and actions of local interest, and projecting them into an European dimension.FUNDACIÓN CV PACTO EMPLEO VALENCIA (FCVPE) was created in 2005 by the City Hall of Valencia in agreement with the main social and public institutions of the Region of Valencia: The main target of FCVPE is supporting people with fewer opportunities, providing them with jobs, training and labour insertion. ACTIVITIES The activities performed during the project were divided in Work Packages: WP1 - Project Management and Coordination. Including 3 Transnational project meetings (Turkey, Italy, Spain). WP2 - Mapping, research activities and exchange of good practices. Including a short-term joint staff event in Spain. WP3 - Monitoring, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance. WP4 - Dissemination and Exploitation of results. RESULTS The project, based on the exchange of good practices, produced this main result: - 2 reports for the National Agency; - Report on research;- Training course - Project website; - Newsletters; - Press releases; - Communication campaigns on social networks; IMPACTSThis project allowed directly or indirectly to:- increase cooperation (institutional relationship), using experience and consultation from other EU28+ countries;- increase reciprocity, as the partnership is built on a basis of equality, all partners will benefit from the project;- increase competences enhancement at the institutional level in terms of project management, learning methodologies, communication, evaluation, dissemination and exploitation of results;- increase ability for every partner to work with organisations they did not know before;- acquisition of a European sense of belonging and improved communitarian mind-set.Outside the participating organizations the project activities and outputs have been shared with relevant stakeholders (other NGOs, education bodies, public authorities, private companies). Looking at the partner countries, three of them have high Early Leaving Rate (ESL) rate (Italy, Turkey and Spain), whereas the partnership is also participated by Germany in which the educative system is working in a good way given that it has enviable indicators related to ESL rates. Moreover, the fight against ESL phenomenon is one of the main objectives for the Erasmus + programme. The general improvement of education in all of the EU regions is an obligation for all state members, as mechanism to increase the levels of social conditions that provide to have a good trainind and educative background. The general objective ot this project is contributing to reduce, as much as possible, the ESL rate, initially in the country partners of CEPAE and, lately, in all over European Regionas thanks to the disseminating activities foresee that will have a strong impact.CEPAE contemplates the participation of two target groups in a double strategy:- Botton-up strategy, involving some students through their participantion in an intervention model based on coaching that will produce the outpunt O2 - Coaching Guide. It will be a guide to be used by other institutions for adopting and implementing the model, as well as containing a set of best practices that target to improvie the availiability of tools and ideas that could be helful in the fight agains ESL at European Scope. Directly participaton of 60 students is foresse and also and indirect impact over 800 students through the educators who will participate in the project. - Top-botton strategy, involving the educators who are working with potential early leavers, in the implementation of the coaching intervention model as much as in the final product product O3 - Cooperation on line platform, on which the educators will interact to improve the availability of tools related to the fight against ESL. This platform wil be working for five years more after then end of the project, as part of the agreements that the partnership will sign with FCVPE. We estimate that 40 educators will be directly involved in the implementation of the project and 120 will be indirectly involved.Foresee activities in the project consider a double strategic methodology:- Theoric methodology, focused on the theorical analysis of risk factors that explain the ESL phenomenon in the partner countries. analysis of available statistics and elaboration of the student profile with propension to become into a early lyver. The target is supporting the educatoris with tools to identify potential early leavers.- Practical methodology, focused on the implementation of a coaching intervention modelthat will be implemented by the Italian, Turkish and Spanish partners with the aim of testing its efectivity and sharing it, through the disseminating tools proposed, with all European Educative institutions by using the product O2 - Coaching Guide which will containt the main guidelines to adopt the model. The most important final results of the project are:- Early leavers profile, to identify them and being able to anticipate to their ESL.- Coaching Intervention Model which will be adaptable to any educative institution at European scope.- Improvement of the quality of educators and trainers of schools in which there is a high ESL rate, thanks to the Cooperation on line Platform that will be enriched with the collaboration of these educators. So we will produce tools that will be useful and trasnferable to the frame of the fight against ESL.Finally, thanks to the local, regional, national and European partners, it is foresse that all products and final results will have a big impact at any of the already mentioned scopes, through the disseminating activities proposed. It looks quite reasonable to think that the project will be useful in long-term because it aims to provide the educative system with additional and innovative tools that will improve the rates of ESL. If the intervention model foresee is a success, and we are sure about this, it will be adopted by the wider educative community.

This was achieved thanks by a project of exchange of good practices among partners involved in, in particular throughout the following actions:1) Mapping and comparative studies related to experiences in educational proposals, non-formal and informal, about food waste issue and social inclusion of minorities and migrants;2) Survey about educational needs, involving educators and trainers and adults between 35 and 50 years.3) Definition of the training a training module with specific materials for educators and for adult learners. 4) Implementation of a pilot training programme for educators tested at transnational level;5) Realization of training programme for adults’ groups tested through a blended mobility;6) Implementation of the tools of dissemination and transfer of results;7) Creation of an interactive project website, containing some downloadable tools, online resources, links to main events, project’s activities and outputs. The project targeted adult educators and adult learners, especially people with fever opportunities, to raise awareness about food theme. Additional target groups were: civil society organisations, associations, communities and networks (we involved their representatives and staff in the initial analysis aimed at defining the needs of education, training, awareness), and press and media at local, regional and national levels, involved in dissemination of the project activities, visibility to direct beneficiaries, and project sustainability.Learning about the concept of #foodculture, that mixed the concept of food waste prevention with the concept of food for inclusion, referring to the food emergency for the vulnerable target groups, the learners were trained not only in the field of possible strategies for food waste prevention, but also in dealing with food collections and donations, initiatives to promote inclusion and intercultural approach through food, etc.The project activities let the consortium to involve these categories into a learning path for the acquisition of knowledge and new skills, cross-referring competences, which can provide opportunities for higher learning and employment. The project encouraged the exchange of new approaches to address social, ethnic, linguistic and cultural diversity for inclusion. Through various activities we have supported adult learners, coming from marginalized communities, to combat discrimination, promoting the integration in social and economic system, in particular for the sector of food and restauration, and, at the same time, involved adult learners in creating the pre-conditions for active involvement in inclusion and food waste prevention. The issue of food education and food waste prevention is one of the main challenges in all European countries. There are several initiatives that the different States and International Organizations implement to raise awareness on a more correct use of food resources. The activities carried on by the project Consortium has been complementary, in terms of education, awareness raising and active contribution to the implementation of programs for food waste prevention in the involved countries. The main objectives pursued were:a) cooperation between partners through the exchanges of good practices, ideas and concrete methods of non-formal education, at local and transnational level, for the dissemination of innovative practices aimed at developing #foodculture skills and positive attitudes for food waste reduction and for promotion of social inclusion of minorities and migrants through food.b) consolidation of educators’ competences: support effective approaches to #foodculture for adult learners, with different level of studies, social and cultural background.c) development and implementation of #foodculture activities with adult learners, including immigrants and refugees.Comprehensively, for the target groups, including educators from professional world and adult people, the project produced the following main impacts: i. More attention and pro-active practices relating to food issue and social inclusion in critical contexts; ii. More active participation in civil society.Staff directly involved in training and testing activities had the opportunity to improve their training tools, innovative educational methodologies, non-formal approaches and involvement.Learners had the opportunity to develop most of all, skills referred to paying attention and pro-active practices relating to food issue and food waste, creation of opportunities to social inclusion, more active participation in society.

EUROSUCCESS CONSULTING LIMITED,EUROPEAN INSTITUTE FOR LOCAL DEVELOPMENTFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2018-1-IT02-KA204-048143Funder Contribution: 202,625 EURAs consequence of “migration crisis” in Europe was emerging a relevant issue in working with adults citizens, referred to stereotypes and false perception of immigrants and refugees. The migration issues have common points in several EU countries interested by migration crisis/terroristic attacks: the transferability of the tools and methodologies used to define the model, together with the transferability of the same model - subject to verification of its adaptability - to other EU countries that have the same peculiarities that is, a considerable number of immigrants of Muslim religion and increasing phenomena of intolerance by local communities in their regard. Moreover, the pandemic caused a growing stigmatization of Asians and other ethnic groups all over the world (Noel 2020).The intercultural dimension of living is an issue to be addressed at least at European level, especially for those countries more interested by migrations and who are facing local movements based on discrimination behaviors. While the refugee and migrant crisis is an existential problem for Europe, it is also a huge opportunity. The way it is handled will critically impact not only the future direction of Europe, but also its identity — the European ethos — economics, demographics and indeed culture.Cultural Crossroads project has been focused on 1) preventing and combating xenophobia and anti-migrant hatred, through activities creating better understanding between communities, including interreligious and intercultural activities, 2) developing capacity building of educators and professionals, 3) and building in-community coalitions. Objectives of the project were:i)implement knowledge and develop skills from trainers, educators, professionals, civil society organizations and targeted communities in relation to phenomena of discrimination and other forms of intolerance such as Islamophobia;ii)transfer and adapt to different national contexts instruments, measures and educational activities that are effective in dealing with racism and other forms of intoleranceiii)implement integration strategies that, in addition to structural elements such as home, schools, work and training, take into account cultural and religious variables.Main target groups of the project have been:-Multi-sector Operators: social workers, intercultural mediators, educators, psychologists, sociologists, intercultural and interreligious operators-direct beneficiaries as immigrants and refugees and people in the hosting countries,-regional stakeholders: representatives of local, immigrants and cultural communities, educators and trainers, local / regional / national authorities.Starting with Research and Surveying, the project results have been:1)set cooperation networks to implement knowledge and develop skills from public authorities, professionals, civil society organizations and targeted communities in relation to phenomena of discrimination and other forms of intolerance such as Islamophobia2)designed, tested and validated a Cultural Crossroads Model, as a toolkit that provides guidelines, materials and activities suggestions for the implementation of intercultural activities aimed at promoting meeting, discussion, stereotypes’ prevention referring to mixed users - immigrants/refugees and local citizens -, through flexible activities in the fields of arts, music, food, sport, active citizenship and communities’ activation/organization.

EU Member States have addressed the issue of young NEETs establishing the Youth Guarantee Program (YG), to ensure the employability of young people under the age of 24.This guarantee system assigns an important role to vocational guidance. The project “ECVET and OER based assessment and training of guidance practitioners working with NEETs” - ECVET.OER.NEET developed innovative methodologies and tools to enable guidance practitioners which carry out activities under the new EU Program YG to work effectively with young NEETs.The project defined the competence profile of the guidance practitioner working with NEETs, the Devise for the validation of skills acquired in formal, non-formal and informal contexts, in connection with ECVET principles, and produced an OER, in addition to the repertoire of OER used for the orientation of the NEET and a report of training needs analysis. Two training courses, face to face and in e-learning, has been described and tested. The project consortium is composed by 8 organizations from 5 EU countries that assist young NEETs in different ways in the context of YG: 2 training and employment agencies, 4 public authorities, 1 private organization dealing career guidance services, 1 University. They promoted the use, test and implementation of ECVET by applying it to the qualification of the guidance practitioners working with NEETs. The eight organizations work in different countries and in diverse settings; ECVET has been the common term of reference (a common language) to describe what they did and standardize their training and assessment methodologies for guidance practitioners working with NEETs.
