While one group have to adapt to the conditions of a new country the other group have difficulty in understanding the traumas in the lives of newcomers. To learn the level of harmony between native and foreign students at high school level, we conducted a survey for both of them in our school and province. As the result, foreign students stated that they were discriminated against, had difficulty in communicating with their peers, faced racism and bullying. Most of the native students also felt uncomfortable living together with their foreign friends and had a negative point of view towards them. It’s clear that these problems affect classroom athmosphere, interrupt teaching, distract students and affect learning process. Therefore, we intend to decrease the problems of socially excluded refugees and prevent their intention to early school leaving. We will also create an awareness about diversity and non-discrimination and tackle discrimination, segregation and racism by including refugee and native students together to the mobilities and project activities at school. We especially have established a partnership countries which host refugees and they have the similar problems. We will arrange activities to promote the integration of refugees, asylum seekers and newly arrived migrants and raise awareness about the refugee crisis in our partner countries. Our main objective in this project is to contribute to finding solutions to adaptation problems between domestic and immgirant/refugee high school students. We offer the unifying power of fine arts to dissolve differences in a common pot. We all know that art doesn’t have any specific religion, language or race. It doesn’t belong to any class or country but to the humanity. Thus we will organize art events where native and foreign students will spend time, work and enjoy themselves together . What they produce in the end will be all of theirs, of migrant backgrounds and native ones.We are planning to engage in immigrant/refugee and local students by using the unifying power of fine arts. In this way, we want to contribute to raising a youth that is free from prejudices, conscious about discrimination, has a sense of empathy and sees solidarity between cultures and races as wealth. While carrying out cultural interaction, we aim to increase school attendance and success and improve foreign language and communication skills of all our students by benefiting from the opportunities of technology . Our planned activities will help us achieve all these goals. Each participating country will have an important share in achieving the goals we want to reach by planning local and international events . Each partner country will play a role in the realization of our goals by using the most appropriate art branch for its culture and experience. Domestic and foreign students will take part together in all activities. Most of the participants in our project come fromlow income families and they have not been abroad before. They are all eager to take part in activities and we are planning to include about 250 students in this category to local and internatonal activities. There will be 2 mobilities in the 1st year and 3 mobilities in the 2nd year. Our planned activities are;DRAMA PLAYSStone WorkshopPandomim&MasquaradeFunny School Play Different Colours at ClassroomMUSIC Choir of United Colours‘Different Colours same rhythmPAINTING&PHOTOGRAPHY&CINEMAIf I were in your shoesStand Against SegregationUnited Digital World E-Magazine:Raising National and International Awareness It will be the coordinator's responsibility to check that all the partners can receive and respond the messages on time. Each school's project team will be responsible for all activites and preparations. There will be presentations about the host country's culture, traditions, life styles, language, food, currency, etc. before the mobilities and the students and teachers will be informed about them. The English teachers will also suggest some websites for them to develop their English. The coordinator will be responsible to check how our project is performing in relation to its aims and the workplan and allow partners to form their own judgements which can then be used as the basis for discussion. Specific examples an evaluation report will be prepared. We will take steps towards addressing any areas of weakness. We strongly believe that our project will contribute added-value to general education in locally and nationally in all countries. According to our plan, the project results will be sustainable after the end of project. For long-term benefits, other schools will directly and indirectly benefit from our project results. Our project website will be stay open when we finish the activities.

We have decided to make our activities in order to find solutions to our needs. We have understood the importance of education and employment which is related in a part of the Declaration of Paris, 2015 and we have arranged the activities according to it. The life conditions didn't let us achieve our goals in education completely. So with this project our teachers have had the chance to see their students as real European citizens. The activities which had been hold in our school and during the transnational meetings have changed the teachers' negative aspects into positive ones concerning education and have increased their personal motivation at teaching. In the project, we led our teachers to be more willing about making their careers more creative and more professional, more attractive and innovative in their teaching methods. With the project activities and international project meetings, our teachers have enhanced their professional development. With the help of this project, we have supported them in dealing with diversity in the classroom. When the teachers used to meet in different countries, it has been very easy to adopt collaborative and innovative practises. This helped the teachers to determine their role in the school as leaders, and strenghtened their leadership. The project let teachers express themselves and their new approaches freely. They have discussed new approaches on thier lectures, also how to adopt them to their lectures. We were five partners in this project and we had common issues which joined us up. All participants had nearly the same school level and similar problems about the project topic. In the activities part, the dates and the subjects we have studied have been done in detail. We had 5 Ltts and 5 TPMs during the project. The teachers had been aware of the importance of improving themselves in their careers. And they have met different cultures abroad. Our students have realised their innovative and creative aspects and they have also had the opportunity of meeting foreign students from different countries by travelling abroad. So, the participants and the people they met will unfold their horizons while their interaction which started2 years ago it is still going on. We planned our project for 24 months. All of the activities were prepared in a way that participant schools would have integrated all of them. The partner schools' roles in the project have been equally important. The project activities have been done regularly according to their importance and some activities were repeated so that they could become lifestyles. One of the most important part of our project was sustaining equality in education among the students. Our priorities in our project were; exchanging students in short-term, LTTs helped them in developing group work skills, sharing, learning cultures, respecting the others, using technology in daily life.Gathering students and teachers from different cultures, has improved their perspectives about life finding solutions to different problems in their life.

In 2015, the Paris Declaration signed bu EU Education Ministers and the European Comission called for action at European, national, regional and local levels to reinforce the role of education in promoting citizenship and the common values of freedom, tolerance and non-discrimination. There is a strong relation between citizenship and democracy. If we want a democracy which functions well, we must have citizens with the necessary competences to think and act in a democratic way. It is obvious that citizenship cannot be thought only as creating citizens in a narrow and strictly national sense. Our main aims in this project are;1- Helping our students learn how to interact effectively, how to act in a socially responsible manner2- Developing their critical thinking3- Guiding them about caring community and taking responsibility to improve their environment4- Respecting the authority like parents, teachers, police officers and local administrators5- Helping our students behave safely and participate responsibly online6- being a political literateThe participants in the project will be students between the age of 14-18, teachers, other school staff, families, public and public authorities. The coordinator will be responsible for checking that all the partners keep in touch and all the planned activities are done on time. There will be at least one teacher who will be permenant and involve constantly in the project and spread information promptly in his own school. Each school will have their project teams to communicate with the others regularly. Special activities will be organised in each school at the same time. They will upload their progress status on the project website. The project coordinator and all the staff participating in 4 schools will add new experiences they gained on the previous projects and improve their teaching and learning techniques. Furthermore, a strong link between participants will be established in order to convey the innovative competencies that will increase the confidence of students in their education and training success and to reduce the risk of school failure. Our tangible results will be to;-learn how to be critical, active and digital person-learn to be collaborative and of course participative-do their best to make their home, school and community a better place to live. -use the digital technology effectively-learn/respect different cultures, values, views, ways oflives and opinions-make the students learn their rights and responsibilities as citizens.-give them social and moral responsibility-participate in activities to serve the other members of the community-protect and support cultural heritageWith the help of this project, our students will be responsible and repectful, informed about the needs od their society. They will have digital skills. They will involve every step of democracy. They will also affect their community in a good way. Moreover, we believe that our acticvities will give them self-confidence and scocial skills development. They will have information about European Union and also lifestyle and education in partner countries. They will get information about other cultures and learn to respect them. They will make a strong frienship with other partners students. They wil be motivated to study foreign languages and other school subjects, too. They will also gain the skill of working in a team and have tolerance to other opinions. Involving in group activities and working in a friendly, cooperative and respectful atmosphere will motivate them to attend school regularly, and they will feel themselves as a part of school. By this way, we believe that we will contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the Europe 2020 strategy."
