The assumptions of the project were developed as a response to the problems faced by employees working for the social sector in the institutions run by the Eldership in Oświęcim. There are no uniform documents in Poland, which are required by the Act of 9 June 2011 to support the family and the foster care system. Each employee is individually responsible for developing them. The selection of transnational partners aims to jointly develop document standards based on British and Irish experience, which are very broad in this respect. The whole assumptions of the project developed jointly by 3 partners (Powiatowe Centrum Pomocy Rodzinie iw Oświęcimiu, Uk Butterflies and Edu Smart Training Centre Limited) and each of them plays an important role in the partnership. The project assumptions were planned together and the process of preparing both the action plan and diagnosing the needs and detailed analysis of the problematic situation was conducted in close cooperation. The main goal of the project is to adapt the method of working with families which are at risk of social exclusion. FAMILY STAR, which is used by employees of the social care sector in England and Ireland. This method is completely unknown in Poland and other countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The project assumes enabling its implementation and development of a universal set of tools along with a manual for their use. The main assumption of the project is the emphasis on raising the professional competences of people working in the social care sector. This will help them to support families having difficulties in properly fulfilling the care and educational function. As part of the project, the following results of intellectual work will be established: 1. Standard of professional competence for social workers, family assistants and family coordinators 2. Tools for performing professional tasks by social workers - FAMILY STAR program 3. Guide and instructions for social workers on how to work with the family using the FAMILY STAR tools 20 people will be invited to the testing phase of the results of intellectual work. They will take part in three educational workshops organised in Bradford. The last scheduled phase of the project implementation will be dissemination activities, within which the following are planned: - Seminar disseminating the results of intellectual work in Bradford. - Seminar disseminating the results of intellectual work in Wicklow. - Conference disseminating the results of intellectual work in Oświęcim. The project assumes working out universal results at least on a European scale.

The project was created on the basis of the need and with the aim of realizing exchange of experience, good practice and strengthening of cooperation between organizations from three countries ie Czech Republic, Poland and Germany. These organizations are active in integrating people with disabilities into society, especially in their vocational education, training and employment. In order to meet the main objective of the project, the following activities were carried out: 1) six thematic workshops and continuous cooperation through a web platform to facilitate exchange of good practice, know-how, methods and forms of work with people with disadvantages for at least 30 experts from partner organizations and countries involved, 2) four hospitality visits to enable these experts to have a look at the specific day-to-day practices of their colleagues in specific area; 3) a total of eight exchange practices where disabled people and their assistants have the opportunity to test specific activities using different working methods and teamwork in individual partner organizations and countries; 4) to create three training manuals that form part of the work-education system of the disabled person preparing for the application in work and personal life, 5) to process and submit a successful application for a follow-up project on KA2, which will allow the partners to start up next cooperation, 6) to implement the final conference on which the activities and outputs of the project were presented. Participation in specific activities of the project contributed to strengthening social, personal and work competencies of individual participants, ie not only disabled people, but also experts who, besides transferring good practice and exchange of experience, gained new knowledge that they could apply to their practice. There has also been a strengthening and development of individual organizations, for example, when organizing individual events with international participation and sending participants to another country. An important aspect is to raise awareness of the European Union's support for international cooperation and the exchange of experience between organizations working to promote disadvantaged people.

The main aim of the project is to adapt four British methods of working with youth at risk of social exclusion and to enable their implementation in Poland and other European countries. As part of the project, a training program will be developed for each method, serving to equip users with knowledge about the method and competences enabling their use in the work environment. The methods that are the subject of the presented project will be validated during the daily work of therapists, educators, teachers and youth workers. The whole project assumptions were developed jointly by 3 partners (Powiatowe Centrum Pomocy Rodzinie w Oświęcimiu, Uk Butterflies and Fundacja Edukacji, Rozwoju i Innowacji) and each of them plays an important role in partnership. The project assumptions were planned together and the process of preparing both the action plan and diagnosing the needs and detailed analysis of the problematic situation was conducted in close cooperation. In United Kingdom , the Transnational Partner (UK Butterflies) implements many methods that can be successfully adapted to Polish realities and needs. Several of them have already been used in the work of institutions run by the Poviat Eldership in Oświęcim - among others by the Poviat Family Help Center in Oświęcim. Since the implementation of British methods in the daily work with youth turned out to be accurate, at the stage of preparing the aims of the presented project, further training needs of the Projector's staff were examined and four further methods were selected that will be adapted for implementation in Poland: - SELF - STARTING, - CALMFULNESS (relaxation techniques, mindfulness, breathing in psychotherapy, Sedona method), - TIC-TAC (healthy relationships), - BE SMART As a part of the project, the following results of intellectual work will be elaborated: 1 Model scenario of working with you- SELF-STARTING 2 Model scenario of working with youth - '' CALMFULNESS '' RELAXATION TECHNIQUES 3 Model scenario of working with youth - TIC-TAC 4 Model scenario of working with youth - BE SMART. 12 people will be invited to the testing phase of the elaborated results of intellectual work. They will take part in four educational workshops organised in Bradford (each workshop will concern one method). The last scheduled phase of the project implementation will be dissemination activities, within which the following are planned: - Seminar disseminating the results of intellectual work in Bradford, - A conference popularising the results of intellectual work in Oświęcim. The project assumes working out universal results at least on a European scale.

This is a follow-up project that extends and continues the activities initiated in the previous E.B.A.M.B. project. Its implementation analysed the need for further cooperation of experts and people with disabilities from partner organisations. The main objective of the project was to exchange experiences, examples of good practice and to strengthen cooperation between organisations from the three partner countries dealing with the integration of people with disabilities, including in the field of training and job training. To meet the main objective, the following activities were undertaken:1) Three thematic workshops, which involved 26 experts, assistants of people with disabilities, with the aim of transferring good practice, expertise, knowledge, methods and forms of working with people with disabilities to train and train them for employment in each partner organisation.2) Two hospitals/traineeships attended by 13 experts, assistants to people with disabilities in the organisation of German partner Lebenshilfe Gardelegen to gain practical insights into the activities of their colleagues in the organisation and field, directly in the workplace and in addressing specific tasks.(3) Seven exchange practices involving 53 people with disabilities, which, together with their assistants, had the opportunity to virtually verify the performance of joint team tasks and measure their performance against colleagues from partner organisations. Activities aimed at strengthening and developing personal, occupational and social competences and also served to verify the methods used and the knowledge gained.(4) Three new teaching manuals have been developed as part of the work-education system for specific activities related to preparing for the work and housing of people with disabilities.(5) A final conference was held to present to the professional public, partly online, the project's ongoing activities, outputs and benefits for the organisations involved and the participants themselves, i.e. people with disabilities as well as their assistants/experts in the field of work preparation. The main impact of the project for people with disabilities lies precisely in the possibility of sharing their own experiences and comparing them with colleagues from partner organisations, personal participation in the preparation and conduct of the project activities, and the process itself of preparing and then travelling and staying in another country. The greatest benefits for professionals were identified in the possibility of obtaining feedback on daily work routines, transferring specific methods and good practice from colleagues in partner organisations who, despite geographical proximity, different legal, systemic conditions, different methods and procedures, work with the same target group of people with disabilities. The impact on the partner organisations involved is evident in the mutual inspiration to realise other investment intentions and to develop the activities of organisations towards fulfilling their missions.

In a two-year project, seven partners from six European countries will exchange their experiences and develop transferable solutions and new strategies under the theme “Future viability of families in European rural areas”.The rural areas of Europe and the regions involved in the project are exposed to risky change: economic decline, lack of jobs and development prospects, as well as the increasing loss of services, education and cultural offerings are causing steady emigration, especially of young women. Demographic change is also leading to an aging population, threatened by mobility and health care deficits as well as social isolation. This could lead to entire regions being undocked from general development. To keep people in the region and to motivate others to move in prospectively, the project aims to strengthen the compatibility of family and work as a location factor and thus contributing to greater equal opportunities in rural areas despite geographical obstacles.Bridging the gap between politics, administration and business, the project bundles a wide variety of European experiences: transferable solutions of the partners will be identified and new strategies developed to promote equal participation, self-determination and equality of people in professional and social life. Local decision-makers will be empowered to find flexible political measures and local solutions to keep the population (especially workers and families) in the region. In addition, business-related actors will be involved in the project. Furthermore, a goal-oriented cooperation between municipalities and companies will be initiated and supported. Our project goals are:1.Sustainable strengthening of family friendliness as a central challenge of the future and an important location factor in rural regions of Europe2.Analysis and documentation of similarities and differences in the partner regions as well as exchange of good ideas, methods and practices3.Establishing and strengthening of regional networks for the compatibility of family and work as well as the establishment of a European network4.Development, expansion and updating of competencies to strengthen the location factor family friendliness (for municipalities, companies etc.)5.Setting new impulses for the compatibility of family and work in order to counteract the shortage of skilled workers and demographic change6.Improving cooperation between companies and municipalities, acting together and utilizing development potential (family friendliness as a cross-sectional Task)The achievement of goals can be measured based on the following results and success factors:1.Gaining knowledge through the Europe-wide exchange of experiences2.Best practice catalog for a successful work-life balance (in English and national language)3.Strategy for raising awareness of the compatibility of family and work (in English and the national language)4.Implementation of individual measures at companies/municipalities by at least 2 project partners to improve the compatibility of family and work5.Active public relations (classic media work, presence in social networks)6.European added value: transnational problem solving by bundling transnational expert knowledge (project team, other stakeholders), common European identity through transnational project work and building a European network
