The changes and dynamics in the public life in the 21st century impose the need of a rapid adaptation of the educational sphere. The three schools share the conviction that in order to become active, informed and responsible participants in the society, students have to acquire knowledge and understanding of basic concepts such as democracy, citizenship, human rights, equality and non-discrimination throughout their school life. We also stand behind the opinion that teachers should constantly improve their competences and adapt to the fast-paced changing educational realities in terms of new innovative teaching methods and approaches. The main objective of the project is the acquirement of social and civic by the students along with the exchange of experience and good practices between teachers that can contribute to the subsequent development of suitable methods for civic education in schools and improvement of the teaching quality by integrating active learning approaches. The realisation of the project also aims to: increase the capacity and the experience of the participants in project management; strengthen the profile of the teaching profession by supporting teachers to deliver high quality education and adopt new methods and tools; increase the transnational engagement and better understanding of the European dimension of education.Three teachers and 5 students from each participating school will participate in the project. They will be selected according to a jointly pre-defined selection criteria. We envisage the realisation of three transnational LTT events during which different topics will be treated – democracy, human rights and equality and non-discrimination.The envisaged activities in the project will take the form of presentations, demonstrations, role-plays, individual and group tasks, simulations, group discussions, brainstorming, mind maps, etc. Students will have the opportunity to take initiative, present their ideas, resolve emerging problems in concrete situations, deal with information, present the outcomes of their researches. The expected results of the project are the following:- acquirement of social and civic competences, gaining in-depth understanding of human rights and the need to be respected, as well as developing a sense of responsibility and a feel of belonging to a community in order for students to be prepared to actively participate and be involved in the democratic life of their countries.;- teachers exchange of best practices with foreign colleagues, share and discussion of ideas, observation of different teaching approaches;- establishment of a transnational cooperation, creation and deepening of partnerships. Long-term impact:- integration of innovative teaching methods and approaches in the teaching practice;- development of strategies to promote core democratic values, respect, acceptance, tolerance, equality while delivering lessons in teacher’s subject areas.

The project HEALTHY-TOWN was designed and implemented by four schools of different realities (rural, urban) of the European Union: Spain, France (Reunion Island), Poland and Finland. The project has fully influenced on the schools and the main topics of the project: students' and educational community's healthy habits. The following project objectives have been achieved: 1. Teachers, students and the educational community have acquired new healthy habits to improve their quality of life: Sport practice and self-awareness of nutrition has increased.2. Thanks to English as a vehicular language, linguistic competence has been improved, and not only in the English language, but with all the languages of the project.3. New technologies (such as mobile phones) have been used for educational purposes (APP created for the project)4. Students have experienced sporting challenges as a way to improve self-esteem, especially those who did not believe they were able to pass certain tests, and that all have finally achieved.5. The largest possible number of the educational community has been involved in theproject development. Thanks to HEALTHY TOWN, students have taken part in some sporting events adapted to their level, and have managed to overcome these inclusive sport challenges.Reaching a HEALTHY-TOWN (an imaginary place) has been a sporting challenge for students and at the same time a great opportunity to overcome other situations in daily life.Preparing challenges has meant improving and mastering ICT tools, technology and English language to create products and results (presentation, etc.) related to the challenges and matters related to the project. All the sporting challenges have been conducted during the school members' visits, and in each country a SPORT CHALLENGE in cooperation and collaboration with all the partners has been achieved. They have faced (successfully) positive and negative emotions, while they have been guided to overcome this challenge. All project activities will remain in the school curriculum after the end of the end of the project

This project, entitled HEALTHY MIND, HEALTHY LEARNERS, was created by four partner schools from different parts and realities (rural/urban) of the European Union (Spain [Catalonia], France [Reunion Island], Italy and Lithuania). The selected partners represent the diversity of school education sectors and the countries having different educational traditions, and different kinds of contexts. All the partners have a lot of experience of teaching healthy habits and sportive activities working with their national issues. All partners have a common goal: help our students at school and outside to feel good in their mind and their body. In fact, today's young generations are faced more or less with the same difficulties or bad habits. And that's why we want to focus on three main topics: Mental Health (and Emotional Education), Nutrition, and Exercise (Physical or Sportive activities). To achieve the aims of this project, it is necessary: -to develop good practises regarding emotions and feelings. Tips to feel more self-confident and easy exercises to relax.-to learn more about the importance of having good eating habits. It is the recipe for longevity and to keep the doctor away as much as possible.-to move and exercise regularly, as a way to relieve the pressure felt during the day and increase a feeling of well-being.If these three goals are reached, a great number of people will feel the difference and we will be able to say that we have contributed to the well-being of these Erasmus participantsConsidering this questions objectives of project will be: 1. To increase the number of students practicing physical activity in all partners schools .2. To participate in almost 3 sport events or healthy activities organised all over Europe (in their school, or local community or sport European events) in order to be aware of how important is to keep students healthy and well.3. To promote psychosocial well-being of students through sport and physical activity (increase students levels of self-esteem, or the ability to feel positive about oneself, one’s body and physical abilities)4. To improve healthy food habits, and reduce obesity in our school5. To improve inclusion and create new opportunities to integrate those from under-privileged or marginalized groups in society6. To learn using correctly ICT tools / , mobile with educational intentionWe can see that either one sport experience or healthy activity is a great opportunity for students to improve their healthy habits. This activty helps them to overcome other situations in daily life.Throughout the project different healthy activities and sports experiences will be proposed by teachers in order to practice them. Students must prepare themselves in order to practice this experience or challenge (healthy habits, training, nutrition…) and create also products, such as a presentation, a multimedia show, or some other form of alternative assessment, or other products (this helps students have a better understanding, and this information will be shared with the other members of the classroom and partners).Other skills will be mastered thanks to this project: ICT tools, oral presentation in front of an international audience, sociability, organisation, planning. The mission of the participants will also be to share what they have discovered or learnt with their peers back at school. The project website will be linked to the school website so that the school communities and anyone interested can easily follow the project. As the official language is English, our students will definitely improve their linguistic skills as they will need to communicate throughout the two years of the project and they will also learn easy expressions in other languages. They will then receive a Europass to attest their participation in an Erasmus mobility as well as a Passport of language for their level reached in the target language (here English). This will be very useful for their further studies or even job application. As the main objective of the project is an exchange of good practises, we will all learn from each other, at different levels. Indeed, as we come from different European countries, the school organisation and management may differ from one country to another. As we have already experienced in former projects, we try to deal with student inclusion, truancy, special need students as well as we can, and it is always worthwhile to know about other ways of managing these issues. If we promote healthy habits from different points of view (physically, mentally and emotionally) our students will be able to face everyday situations in a proper manner an be better European citizens.

Each country has its history and with this project we would like to share two passions: hiking and exile routes. In Spain, after the Civil War, thousands of people had to immigrate in order to escape from it. Almost 800.000 people crossed the borders to exile from Spain to France. In the case of Portugal, history was lead along the Tagus River and the Almourol Castle, where important historical events happened. If we talk about France, an example to connect history to walking is shown by Aimé Cesaire, who helped artists and intellectuals to cross the Absalon’s Forest in 1941 to escape from Vichy’s Regime and nazis by boat to New York. In Greece, in order to express feelings of peace pilgrims walked up until the top of Crete mountain where there was a small church. There they light candles to pray. Last but not least, in Estonia the Soontagana Castle and today’s Kurese Hiking Trail were used as a refuge for Estonians for many centuries and in different wars. Each country has chosen a representative path to explore these Exile Routes and they are going to be linked with curricular contents. As nowadays we can do all these pathways like trekking routes, as a part of important European cultural heritage our students will learn from past to present by doing exercise. In this project, both students and teachers will share the experience of participating in trekkings with the partner institutions and their local communities, and at the same time, they will practise different languages (English and national languages) and work on ICT skills about hiking contents. In this project schools will achieve these objectives:1.To practice one trekking in each country related to an historical event in each territory2. To involve students in outdoor activities, as well as respect for cultural heritage and historical and natural knowledge3. To improve students skills related to ICT tools and language competence (especially in English)4. To increase the acquisition of healthy habits5. To overcome any disadvantage (cultural, social or economical) and face problems like bullying or early school leaving, making possible social inclusion of all students6. To link history and current way of life by engaging them with the pastThanks to this project all schools can share their cultures, experience and learn from each other, using hiking ways as a framework. Appart, social inclusion will be a main priority, as some of the students participating have difficulties in being integrated in a educational environment. The language used during all the partnership will be English, although national languages can be promoted too. The last thing teachers would like to link in this project is that from the past, knowing, appreciating and understanding is the best way to avoid wars or European conflicts from the present or future (refugees from the Mediterranean, migration, Syria’s war…). All educational community will be able to participate in this project: hiking clubs, museums, town halls, sportive clubs, or excursion teams as well. All trekkings will need to be planned and involve research and preparation, but always adapted to all students to grant a possible succes for them. The methodology ways of the project will be done by: COLLABORATIVE work (TEAM WORK in each school and common activities will be developed through ICT, E-twinning or online platforms ), LEARNING BY DOING (facing hiking through SEARCHING/SOLVING/CREATING/SHARING models) and PROBLEM-SOLVING tasks (bad weather, bike breakdowns, people giving wrong directions, understanding/speaking languages, etc... in any such situation and groups will work together to solve these unexpected situations). All work of this project, as well as the exchange of students and teachers, will be combined with cooperation through eTwinning to ensure cohesion and coherence of the activities and to learn, communicate and develop the project in a cooperative way. There will be a connection of the KA229 project with the previous or ongoing eTwinning projects, and the use of eTwinning will be combined with the mobility of students and teachers from different countries using twinspace online meetings, chats, and project cooperation. The project will have a sustainable and multiplier effect impact because their results will be disseminated and used once the project will be finished, like: 1. Alll kind of presentations and products , Social media channels or Etwinning project; 2. All project activities and content (integrated in curricula or Innovativing teaching methods), Activities related to Cultural Heritage, New knowledge and concepts related to curriculum of different subjects related to the project;3. Historical routes and hiking of each country will be interesting for hiking clubs, town halls or other educational alongside in Europe too. With this project, we expect to learn from past to future in order to make students be aware of their possibilities to lead to a better Europe.

"The context of the project:The technological developments in the 21st century have sparked a great deal of transformation in education. Especially, technologically equipped classrooms with smart boards enable all students to benefit from e-contents much more efficiently and effectively. Students' devices such as tablets, computers, laptops, smartphones, and e-readers also make them learn and practice the subjects again and again with the help of using them anytime and anywhere. So, the advantages of technological devices make learning more accessible and practical for students. The biggest advantage of Blended Learning Approach is that it offers the opportunity to use both digital technologies and face-to-face communication tools in the teaching process simultaneously. While students and teachers come together physically in traditional education; they can make use of various tests, subject reviews, exercises on the internet, apart from the classroom environment. Thus, a multi-faceted experience emerges from the combination of these two approaches. The motivation for the creation of this project was primarily the need for online education tools and applications integrated into English language teaching. In response to this need, it was decided that ""Blended Learning Approach"", which combines face-to-face education with online teaching tools, would be the most useful and most appropriate method for this project. The advantages of the devices with ease of transport and internet connection in reinforcing the subjects make mobile learning and face-to-face training complement each other. Thus, compared to traditional learning approaches, blended learning provides a learning model with superior features. The objectives of the project:After the impact of Covid-19, e-learning and technological devices have become more and more important in the education sector. So, today's newest and most popular approach is to combine traditional education methods with technology-supported materials or blended learning models. In this context, we want to take advantage of an effective blended learning model in our partner institutions for the objectives listed below:1.to plan blended lessons2.to manage distance education environments (Moodle)3.to make the lessons interesting and keep students motivated4.to monitor and evaluate learning6.to increase the knowledge/skills of teachers regarding digital education7.to integrate mobile devices into the lesson8.to use technology more effectively and safely9.to ensure the continuation of learning outside the classroom10.to exchange ideas while cooperating with European colleaguesThe number/profile of participants:“Blended Learning in English Language Teaching” brings 5 partners from Italy, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, and England forming a transnational cooperation partnership for the purpose of implementing the ""Blended Learning Approach"" in teaching English as a second language. Each partner school was chosen according to the importance they attach to teaching English and digital education. Their experience in eTwinning and Erasmus+ projects is also a priority for this project. The other institutions (Universidade Lusofona - Eurospeak Language Schools Ltd) have multi-competent teams with important experiences in the field of secondary school education, as well as teacher training, ICT and digital learning methodologies and tools. Each school will send 3 teachers to the joint-staff training events. These people are going to enhance their skills/competencies in digital platforms. The institutions, Universidade Lusofona and Eurospeak Language Schools Ltd. will assign 3 lecturers to give the seminars and courses related to the project content in these training events. So, teachers will learn how to make use of digital materials in their lessons during the process of the project. For the other LTTs (exchanges of groups of pupils), the partner schools will assign 5 students and 2 teachers to attend the transnational activities. Students are expected to improve their language skills through the online learning platform site: ""Moodle"". Partner institutions will also organize 3 face-to-face transnational project meetings to discuss the general issues of the project. They will send 3 persons for these events.Impact-long term benefits:Following the completion of the project, the partner schools will go on using Blended Learning Program in their ELT courses. They also plan to use the created methodological materials both on the ""Moodle"" platform and the project website to make them accessible to the visitors who want to learn and practice English on digital platforms. As ""Moodle"" is the most important and vital part of this project, all e-learning contents including audio-visual lessons, exercises, tests, revisions will be shared on this platform. The program will be created to meet the needs of each participating country, and the content of the site can be enriched by the partners"
