Reflecting on the European citizenship identity through engaging in EU knowledge and learning people from different EU countries and rural zones, could help the citizens to understand better the Union policy-making process and promote opportunities for societal and intercultural engagement, and participation at Union level.<< Implementation >>The partnership has planned activities at local/regional & European level which will help to get closer the rural people to the European idea, bridging the intercultural, intergenerational and social divide they're suffering. The rural citizens will be involved in thematic workshops, public debates, online seminars, video contest, multiplier events & drafting of Paper. The follow-up activities will ensure the continuous rural world engagement with democratic participation and active citizenship.<< Results >>Clubs4Europe will be a place where rural people from different parts of Europe can discuss, debate and plan their common EU idea. Rural citizens from 3 Member States will meet in Brussels, BE to visit the EU institutions and get to know different thematic topics on the debate for the future of Europe. The project will directly reach 300 rural people & approx. 3000 indirectly. All involved participants will increase their EU knowledge, competences, experience, perspectives, and personal networks.

For further information contact us at helpdesk@openaire.euassignment_turned_in ProjectPartners:Privatna predskolska ustanova Play, OTI SLOVAKIA, PD TuhobicPrivatna predskolska ustanova Play,OTI SLOVAKIA,PD TuhobicFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2021-2-HR01-KA210-SCH-000050918Funder Contribution: 60,000 EUR<< Objectives >>By implementing the project Green School (Zelena škola), we would like to achieve the following objectives:1) Teach children to appreciate nature and being outdoors 2) Demonstrate how appreciating nature can be done through documenting it digitally, and3) Develop green skills for teachers and children.The main objective is to raise European citizens who are aware of the environmental problems facing the world, who know how to solve these problems and who are environmentally conscious.<< Implementation >>The project Green School (Zelena škola) will implement the following activities:1) Locally, each partner will organise 3 hikes in different seasons in each country, involving 30 teachers and 60 chlidren each,2) Take pictures of 150 plants per partner, for a total of 450 plants3) Organise a 3-day LTTA for developing green skills in elementary and preschool teachers4) Compile a How-to guide on creating a digital herbarium5) Organise 2 in-person and 4 online transnational project meetings<< Results >>The project Green School (Zelena škola) expects to have the following results:1) Digital Herbarium in an easy-to-access format (450 entries)2) A How-to Guide on developing green skills3) A workable informal curriculum for teachers on green skills These results will make our target groups become individuals with high environmental awareness, consuming as much as their needs, sensitive to environmental problems, responsible and having European identity concerned with climate change.
