It is also the way to involve them in an accessible process of continuous learning to improve their skills, to optimize their role in the host community and to find a career path.In addition, online learning can be an effective and sustainable educational tool supporting volunteer tutors and supervisors. For these reasons, in 2018, we created an online platform (https://e-esc.eu/) in the context of KA1 Erasmus+ (3 mobility for youth educators). This platform attracted the interest of more than 800 volunteers who benefited from this tool. It continues to be co-managed by us and our Greek and Romanian partners. In order to continue to meet the needs of young volunteers of different capacities in terms of training, assistance, E-tutoring & networking, as well as the priorities of the European Solidarity Corps program, we would like to update this platform. This strategic project will further improve and structure the content of the platform, modernize and simplify learning methods and facilitate the networking of young volunteers. The access to dynamic online training will also be facilitated by involving experienced partners in volunteering actions and the creation of tools for volunteers. Our project consists of the following activities:1- A 2-day kick-off meeting in Strasbourg, where the person in charge of the project and the co-administrator of each partner organization will gather in order to determine the modalities and methods of implementation of the project, as well as the role to be assigned to each one. 2- Prepare and launch 2 research surveys: one aimed at detecting the specific needs of the beneficiaries of our online platform and future beneficiaries: ESC volunteers in terms of training & E-learning assistance. The additional survey will be launched towards host organizations in order to identify their needs in terms of support, training, coaching and mentoring of volunteers. This will allow us to better identify innovative methods to facilitate implementation and improve the quality of results and impact of their projects.3- Reorganize and restructure the existing E-courses et create a new ones based on survey results. We will introduce the 3M learning concept (Moodle using Micro-learning content) which is a new way of designing interactive and dynamic courses in modules, also accessible on mobile. We will also develop competence-based Learning (CBL), which means that e-learning courses will be built with the aim of developing competencies rather than simply knowledge. In this sense, volunteers can also choose the E-trainings that correspond to the skills they wish to develop.4- Creation E-tutorials & interactive videos for the E-courses of the platform.5- Creation of a map (GIS –geographical information system) which localizes the volunteers of the European Solidarity Corps, beneficiaries of the platform and allows to strengthen the connection between the volunteers, to monitor their activities and to allow the E-services Tutors in order to better understand the context of each volunteer’s activity and to provide the most appropriate support.6- Training for 15 e-mentors (5 per partner organization) in Strasbourg, France, in order to consolidate the skills of our current e-tutors of the platform, to modernize their methods & to train new e-tutors from our 3 organizations.7- Mild term evaluation meeting for 2 days in Strasbourg gathering the person in charge of the project from each partner.8- Creation of the user guide of the simple and attractive platform that facilitates access to the platform.9- Creation of the e-mentoring guide for the platform.10- Experimentation of E-training & operation of the platform on a large scale with the support of e-tutors.11- Training in Greece of E-mentors who have benefited from the previous mobility to become multiplied E-tutors (Mentors of E-mentors).12- Dissemination events organized by each partner at national level in cooperation with the country’s National Agency to promote the platform (https://e-esc.eu/). 13- A final survey to measure the impacts of the project on host organizations and volunteers, benefits and areas for improvement.14- Evaluation meeting in Romania, which will involve the person in charge of the project, the co-administrator and an E-mentor of each partner. A cooperation plan will be designed with partners to ensure the sustainability of the platform.

Its overall contribution to theeconomy is close to 10% of the GDP of the European Union. However, European tourism faces manychallenges, starting with the need to constantly innovate and improve the quality of its services. Thesector must adapt quickly to the digital revolution, with its new marketing methods, onlinereservation, ... It must also develop new attractive products while being respectful of the localpopulation and the environment (EU Commission). At the same time, in a Europe in crisis, the youth unemployment rate averages 17.2% for those under25 years old. In Martinique, Bulgaria, and Greece the rates are even more alarming: respectively58.9% (INSEE), 25.90% and 46.5% (EU).However, Responsible Tourism, still a ""niche sector"", with a strong potential for development andboosting of the territories represents a source of jobs little exploited for young people. Based on thisanalysis, the consortium identified the following needs:- the impossibility of entering the labor market (increasingly competitive and demanding) without theacquisition of key skills- the difficulty of taking part in a training for young people leaving the formal education system- get out of precarious jobs and boost self-esteem- the lack of resources and tools for professionals facilitating the training and support of young peopletowards an entrepreneurial career- the virtual absence of data and analysis on Responsible Tourism (RT) opportunitiesSo, the project Take your chance, Go Responsible! wants, on one hand, to reinforce the keycompetencies and entrepreneurial knowledge of young people, in the RT through mentoring, nonformaleducation, e-permanence support, and e-commerce tutorials, and on the other hand provideto the professionals working in the field of youth, OER tools, and resources adapted to their needs. Inaddition, the consortium members will conduct research in their local contexts, in order to identifyemployment opportunities (through entrepreneurship) related to the TR and thus contribute to thedevelopment of favorable public policies.General objectives- Training young people far from employment and improve their key competencies andentrepreneurial skills in the TR;- Providing to the professionals working in the youth field, tools, and methodologies for training andsupporting young people in setting up micro-enterprises in the RT;- Promote the development of an environment conducive to the implementation of public policiesregarding entrepreneurship in the region.Specific objectives- Develop the entrepreneurial spirit among young people and thus contribute to the reduction ofunemployment- Facilitating youth learning through non-formal education by reducing geographical and learningdisparities- Promote the potential of ITCs in an entrepreneurial approach- Contribute to the development of the training offer and free educational resources for professionals- Facilitate the sharing and exchange of good practices between the private and public sector- Make professionals and politicians aware of RT opportunities as a response to youthunemployment- Promote a cross-sectoral and European network to facilitate the collection and analysis of data onyouth employment opportunities linked to the RTTarget groups- Disadvantaged young people, unemployed, NEET, young people targeted by national policies forprofessional inclusion.- Professionals working in the field of youth, socio-professional inclusion and tourism.- Institutional and private actors intervening in the field of youth, employment, social entrepreneurshipand Tourism (tourist offices, elected representatives, authorities ...)The consortium will pool its knowledge and experience to develop 6 complementary and accessibleOER tools in order to strengthen and develop the skills of youth workers, provide themmethodologies and thus promote youth entrepreneurship in the field of RT.The project is part of the EU 2020 strategy (employment, sustainable development, fight againstpoverty and exclusion) and the objectives of the KA2 youth sector program (Strengthen skills andemployability, foster inclusion, to develop transnational mobility). School dropout is a phenomenon mainly due to social imbalances, interactions between school and family culture, and the school itself and its educational systems. The International Student Assessment Program (PISA) surveys, which measure the effectiveness and performance of different education systems, highlight an increase in the gap in terms of chances of success among young people according to the social category of parents and socio-economic determinants. Martinique, by its insularity and ultra-peripheral status, is struggling to offer job opportunities for young people, who are deserting the territory. In addition, Martinique has a rate of 28% of young people (20-24) are not graduated. Greece, which is hit hard by the economic crisis, is facing a significant rise in the number of young NEETs. According to Eurostat, in 2015, the rate of young unemployed or early school leavers (between the ages of 20 and 24) in the EU was 17.3%, compared with 26.1% in Greece. Eurostat also reports that France and Portugal showed one of the highest rates of increase in NEETs for the period 2006 to 2015, with respective increases of 9.5%, 9.3%, and 9%. To address this problem, and part of the Europe 2020 strategy for a sustainable, smart and inclusive economy, the EU states have set themselves the ambition of reducing the share of young people to less than 10% of 18-24 years old without any training system and without a high school diploma. To achieve its objectives, the EU recommends, among other things, to develop new methodologies for assessing and validating skills to be acquired in non-formalized environments in order to achieve official certification of skills. To act on this last point we decided to set up this project of exchanges of good practices. It is an extension of the European project (youtheclub.eu) aimed at training and networking young and aspiring entrepreneurs. We want to go further and build a skills repository and online interactive educational booklet that is usable, attractive, relevant to the target audience's capacities and adaptable to each EU country and through 4 creative mobilities that involve youth educators specializing in non-formal education and vocational integration of young people. This project aims to:- Share and pool our knowledge, our experiences and our reflections with our partners on social inclusion and support to the employment of young people without qualifications to broaden our educational approaches and requalify our methods and our educational tools.- Promote the transfer of practices between all participating countries.- Involve local partners from participating countries throughout the project to support and integrate young people without qualifications.- Build and carry out surveys and interviews with young people without qualifications and local businesses whose jobs are in tension (lack of manpower) to know how they represent the personal and professional skills needed to get a job.- Build, from the results of the interviews, a framework of key competencies to have to obtain a job (from the point of view of the young person as of the company) which is accessible on our platform youtheclub.euBuild and run thematic workshops for young people to facilitate their professional integration.Create an online educational booklet to promote good teaching practices from the project via our youtheclub.eu platformMake the results of the project visible and valued by collectively organizing a public communication strategy. Target groups:- professionals and youth workers, the social workers, the animators/educators, the trainers, who will be the beneficiaries of the pedagogical booklet to facilitate their accompaniment of the young people towards employment.- unskilled young people who will benefit from our support to the formalization and recognition of their skills. They will also participate in thematic workshops to increase their knowledge and skills in topics facilitating insertion.- local enterprises/business that can potentially employ young people without qualifications. They will be asked to know their expectations in terms of essential skills to get a job.

For further information contact us at helpdesk@openaire.euassignment_turned_in ProjectPartners:MONOPATIA ALLILEGIIS, ASSOCIATION MIGRATION SOLIDARITE & ECHANGE POUR LE DEVELOPPEMENT, ASSOCIAÇÃO NOVO MUNDO AZULMONOPATIA ALLILEGIIS,ASSOCIATION MIGRATION SOLIDARITE & ECHANGE POUR LE DEVELOPPEMENT,ASSOCIAÇÃO NOVO MUNDO AZULFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2018-3-EL02-KA205-004707Funder Contribution: 48,045 EURNowadays almost 20% of the young people in the European Union leave the educational system without obtaining the General Certificate of Education or drip out of the system. This is an issue depending mainly from the social inequalities, the tension between the school and family culture, the failings of the school itself as well as of the educational branches. The research done by “Program for International Student Assessment” (PISA) into the efficiency and the performance of the various educational systems make obvious how much the gap of success chances between the pupils with high social economic background of their parents and other who lack such favored starting conditions. Much as Greece id badly stricken by the ongoing economic crisis, it say at the number of the NEET young people drastically go up. According to Eurostat, in 2015, the rate of unemployed young people or young people leaving prematurely the school was 17,3%, while this rat as regards Greece id much higher (26,1%). Eurostat also reports that in Portugal and Greece the rate of increasement of the NEETs was too high in the period between 2006-2015 (more than 9%). In order to answer to the problem and keeping in with the strategy “Europe 2020” promoting a sustainable intelligent economy, and inclusive the member-states of the European Union have proclaimed the ambition to decrease by at least 10% the number of young people between 18-24 years old who are out of any educational system and haven’t obtained the G.C.E. To reach these objectives, the E.U. encourages the development of new methodologies for assessment and certification (qualification) of the competences acquired in non-formal settings of education, the end goal being the official certification of young people’s competences & skills. With a view to act positively within this frame, we have decided to launch this project centered on the exchange of good practices. It constitutes the follow-up of the European-scale project “Youtheclub.eu” implemented by our partner organizations. The project in question aims at the training, the support, the escort and the connection in a net of the young or would-be entrepreneurs. We wish to go further in this path and form thru our virtual club an on-line pedagogical manual to the interest of the young people who have given up their studies. This manual is meant to be usable and adaptable in every EU-country in connection with 4 creative mobilities which engage some young people’s educators specialized in the non-formal education and the coaching of young people in their professional insertion. The project in question aims at: - Sharing and making common the knowledge, experience and thinking of all partners who are involved in the social inclusion and the escort of unqualified young people into landing a job, so that we all could enrich our educational methods and readjust our methods and pedagogical tools. - Favoring the transmission of good practices among all the participating countries. - Involve, all along the project, local partners of the participating countries in order to support and socially integrate the unqualified young people. - Launch and realize some surveys and interview among the unqualified young people and the local enterprises whose business are under strain (owing to lack of manpower), so that we could find out which personal and professional competences prove to be necessary for landing a job. - Build, based on the interviews’ results, a reference list of the key-competences for young people in search of a job. That list should be accessible on the platform “youtheclub.eu”. - Create an on-line pedagogical manual which promotes the good pedagogical practices disseminated by the project thru our platform “youtheclub.eu”. - Make broadly known and exploit the results of the project in hand by collectively organizing a public communication strategy. Kinds of public aimed at: - The agents of the professional insertion, the social workers, the young people’s educators /animators, the trainers who will be the beneficiary of the pedagogical manual, in order for them to get instructions for better supporting young people in their search of a job. - The unqualified young people who will benefit from our supporting in the qualification and “officialisation” of their competences. They will also take part in the thematical workshops in order to enhance their knowledge and competences in the factors which promote /facilitate their own professional insertion. - The local enterprises which are likely to become the employers of the unqualified young people. They will be encouraged to identify and make known their expectations in terms of the necessary competences for hiring personnel.

For further information contact us at helpdesk@openaire.euassignment_turned_in ProjectPartners:The Hub Nicosia Ltd, MONOPATIA ALLILEGIIS, REPLAY Network, PISTES SOLIDAIRESThe Hub Nicosia Ltd,MONOPATIA ALLILEGIIS,REPLAY Network,PISTES SOLIDAIRESFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2021-1-FR02-KA220-YOU-000028610Funder Contribution: 244,068 EUR"<< Background >>The Green Deal launched by President Von der Leyen echoes the growing environmental awareness and the need to provide answers to the climate change. Citizens, in their daily lives, are at the heart of this transition to a climate-neutral society: how we produce and consume, how we heat or cool our homes, how we travel, how we eat, how we work and finally how we live together. The success of the Green Deal, the achievement of carbon neutrality, will only be possible with the participation of all and in all economic and social areas, the Commission reminds us.Youth and European volunteering is a sector that can actively contribute to this, particularly because young people are ready for it, they are motivated and they are asking for their voice and their desire for commitment to be taken into account more in the programmes offered to them. This is the ambition of the Youth Goal 10 and an axis of the European youth strategy.Young people express their desire to play a more important role in this issue and wish to- Understand : to have trustworthy sources of information adapted to young people- Learn : to benefit from environmental and sustainable development education for young people within youth organisations (and in other settings). - Act : increase opportunities for environmental volunteering and support youth-led initiatives for the environment and climate change<< Objectives >>Addressing the needs of young people in terms of understanding, learning and taking action for the environment and the fight against climate change is one of the objectives of the European Volunteers for the Environment project: - Informing volunteers about the green deal and how their volunteering can contribute to developing their environmental attitudes and skills - Translate the climate pact into youth work and train youth workers to implement actions in the field or integrating the environmental dimension - Identify and gather good practices and pedagogical tools that can inspire youth workers and multiply the impact - Strengthen the skills of volunteer tutors on the Green deal, the climate pact and the notion of environmental competence - Invite and encourage host organisations to offer opportunities for engagement with the environment - Promote and make visible the actions of volunteers in favour of the environment<< Implementation >>These objectives will be pursued throughout the 30 months of the project, by bringing together the skills and expertise of 4 European partners and implementing specific actions:- analysis, research and conclusion to refine expectations and needs, develop tools and contents that fully meet the expectations and realities of young people and youth organisations/workers- explain the Green Deal and its concrete translation into the work of a volunteer tutor through the creation of micro-learning on the subject- to increase youth workers' skills and knowledge on the issues of the green deal and how youth work (and young people) can actively participate in it- create a platform dedicated to making accessible and visible opportunities for concrete environmental engagement across Europe- To stimulate action by young people, especially volunteers, around a high visibility action on the ""All for Environmental Action Day"" (United Nations)- inspire and share through the promotion of good practices in the field at European level. In addition to the production of educational content and methods, a European and local training programme will be set up for volunteer tutors (hybrid training) and youth workers. If the project ends, each partner will organise a major dissemination event of the project results, for the professional of their local community. All of the work in the European Volunteers for the Environment project is designed to have an impact, to reach the project's target groups and to provide young people with a response that is not just temporary. A very active dissemination, with a European dimension, supported by events such as the EVEday on 5 June and the dissemination of our pedagogical productions will participate in the creation of an informal but active network of European youth work actors and professionals in favour of the inclusion of environmental education and the fight against climate change in volunteering.<< Results >>It is a strong goal of EVE that an increasing number of volunteer missions allow this time of engagement to be an opportunity for young people to learn about the environment at the same time.It is translated in an operational way by the production of results which contribute to it, such as- a guidance and opportunities document on ""Environmental and climate change education in youth work and European volunteering"", a guiding and supporting document for decision makers and youth work operators- 1 e-learning platform and 11 micro-learning modules- 2 training curricula (1 for youth workers, 1 for volunteer tutors)- 1 mapping of engagement opportunities in GIS format- 1 digital guide of inspiring good practices- 1 European meeting to promote youth engagement, EVEday, on 5 June each year (3 events during the project)- 4 national training courses- 1 hybrid training for tutors- 4 dissemination events- 1 European communication campaign for youth organisations and volunteer tutorsIn terms of results the EVE project also aims at - an evolution of youth work and a better consideration of environmental realities and expectations - strengthening the knowledge and skills of youth workers and tutors- the development of mentoring around environmental competence among young people- a better knowledge, understanding and appropriation of the Green Deal among young people- a strengthening of the feeling of European citizenship among young people- a dynamic between European associations and a sharing of resources on the subject- local, regional and national impacts- participation of the youth sector in achieving the objectives of the Green Deal- EVE's contribution to the objectives of the European Youth Strategy"
