LIFE-LONG LEARNING CENTER LEVEL II S.A.,Foundation for Developing Emotional IntelligenceFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2021-1-BG01-KA220-ADU-000033724Funder Contribution: 195,455 EUR"<< Background >>According to recent publications of Cedefop, was presented that up to the moment, EU is still far from attaining its benchmark of 15% adult participation in learning. Additional, the economic and financial crisis, which EU is facing after COVID-19 lead to increased unemployment rates in the member states. Due to this, Europe must improve and maintain high-level skills and competences to remain competitive and innovative and to restore losses after COVID-19. Therefore it is essential to be realized, that upskilling and reskilling of people is much needed, not only to access and progress in the labour market but also to achieve one’s full potential and play an active role in society. According to the estimates, upskilling the EU-28 adult population would lead to an average yearly gain of EUR 200 billion in the 10-year period between 2020 and 2030. For EU is from high importance not to underestimate the real economic and social costs of low skills in Europe.According to PIAAC survey, the share of adults with low cognitive skills (literacy and numeracy) is particularly high (over 36%) in Greece, Spain and Italy; By 2019, in the EU-28+, there are 128 million adults (46.1% of the adult population of this area) with potential for upskilling and reskilling, since they present either low education, low digital skills, low cognitive skills or are medium- to high-educated at risk of skill loss and obsolescence, because they work in elementary occupations.According to the European Commission, by 2025, 48.7% of all job openings in the EU will require high qualifications, 39.8% will be for the medium-skilled and only 11.5% will require low or no qualifications. Rapidly changing labour markets and multiple challenges, such as digitalisation and its consequences for the future of work, technological changes, the environment, ageing societies and social inclusion, require not only strong skill foundations, but also constant updating and acquiring new skills. Technical Training Centre Larnaca LTD,Technical Training Bulgaria LtdFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2015-1-BG01-KA204-014294Funder Contribution: 225,466 EUR"Basic skills (literacy, numeracy, science, technology, English as a second language) are the foundation for further learning and are a gateway to employment and social inclusion, according Europe 2020 - the EU's strategic growth strategy. A key factor for achieving smart, sustainable, and inclusive growth is to implement policies, programmes and projects aimed at raising attainment levels and improving attitudes, with a particular emphasis on low-achievers. A special focus is needed to the achievements of adult learners and to their need of adaptation to the dynamic needs of the labour market and social inclusion. One of the main objectives of the project IGETADAPT is to respond to the needs of adult learners of short-term and effective method for acquiring knowledge and skills contributing to their professional realization regardless of the field of career. The project IGETADAPT is based on transfer of the ""Suggestopedia"" educational system and its adaptation to the methodologies used in trainings and education on Basic skills for adults.Suggestopedia is a combination of pedagogy and psychology. This is original system for efficient learning: - In a positive and spontaneous way - Without stress or fatigue - Through mental relaxation and concentration unstressed - With the help of artThe innovation within the project consists in the adaptation of the Suggestopetia system to the methodologies for Basic skills trainings. The Suggestopedia system is mostly used for foreign language education but in the last 5 years the methodology is applied experimentally and with high level of success in Bulgaria also for trainings and education on literacy and numeracy. With this project the system of Suggestopedia will serve as a basis for development of innovative methodology for Basic skills education of adults. In order to achieve project’s objectives, the following activities are defined for implementation: 1) Common Methodological framework developement Transnational MeetingThematic seminar - Suggestopedia system in Basic skills adult education – including 30 representatives of stakeholders2) Basic Skills Suggestopedia Tools (BSS Tools) Transnational Meeting Short term learning activity - Train the Trainers course – including 9 trainers to be trainedEvaluation Round Table – including 30 representatives of stakeholders3) Final ReportFinal Conference - including 30 representatives of stakeholdersIn addition to the main activities, the following results are envisaged: # Guide for application of Common Methodological framework - 500 copies; # Interactive media presentation of the BSS Tools - 500 copies on Flash memories drive# 1 Final press-conference in Bulgaria;# IGETADAPT web site # 1 Final round table in Bulgaria. IGETADAPT project had a direct impact on the local communities that benefit from the project but it will also have an indirect impact at national, and European level by developing and promoting an innovative effective system for Basic skills adult learning. In fact, people don't mastering the basic skills can benefit from project's tools which will help them to access further education and labour market - the level of unemployment in these communities could decrease because of the increase in the level of skills. The newly developed under IGETADAPT project methodology for fast and effective Basic skills training will impact the target group through giving tools for successful adaptation of an adult learners to the specifics of labour market and social life. In this context the impact on the target group consists in decreasing the level of exclusion of adults from the labour market due to low achievements in learning ativities. It is therefore very important to note that the impact of the project on a long term basis and if recognised for its value will be as follows:- Increase in the level of skills of those isolated communities (rise in qualifications)- Stopping the increase of the levels of exclusion- Reduction of the level of unemployment in population categories- Increase of the general feeling of well-being and quality of life. Therefore we believe that the project will have a positive impact at local, national and European level by highlighting (to local, regional, national and European authorities) the issues and creating the tools to engage adults from these isolated communities in learning."

Consortium Be in Europe, composed of 6 partners from 6 European countries, accompanied the migration dynamics by developing and promoting training contents and activities aimed at favouring migrants’ integration into the host countries society and labour market. The aim was to participate in the construction of a transcultural and tolerant Europe that creates wealth for all and by all. To this end, over a period of 27 months, project partners developed three alternative learning schemes for (i) the improvement of migrants' psychosocial skills, (ii) mediation and intercultural skills for businesses and (iii) support for business creation/entrepreneurship. In addition, they worked on the creation of the Be in Europe collaborative platform, which is both the showcase of the project (hosting of deliverables) and promotes networking between different actors, particularly around the activity cliché: exchange of experience in order to overcome prejudices and stereotypes.A total of 142 participants took part in the 19 training sessions organised in the partnership territories, bringing together (representatives of) adult migrants, pupils, students, teachers (FEP) and (representatives of) companies, business creation networks, professional organisations, Employment Office, Trade unions, etc. Sessions were carried out face-to-face and/or virtually, in spite of the pandemic, thus reflecting a real motivation and a real need on the part of all the players. The alternative methodology applied favoured the involvement of the participants and the conditions for the sustainability of the measures, since project direct beneficiaries were closely involved in the creation of content throughout the process: the aim was to work with and for them.Be in Europe project was punctuated by various dissemination events which contributed to a wider use and appropriation of the results and to the inclusion of the action in time. Thus, 312 people took an active part in these events which took place in Bulgaria, Belgium, France, Greece, Italy and Portugal, sometimes in person, sometimes online, sometimes simultaneously. All the project outcomes are freely downloadable from Be in Europe website in the 6 languages of the partnership: https://www.beineurope.eu/."
