"The project ""Become Busy - B.B."" is an innovative idea of empowering young people's entrepreneurship by combining New Information Technologies with business education. Business education for young people in many European countries has been integrated into the education system already in high school. Unfortunately, this is not the case for all countries, such as in Greece, a fact that does not allow young people to fully develop their potential in this area. Furthermore, in order to increase employment rates, Europe needs more entrepreneurs, but to create new generations of them it is required to “…enable new business opportunities offered by the digital technologies'. Entrepreneurial Education enhances job prospects, but its status in the eyes of young people needs to be improved as only 27% of young people aged 15-24 say they would recommend it to their friends. ""Become Busy"" has as its main objective the development of an entrepreneurial spirit to young people through the creation of an e-learning tool, a Business Simulation Platform. The BB platform allows young people, in a digital environment, to set up a business idea and manage its development. In the process of digital management, the user faces problems, obstacles and other business risks, which allow him/her to deepen the aspects of entrepreneurship. The innovation of the Project is based on the idea of familiarizing young people with business issues and conditions by offering them a virtual experience, encouraging their entrepreneurial spirit and boosting their entrepreneurial learning in a pleasant way. To achieve the goal of the project, a dynamic partnership was formed with organizations from countries with a high youth unemployment rate (Spain, Italy and Greece). The Institute of Social Innovation and Cohesion and the Pan-Hellenic Association of Electronic Applications of Information Technology and New Technologies from Greece, YouNet from Italy and Método Estudios Consultores from Spain, participate in the project. The target group is youth (18-28 years old) coming from partner countries who are interested in entrepreneurship and / or have a business idea. The methodology and logic of the project is based on non-formal learning methods, while the activities envisaged are: 1. Carry out research on entrepreneurship / youth views and the production of Educational Material for the BB platform. 2. Creation of an Electronic Business Simulation Platform (based on the exploitation of the results of the above surveys) 3. Pilot Implementation of the Electronic Business Simulation Platform in Greece to young people and improvement of the platform according to the feedback from the pilot seminar, and translating into corresponding partner languages 4. Implementation of Transnational Training Seminars and Official Operation of the Business Simulator, 5. Dissemination activities for the products and results of the project. The ""Become Busy"" Project envisages: • that the participating organizations will develop their structures and competencies by offering quality entrepreneurship empowerment training programmes to young people and will also further expand their partner network, • to create a structured, attractive, online tool for developing young entrepreneurship, • that young participants to deepen into the concept of entrepreneurship, to familiarize with its conditions, to develop their skills, to understand the differences between the different business models of the participating countries and the European Business environment"

"Context:As part of its efforts to promote mobility and intercultural understanding, the EU has designated language learning as a prominent priority. Multilingualism is a crucial element in Europe’s competitiveness since the Barcelona objective 2002/2008. One of the objectives of the EU’s language policy is that every European citizen should master two other languages in addition to their mother tongue. Language competences mostly involve reading, listening and writing skills, but: verbal communication is equally important, nonetheless not in the focus yet.As part of the EU2020 Strategy related to ""Opening up education through new technologies"", this project will help address this issue by providing (through ICT) open-access resources to teaching and learning contents for adult learners. Objectives:Main objective of Speak-app project has been to improve the oral communication skills of adults in foreign languages and cooperation between equals, putting special emphasis on increasing verbal skills and motivations of learners to speak up, but also framework conditions of educators. The course has had an especial focus on oral communication techniques, tips and strategies and also in helping participants to increase their capacity and confidence for a more active involvement into educational and lifelong learning activities. Participants: Primary target group: adult education staff, namely: educators, teachers, mentors, peers, language providers and prospective individuals interested in developing their labour path in adult education. Secondary target group: all adults willing to improve their communication skills in foreign languages will benefit from the project. The course and the app are open for registration to any person interested on the topic. Stakeholders: the stakeholders have included adult training organizations, non-formal training providers and other educational organizations and institutions. Undertaken Activities and project resultsDuring this project, partners have developed the following results: -Online course in 4 languages with tools for oral communication addressed to teachers, trainers, educators and any other person interested on the topic. -Elearning platform for hosting the elearning course. -Web-app that allows students to get in touch with other foreign students with similar language levels and interests. -Two research documents, one as a: Guidelines for effective oral communication in foreign languages, focused on best practices for language learning through ICT tools and a Analysis: expert interviews with language teachers on effective oral communication in foreign languages, each partner interviewed 5 language teachers to know more about the everyday situations they face on their lessons and what training materials and tools they feel they could need or use. Research documents were planned on submission form but not funded. During kick-off meeting partners decided that some research was needed, so it was integrated as an activity for the development of Intellectual Output 2 and due the potential interest of participants to know the results and other opinions from trainers and teachers, it has been published and disseminated. The course is structured in 4 training modules. The topics and approach have been decided based on the results from the research phase. The modules are: Module 1: Human motivational learning theories.Module 2: New didactic approaches for language teaching in virtual learning environments. Module 3: Andragogic approach and virtual environment. Module 4: How to use Speak-app The course has been developed in English and then translated into the national languages of project partners (Spanish, Portuguese and German). Impact:126 participants in multiplier events117 students enrolled on the elearning platform and on the app2785 people impacted by the dissemination actions made by partners. (More information on dissemination section)17 teachers and trainers interviewed. Long-term benefits:Trainers and teachers in foreign languages will benefit in the long term as the course will remain available for at least 5 more years. The app will also remain available for five more years from the end of the project. To increase the project dissemination, an article has been posted on EPALE webpage, as a free resource for any person interested on the topic. As most partners will continue working on different Erasmus+ projects, they will continue to disseminate the results and will encourage other entities to make use of project results."

Adult Education Organizations have long been identified as having an important role in reversing the trend of adults not being employed, not in education and not in training. In recent years employers are increasingly looking for people who have obtained not only academic qualifications but who can also demonstrate that they have a wider range of practical skills that cannot all be learned in formal education. These ‘soft skills’ cannot easily be ‘taught’ in formal education because they are learned through ‘hands-on’ practical experience and thus are much more effectively gained in non-formal environments.Adult education and lifelong learning organizations across Europe are working tirelessly to make a positive change for adults. However based upon the research and experience of the consortium; if such organizations developed their core administrative and counseling activities, they have the capacity to have a significantly higher impact. Adult education and lifelong learning organizations are managed by highly competent staff with a desire and vision to make a difference, however in many cases, have little financial, administrative and management capabilities. In order to strengthen the work of current and even new adult education or lifelong learning organizations there is a need to have concrete administrative, counseling and even management processes. In doing so such organizations will be able to reach a wider scope of beneficiaries, develop the effectiveness of their activities, and gain increased recognition and confidence from other sectors, which in turn will help to develop the recognition of non-formal education on the whole. Therefore there is a need for adult educators/teachers/mentors/peers of existing and new adult education and lifelong learning organizations to have access to a recognized iYOT mobile guidance counseling system, that is specifically relevant, offers concrete outcomes in sense of Certificate for iYoT counsellors, and is furthermore mobile and flexible to fit around an already busy schedule of many adult organization staff and members. iYOT project addressed exactly this area – to answer the need of adult educators (and participants in adult education) for common counselling digital system. Therefore, we produced the 3 main deliverables: iYOT Guidelines, iYOT Curricula and iYOT mobile application to equip the guidance counsellors with innovative and modern digital tool to support their counselling work. Not only that: the iYOT mobile app is also tailor-made for learners and users in education, counselling or mobility that now have an option to be in regular contact with educational or guidance counsellor over distance and in any time. The project involved 5 partners, from Slovenia, Austria, Sweden, Portugal and Spain. Each partner had a dedicated project team that took the lead in researching, developing, and publishing one module for Training of Mobile Guidance Counselors and 1 module for iYOT guidelines, each partner participated in devepomnent of iYOT mobile app . Each partner was intentionally selected according to their specifics and expertize so we have been combining expertize and wide scope of European framework. The aim of iYOT was increasing the capacity of adult educators and staff of adult education organizations offering different courses, trainings, lifelong learning activities and counseling services to adult participants with fast and effective access to digital counseling and information exchange. Partners developed user friendly distant guidance counseling service to follow adults interest, skills, personal and occupational developments according to available time of interested user, realized in a web-based mobile support system with innovative mobile software - iYOT. Furthermore project increased involvement of adults in guidance counseling through innovative mobile application iYOT, because with achieved (and even overachieved) results project partners prooved that the decision for implementation of iYOT project was the right one. With direct involvement of more than 7000 direct users, participants at multiplier events and informed via different media we increased their capacity to undertake new learning, mobility or working opportunities. The following iYOT objectives have been set and achieved:-Developed iYOT mobile guidance counseling service that meets the counseling, informational and lifelong learning needs of adults in education or lifelong learning -Developed iYOT Guidelines for mobile guidance consulting implementation-developed iYOT Curriculla for implementation in the classroom and e-learning online version-Developed open access e-learning platform iYOT-Trained team of Guidance Counselors for counselling over distance-over 500 mobile guidances provided during project lifetime-10 multiplier events organized in 5 countries with over 400 participants

Refugee migration to Europe present both opportunities and challenges for vocational education and training systems. On the opportunity side, an influx of highly-motivated individuals provides a boost to the labour force, and particularly to sectors that have difficulty filling demand. On the challenge side, refugees often enter host-country labour markets without orientation or even a basic concept of the types of VET and career tracks available. The proposed project seeks to address this challenge through research and innovation. Its primary output will be a multilingual application accessible by mobile phone. Users will take a Vocational Interest Self-Evaluation test, which will ask them to rank certain tasks (e.g. “repair engines,” “design websites,” “assist with vaccinations”) on a scale of interest. Based on the results, the tool will suggest VET and career options that both suit users’ interests and are relevant to local labour market needs. Users will then be able to use the app to access motivational Video Profiles of third-country nationals who have completed VET in their fields of interest, as well as to find and network with VET counsellors and providers in their areas. In parallel, the application will host Guidelines on Early VET Orientation and a Research Report, designed to assist stakeholders in addressing the needs of the app users and other under-served VET seekers.
