The coordinator was Aloja Ausekla Secondary School from Latvia. The project was aimed for secondary school students. 100 participants, both students and teachers, took part in transnational learning activities and 3 transnational project meetings. More students and teachers were involved in the local project activities, thus benefiting from the project. This project was based on the promotion of a European dimension in partner schools, especially since it was the first Erasmus+ project for all. This project gave students and teachers an opportunity to acquire and improve foreign language skills, learn about entrepreneurship, ICT and promote awareness and tolerance for social and intercultural inclusion. Another major project theme was reducing food waste. Participation in activities promoted the ability to collaborate and team spirit. The partner schools and the educators involved have expressed a desire to continue their cooperation. This was an opportunity for both the school and the teachers to learn project management and the use of ICT in it. The project motivated the practical use of foreign language skills as well as learning new words and phrases, especially for students in host families. The project promoted cross-curricular links across topics such as language, business English, entrepreneurship, ICT and food production and waste, biology, geography, history, social sciences, music. Pupils and educators took part in a series of activities to improve their knowledge of the issues covered, as well as to improve their foreign language skills, intercultural understanding and tolerance, thanks to the opportunity to cooperate in the context of European Union.Students prepared questionnaires and surveyed more than 100 respondents to find out about the habits of local households in terms of purchasing food and reducing waste. The results were compared between partner schools and posted on school website. The participants also had the opportunity to find out what partner schools are doing about the issue, to look at the Greek school garden, to compost, During the study trip in Greece, the students planted something typical from their country in the international garden of the project. During the presentations, the participants explained or showed more about the plant, its use.During the project, the partner schools also got to know the eTwinning platform and created a project site there. The project gave an idea of employment in the partner school countries, regions, prospects, unemployment as well as traditional jobs as well as jobs related to the environment and tourism, business. We are working on development of certain lesson plans and materials based on literary works to provide varied methods and content to students learning at upper and advanced levels. We also want to promote inclusion both with teachers and students.<< Implementation >>First, we will be exchanging experience and good practices, observing and learning from each other. Then we will be collaborating to create new materials. This will be achieved with meetings, classes, approbation of materials, both online and in partner organisations. Finally, we will evaluate the activities and the results before sharing the product with other teachers online.<< Results >>As the result, the cooperation will produce a set of materials and lesson plans for foreign language classes, in particular English aiming at C1 level. The materials will help teachers use literary works in their language classes. In addition, the materials will help explore and work with the issue of inclusion. Apart from the tangible result, the partner schools will develop their professional experience in teaching foreign languages.

Its main aim is to foster the Spanish language as a means of communication in Europe while offering students from other European countries, who are studying Spanish as an L2 or L3, the chance to improve their Spanish language knowledge and to learn about Spanish culture. We also focus on the cultural asset of having this type of mobility in countries where CLIL or EMILE are being implemented, like in our school, and where our students may use Spanish as a lingua franca for communication while improving their level of other foreign languages such as French, Italian or English (or even learn an L3 such as Portuguese or Finnish). Furthermore, we consider that the long-term mobility concept provides per se a huge opportunity for personal growth and learning for both students and teachers who participate in it while having a tremendous impact on the hosting institutions.Within our project our travelling teachers and students will become natives of the target language of the project 8Spanish in this case, for IES Pérez Galdós participants) and they'll be able to share their knowledge of Spanish language and culture.Students and teachers who will visit us for two months will be French and Italian language natives, and in the case of Portugal and Finland, if not native at least they'll have an excellent level of English, either because they've been trained in CLIL or because they've had a good EFL training. Furthermore, we expect students participating in the mobilities to assume the roles of becoming peer trainers, by giving lectures and workshops to students of other educational levels in their mother tongue or in English (Portugal and Finland) about the situation of specific values in their countries. We have chosen the topics of gender equality, environmental awareness, human rights, coexistence and mediation, health education and responsible consumerism. Finally, the long-term teaching mobilities will be carried out simultaneously to the long-term learning mobilities of students."
