Within PROMOCITI we want to combine existing knowledge and practical know-how of the experienced actors with an activating impulse for institutions and their pedagogical staff which until now focuses more on designing programmes for interested learners that are offered in the folk high schools/in the education houses. Adult education that supports or initiates active citizenship will have to outreach for the citizens. PROMOCITI´S two intellectual outputs cover at first a specific engrossed survey of the role and performance of adult education institutions like folk high schools or similar ones within the field of active citizenship (including key success factors and hinderances). The main output will be a theoretically developed and twofold tested curriculum for pedagogical staff with special emphasis on designing and facilitating hybrid workshops and creating digital stories as method for documentation. For the pedagogical staff of folk high schools and similar organisation it is crucial - to accept active citizenship as a main challenge for their future work,- to gain competence in how to initiate and facilitate processes and/or activities in civic participation and- to achieve practical experience by organizing and facilitating pilot workshops with local/regional citizens (linked by digital technology with other sites in the partner countries). Some 20 persons of this target group will be involved in the train-the-trainer seminar, modules 1+2, which is one part the final curriculum´s ""market test"". They will also build online peer groups to collaborate in the development of regional pilot workshops (see below). The second part of this ""market test"" will evaluate the transferability of the curriculum to concrete situations of citizens´ involvement. For active citizens of the involved partner countries PROMOCITI will be a unique chance not only to collaborate on local level with an adult education institute but also to discuss, think and work together with other engaged citizens in the partner countries - linked by digital software without the need or burden to travel hundreds of kilometres and spend a few days to be able to do so. Therefore, we will explore common European values in basic democracy not only in adult education but also in the way different partners and countries promote active citizenship. More than 200 European citizens will participate in these pilot workshops. In this sense PROMOCITI will raise awareness and understanding for topics present in society in different European countries from North to South. This enhances a common European understanding of themes and helps to implement ideas and experiences from other countries´ regional activities.Expected impacts are not only allocated to organisational or local level (gaining competence in the field of active citizenship, building local networks for grassroot level activities) but shall extend nationally by inspiring more and more AE institutes to integrate active citizenship into their portfolios and education programmes. The fact that all project partners are (embedded in) roof organisations is a very valuable issue and a good starting position for influencing a lot of folk high schools and other (similiar) organisations involved in adult education. In general, the participating organisations - and finally all other interested ones - will receive a great variety of impulses and finding for the development of their own organisation´s portfolio and position as partner for civic participation. So, we expect that the work on PROMOCITI will have a lot of sustainable impact on the future performance of all partner institutions and their related networks.<< Objectives >>A main task in adult education is to enhance civic engagement and participation by adult education based on common European values. The digiUP project aims to improve the digital competence among disadvantage groups in Europe by implementing the SEA “interactive group” - heterogeneous grouping in the classroom - in ICT courses aimed to achieve the five areas of digital competence: information, communication, content-creation, safety and problem-solving. It is addressed to the disadvantage group identified in the Digital Agenda Report as the most vulnerable (aged 55-74, low educated, unemployed, retired and inactive people) focusing on migrant and Roma who are those suffering more educative and employment exclusion at this moment in Europe. The project will be based in a participative and intergenerational approach. The digiUP will also benefit adult educators and institutions providing them innovative and successful tools and contributing to improve and increase the high quality educative offer to adult people in ICT area; the project will also offer to policy makers with responsibilities in adult education, basic skills, Roma and migrant inclusion, active ageing and active citizenship a concrete proposal, and a methodology, to achieve improvements in all of these areas. The digiUP project brings innovations to the current situation because is based on the international scientific community recommendations; because digiUP project will be leaded by the main target group through the creation of National Coordination Committees – as decisions bodies - and its working groups will be an active part of the coordination project teams and also will be able to develop the methodology, the main project contribution. The main outputs of the project are: The digiUP Methodology - a methodology on how to implement interactive groups in digital competence learning courses- ; the digiUP Interactive Guide - addressed to adults educators and adult education providers about how to implement the methodology created -; and the digiUP Training Courses – addresses to adult educators and other stakeholders to facilitate the implementation and to know in depth the interactive guide-. Also activities to disseminate the main outputs at National and European level will be held by the Project Consortium as well as a Final Conference. The project will be assured through and internal evaluation and external evaluation through the creation of a Quality Evaluation Group. Through the project, almost 80 adult learners at risk around Europe will enhance the digital competences at the end of the project because of the digiUP Methodology, and 60 educators, adult providers and volunteers will be trained to impart ICT learning to learners from disadvantage group; in summary the present project will provide an innovative education solution for a mainstream problem and will also improve the quality of formative offer of adults at European level based on scientific bases and various assessments throughout the project duration.

A solid financial training is needed in order to form a critical and informed youth able to understand and make decisions concerning all financial aspects. To face this situation, the FinanceGO Project aimed to train educators to be qualified to offer a quality financial education to young adults at risk of social exclusion taking into account their own needs and expectations giving them the opportunity to learn about the importance that Financial Literacy has in their Daily life, and how knowing Financial Literacy can help them to make better decisions for their future. The development of the FinanceGO Guide (O2) and Training Course for educators and volunteers, allowed the partner institutions to consolidate a line of work started with the EDUFIN Project (2014 - 2016). Along the whole project, the consortium organized national Events (focus groups) to gather recommendations on Financial Literacy for Adult Education, which allowed us to create a network of organizations and public administrations interested in taking advantage of the European financial education curriculum and the FinanceGO Guide for educators on how to carry out Financial Literacy classes for young people at risk of social exclusion (Output 2). A training course was also implemented in Italy and Spain, ensuring the impact on target groups of the project, in this case educators, who will apply them. The expected results from the FinanceGO project was linked to the FinanceGO Guide for educators on how to carry out Financial Literacy classes for young people at risk of social exclusion, the main output of the project, with the objective of: Disseminating and exploiting the European curriculum on financial literacy’s contents for young adults at risk, training educators on how to implement financial literacy courses for young adults at risk and giving access successfully to financial literacy to youth at risk. During the closure phase of the project, a Multiplier event was organized in Austria for disseminating the output generated along the project, with the objective of making them arrive to all organizations and educators as possible which will guarantee their use and its sustainability once the project is over. The FinanceGO project was be organized into four phases: Preparation phase contains all the activities that were be carried out during the first two months of the project, including activities related to management, dissemination and quality. Implementation phase includes the activities related to the achievement of the main output of the project. Follow-up phase ensures that the project reaches to a European level. Closure phase contains mainly the organization of the Multiplier event of the project’s output. The project consortium met on four international meetings and a monthly online meeting. The methodology to develop the present project’s outputs was the Communicative Methodology which is based on the principles of equality, inclusion and relevance of all participants. Voices of educators and young adults at risk were incorporated on the development of the output when discussing about it during the National Coordination Committee meetings, young adult at risk were also included to guarantee that their needs are taken into account. Finally, for the development of the Training Course, the methodology used was Dialogical learning (Flecha, 1997) which claims that learning is produced through equality interactions. In order to guarantee a bigger number of young adults will receive a quality financial education, it is necessary not just training educators but also giving access to the outputs that have been created along this project. That is why all output contents will be available in EPALE in order to be used by other centers interested in how to carry out financial literacy courses to young people at risk of social exclusion.

The MOTIV-ACTION consortium is composed by a European alliance of Adult Education Centers and Confederations, Employment Centers and Agencies, Career Guidance and Counselling operators, Public Authorities active in providing Employment services and national and international networks. MOTIV-ACTION will design, develop and test a methodological toolkit (that will be exploited in form of e-book, audiobook and skills for adult learners and in form of e-book and MOOC for adult educators/employment counsellors) that will support the uptake of a digital, open and multichanneling approach to career guidance, fostering the creation of a stronger dialogue between unemployed adults and career counselors/adult educators. Thanks to our approach, we will respond to the mentioned KA204 priorities by:- supporting unemployed adults - in particular those with low skills and qualifications - in finding new guidance and motivation pathways, built on an increase of their career management skills (IO1), thanks to the creation of a set of digital tools that will foster their self-awareness and understanding of what options they have for entering new learning or career opportunities.- extending the competences and tools of employment counsellors, career guidance and and adult education providers, providing them with new innovative digital solutions that could enrich the methods they use for providing support to unemployed adults in finding new learning and job opportunities. These objectives will be reached thanks to the following set of outputs, that will be realized and made available for free by all partners:IO1 - E-Coach Course and Skillset for Adult Learners and Guidance Operators - The IO1 will produce a set of didactic materials (in form of e-book, audio-book and MOOC) that will support both unemployed adults with low skills and qualifications and educators or guidance counselors in increasing the uptake of digital tools for providing guidance services. The output will also introduce a series of good practices and storytelling from all Europe, that will be included in the e-books and on the project websiteIO2 - Exploitation Guidelines for Users and Educators - This IO aims to validate the toolkit and the methodology created during IO1, thanks to two consistent pilot programs that will be conducted in all partners countries and the realization of two guidelines' documents (one for adult education center/employment agencies, the other for adult users) that will support the inclusion and exploitation of the project methodology in Europe. The Output will be implemented through a cross-fertilization and co-design process among partners from various European countries, that will represent an added value that will allow the spread of an e-guidance culture at European level.IO3- MOTIV-ACTION Strategic Action Plan - The final output will consist in the exploitation strategy, that will allow the creation of a handbook addressed both at policy-makers and provider level, with a series of recommendations that will address both national and European needs and favor the creation of National Alliances for the adoption of the MOTIV-ACTION methodology.
