"The project ""Programming as an innovative method of learning and teaching in European schools"" was addressed to students of European schools aged 13-16. The main goal of the project is to improve the quality of school work and to give students more opportunities to acquire knowledge of key competences through the practical application of programming and developing language and multicultural competences. The specific objectives are: - acquisition of basic programming skills and ways to use them in extending knowledge by project participants, - developing international social competences of students from all partner schools, - using information technologies in the process of acquiring knowledge and skills; developing intercultural and language competences. The task of the project was to show students how to use ICT tools, especially programming languages and coding, in better assimilation of knowledge in the field of various school subjects. By acquiring programming skills and creating themed games, the students learned to consolidate their general knowledge and satisfy the curiosity of the world. Thanks to this, they have also developed their creativity, key competences, mathematical reasoning and the ability to formulate conclusions. The project was implemented in accordance with the assumptions in the international group, and the main language of communication was English, which made the participants develop their language skills and the ability to cooperate. In addition, students acquired knowledge of the culture and customs of partner countries. Participation in mobility was an opportunity for them to acquire knowledge and learn about the world outside the school's walls. They acquired the ability to make decisions and increased their responsibility for their own choices. All this contributed to their sense of belonging to European society and provided them with features that are probably indispensable in future professional work. The use of modern information and computer technologies is a prerequisite for continuing education and providing employment opportunities. Four partners participated in the project, including the applicant. They represented European schools being the equivalent of the Polish gymnasium. Apart from the Primary School No. 3 in Zamość, which was called School Complex No. 3 in Zamość at the beginning of the project, it was also the IC di Via Valletta Fogliano school in Vigevano, Italy, Audru Kool school in the province of Parnu, Estonia, and College prive Sainte Marie in Ribeauvillé, France. 18 students from each school participated in the project. They took part in a total of four student exchanges between schools, during which they worked together to complete programming tasks. As part of local activities, in the period between mobility, students collected materials, communicated via the Internet, prepared information in the field of cultural studies and performed tasks entrusted to carers in the form of presentations and games made thanks to the acquisition of coding skills. In addition, 3 project meetings for teachers took placeThe project consisted of three modules: Module 1 - learning programming. At that time, local activities and training for participants of mobility and teachers in Poland took place. Module 2 - the use of programming to acquire knowledge about the culture of partner country schools and the creation of games and databases for programs that reinforce knowledge of various school subjects. The implementation of these activities focused mainly on working in international groups during student mobility in France and Italy. 3-student class through programming fun. Students created games using programming and various applications, mainly working in groups during mobility in Estonia. As part of the project, both teachers and students were trained in basic programming languages. As a result of the project, the teachers developed examples of lesson scenarios using coding, developing knowledge and skills in various school subjects. In addition, a program of extra-curricular activities in the basics of programming was developed. Most of these materials will be formulated in English so that they can be used in all partner schools and by all other interested parties. Thanks to such an innovative approach to using ICT in teaching, which was proposed in the project, the students enriched their knowledge and were motivated to undertake similar tasks on their own initiative. Teachers have enriched their work skills significantly, and their methods have become more attractive to students. They shared their knowledge and experience with other teachers, thanks to which schools became even more open to introducing modern technologies to teaching."

"The Project ""More tolerance, less ignorance"" is aimed at students of European schools aged 13-15 years. Its main purpose is to develop social, civic and intercultural competences of students. Today's everyday life in the schools and the environment of teenagers carries many manifestation of intolerance, where students are discriminated against different reasons: educational difficulties, economic obstacles, cultural differences, religious, social, health, and geographical obstacles, as well as different opinions. Intolerance is, unfortunately, a timeless problem, caused by failure or fear of knowing someone's culture, customs and traditions. The consequences of intolerance are: violence, hostility or injustice, and quite often depression or migration. Therefore, we will take action to tackle the problem of discrimination and segregation in our local environment, to combat aggression and cyber bulling, and to reduce disparities in the learning outcomes of people from disadvantaged backgrounds. As part of the project, students will learn and think about Human Rights and ways to combat stereotypes. In particular, we will work on discrimination and opportunities to cease such attitudes as racism, bulling, psychological and physical violence at school and in the network, persecution on grounds of religion, disability, poverty. Direct participants of the project will be 120 students from Primary School No. 3 in Zamość and from 5 partner schools in Europe: Portugal, Italy, Germany, Spain and Cyprus. We have planned 6 students short term mobilities, which will take of 4 students from each institution, which will give a total of 20 pupils per school attending in international meetings. The main language of communication will be English, which naturally develops linguistic competences and the ability to collaborate in a culturally diverse group. The project is planned for 2 years and the main planned activities are: scheduling activities, participants recruitment, local activities, international student short term group mobility, creating project's results, evaluation and monitoring activities, disseminating the outcomes of the project. International cooperation will not only teach tolerance and mutual respect, but the common actions of the pupils contribute to the awareness of the cultural characteristics of the nationalities involved, indicate timeless values, strengthen the key skills and enable the acquisition of new competences necessary for personal development and functioning in European society. Through the town activities, pupils will know the history and culture of the countries, they will use different information sources, prepare the materials needed for the project: presentations, films, interviews , folders, graffiti and leaflets promoting tolerance and anti-prejudice. In this way they will learn how to work with the project method, expand competences in the field of English, history, art and the wider culture. First of all, however, they will acquire the skills of cooperation in the international group, learn openness and tolerance, recognize the destructive impact of discriminatory behavior, develop social competences and improve skills in the field of Information and communication technologies. The results of our work will not only be developing the attitudes of the project participants and strengthen their competences, but also creating the website of the project, folders, posters, classes scenarios and designed and edited by the students Digital newspaper, presenting the effects of our actions and local activities of all schools. Working on the newspaper will continue even after the project will have been completed, and access to it will be possible for all Internet users, by posting a corresponding link on the websites of the schools. The cyber newspaper will include information on further actions undertaken by partner schools in the topic of popularizing attitudes of tolerance and openness to other cultures. This will allow schools, local and international communities to get known the results of the project and can inspire them to take similar activities in the daily school life. The coordinating team from each of the schools will be working on the implementation and monitoring of all activities. Teachers responsible for th the project will prepare the pupils to participation in it, they will organize appropriate trainings, meetings , workshops and visits. By disseminating the project results in the Inernet and on the Platform of Results we will give the opportunity to all interested in using the effects of our work. This will encourage other students, teachers and local environments to take similar challenges and establish international cooperation with other European institutions."

"As we said in the beginning, we are facing two major problems - bad influence on our students from internet YouTube personalities and youth unemployment, which is problem throughout Europe. We want to tackle both of those problems, and also to help our students to improve their academic performance; the whole project is designed to use the enthusiasm of our students and employees towards modern information and communication technologies and direct it towards educational goals and, possibly, into further careers. With this project, students will find creativity that they may not be able to exert enough in school, and perhaps this project will help them in their further work, life, progress, maybe someone will continue to post creative videos on their YouTube channel and in the future make money out of it. Exactly the same can be applied to teachers, we are witnessing that the world we live in is changing rapidly and that the need to use ICT in teaching is increasing and increasing (especially with the whole new concept of online teaching due to the pandemic of COVID-19) so why not to take advantage of the opportunities we have and make our teaching more inventive and meaningful? With that in mind, we have selected the objective of the project - innovative practices in digital era, with priorities - promoting entrepreneurship education and strengthening the profiles of teaching professions - this project wouldn't be just for students, it will be to help teachers, too. Each school will select, based on results of first activity - contest about creativity - 20 students, which will participate in this project - 120 in total. Up to 10 teachers will be also selected from each school, so the number is 60 total, but much more will gain the access to the results of this project trough it's YouTube and internet dissemination. Selecting students based on their creativeness and not on popularity will ensure that only the hardest working and gifted ones are selected for this project, which is our goal. The teachers will be also selected based on their motivation and willingness to participate in this kind of a project and they willingness to learn new techniques of teaching. All ""Learning, teaching training activities"" in partner countries have a specific topic, and all topics combined are defining this project. Beside the most logical activities for this project - learning about creativity, YouTubing, producing, filming, teaching, etc, we have also included the activities in which we will learn about new cultures, religions, regions of Europe, etc. So, this will be win-win situation for all parties included. All schools have their responsibilities in this project, from making a movie about it to coordinating everything to go as smooth as it can.The results of the project will be ensuring that all of project objectives are fulfilled. We will do everything that we have written here, and we will try to do even more, so that a lot of students and teachers, both those in and out of this project, can see the benefits of it and it's significance in modern day society. As the main objective is to create ""innovative practices in digital era"", we want to do exactly that, to create new approaches for something that everybody is taking for granted - new technologies and it's possibilities and uses in 21st century. With this project we want to promote entrepreneurship education in digital era and help our students realise their hidden potentials; with ""strengthening the profiles of teaching professions"" - we will do exactly like it's written - we will empower teachers to be more open to using digital tools and materials in everyday teaching, to have more self-esteem and to widen their knowledge about digital practice.Potential long-term benefits are enormous. Students will find their lost creativity and, hopefully, make into the world of inspiring YouTube personalities and creators. That is very important since we don't even know what would job market look like in ten, twenty years from now; basically, we will give our students a craft in their hands and make them ready for living. Teachers will use new things that they have learned during this project and incorporate it into their own everyday teaching, and, with dissemination of this project, larger teacher community in all towns where partner schools are from, will also have benefits of this project. Finally, with the website and twinspace platforms included, European colleagues will have the access to the results and best practices of our project."
