Totally agreeing with this goal defined by OEDC and in order to make it happened in our schools to fulfill those goals of OEDC to the future of education we created this project, based in cooperation at European level.I - We believe that developing student's soft skills and emotional intelligence will empower them to face the future challenges, as the current situation of the world pandemic is an example. As this is still a recent subject in European school’s curricula we decided to create this project and start a cooperation between five European schools which share the will and motivation to implement specific strategies and methods to develop emotional intelligence and soft skills at school context, on a consistent basis, in order to contribute to pupils' personal development and success. II - We try a different solution to an old problem: Often school failure is not related to learning difficulties, but it lies in deeper and more comprehensive causes of deficits in the soft skills, related to each pupil’s context as an individual and as a human and social being. In order to help those students, we need to empower them with the right skills, namely soft skills (self-esteem, autonomy, self-control resilience…) and emotional intelligence which will lead to the achievement of one or two of the main objectives. III – We want to give importance to motivation. In the era of digital transformation, it is even more difficult to motivate students for traditional school tasks, so teachers need to be empowered with new educational strategies and resources to increase pupils’ motivation and efficacy. We will use multimedia to motivate and engage students in school projects and to promote communication at and from school to the world. With this project we want to reach these main objectives: Increase motivation at school, for learners and teachers; Reinforce students’ engagement in school projects; Enhance social skills through team work and several common activities among partners; Improve social and interpersonal relationship between students; Develop emotional intelligence in learners and staff; Develop soft skills for learners and staff; Use multimedia (video) to increase communication at school and between schools; Develop specific skills on audiovisual and multimedia (to create short movies and video contents); Reinforce awareness of European cultural diversity; Increase the use of ICT in all phases of the project; Increase digital literacy using multiple digital resources to search and share knowledge about emotional intelligence and different topics; Use foreign languages to communicate and present specific contents ; Increase foreign languages skills for students and teachers;Methodology: Phase I - Each partner school will focused on a specific method and activity and will implement it in its school. Phase II - They share the method / strategy and results with partners through eTwinning. Phase III - Each school experiments other's strategies/methods with their own classes and share comments, results and assessment reports with partners through eTwinning. Phase IV- Each school will experiment their most efficient strategies/methods in site, with partners, during transnational pupils' exchanges, involving students from all partnering schools. All coordinators analyse the strategy/method and do the assessment report, to decide if and how these methods will be part of the e-guide. We'll use a big variety of methods: Team work; active learning; gaming; debate; drama...Tangible Results: e-guide (on students’ soft skills enchanement); Presentations (Prezi, PowerPoint, PowToon or similar);Theater play;Video documentary;Video Festival; Project Website;YouTube channel;Web page; eTwinning TwinSpace; Photo album (digital);Photo exhibition; Art exhibition; Project song; We will monitor and assess each activity during and at the end to measure in what extend it has contributed to the project goals, using questionnaires to all participants and observers (students and teachers, parents and other member of local community eventually involved). We will also do the assessment of each pupils' exchange as a whole activity in order to evaluate if and in what extend we achieved that meeting predefined goals. The assessment methodology will include questionnaires (Google forms) for all participants, teachers, parents but also interviews to guests and reports for teachers from the host school to report their students ""behavior"" comparing everyday with that Erasmus week and finally the very important teachers' and students' grids we will fill in to check the efficacy of each activity in developing motivation, soft skills and emotional intelligence. To spread and dissemination we'll have events in all schools, a flash drive with the e-guide; websites; YouTube channel;on-line TV."

Throughout history, the world has always been connected by the sea in different ways. Humans depend on the sea when it comes to food, work and transportation. With this partnership, our aim is to develop a project that focuses on the sea from different perspectives; as a way of connecting people, reinforce peaceful relationships, as a source of creating job opportunities and as an energy and food resource. Moreover, the project will empasise that the sea is and marine life are under threat. Pollution, climate change and waste, such as plastic, is currently a major concern and can ruin the sea as a food resource. The seas are interconnected, and thus the preservation of the seas is a common resposibility. The project will also emphasize fundamental European values such as democracy, diversity, peace and solidarity. In addition to these central values, other important objectives will emphasize increased social competence for the participating countries through the planned activities as well as digital and artistic expression in various ways. The participants will improve their knowledge about the sea on different levels: history, geography, politics, science, Languages, career opportunities and raised awareness of the preservation of the marine biodiversity and a sustainable development are all central objectives of the project. The activites and concrete results of the project will involve presentations, creative work such as theatre and video documentary, the creation of a website, a webpage on E-twinning, different awareness campaigns, career fairs, film festivals and art exhibitions. Various and many dissemination activities will be crucial throughout the entire project. In addition to the involvement of the partner school, the local community will also take part in activities related to the project where local media and politicians will be invited. The five participating schools are each connected to their sea: Ingieråsen Skole in Norway is located by the North Sea and the Norwegian Sea, Agrupamento de Escolas Morgado de Mateus in Portugal is located by the Atlantic Sea, The High School of Petra, in the island of Lesvos in Greece is located in the Mediterranean Sea, Scoala Gimnaziala Nr. 1 Unirea in Romania is located by The Black Sea and Collège Beauséjour in French Martinique in the Caribbean basin. Together this will contribute to increased understanding of the way the sea works as all partner schools are able to experience the sea and its biodiversity up close. The sea will function as a common platform to achieve increased understanding and this will unite all the partner schools. The project will give 100 students opportunity to participate in a short-term exchange. These will be chosen to reflect the profile of the school in total, bringing students with different socio-economic background together bringing a broader perspective to the project. In addition to the traveling students, the project will also involve several classes from each of the five schools aiming to involve a total of thousand students. For the involved students it will be a unique possibility to increase their foreign language competence and motivation in language learning, use foreign language in daily life through practice, develop self-expression skills, increase career opportunities, increase awareness, understanding, tolerance and respect not only of cultural and social differences between nations, but also for our seas. For teachers, it will be a great chance to be engaged in European collective team work and interdisciplinary cooperation, improve their pedagogical skills by exchanging and sharing teaching methods, good practices and ideas that will enrich their professional expertise and develop teaching skills with innovative approaches for communicative skills. The potential long term benefits of the project is to make our students aware of European diversity as a good value and of the sea as a common treasure and a collective responsibility. We intend to reinforce their conscience as European citizens sharing the same values: respecting and valuing diversity, being tolerant, sense of responsibility, caring for the sea preservation. Our results, reports and website will serve as a resource and inspiration for all stakeholders. Our project may function as ""a drop in the sea"" when it comes to highlightening and raising awareness of the importance and preservation of the sea. However, through our dissemanation activities the partners will act as an important voice in our communities and beyond. After all, many drops make a sea."

We are convinced that our project will help to expand the feeling of being European and all the values involved, affecting present and future generations. Values such as freedom, equality, tolerance, dignity, progress and respect, among others, are present in the whole project. In this context, students show signs of low motivation in schools and we want to redirect this situation. Our experience, enthusiasm and motivation will be key to conduct an original and successful project.OBJECTIVES AND PRIORITIESThe main goal is to establish a fluid communication channel between school and real life. Early school leaving is one of the issues in our educational system and we want to have the opportunity to work together in order to change this situation. We combine multidisciplinary and innovative approaches, letting students create new scenarios out of the classroom, on the streets of the old medieval towns to be precise, experiencing history from another perspective. That way, they can enhance their skills such as creativity, teamwork, critical thinking and, obviously, communication skills in English. Another priority is to raise environmental awareness in order to leave a better future for next generations. And finally, we cannot forget about social inclusion. For this reason, audiovisual content will be created so that it is available for the most disadvantaged children.PARTICIPANTSCultural heritage is a magnificent tool to learn about the past and understand the present time. Teachers and students will discover the history and the magic of the Middle Ages through different myths and legends hidden behind the heritage of the regions. Students are the main characters in this adventure. The direct participants in each mobility are 6 students from 14 to 17 years old and 2 teachers. However, all the students of the centre will participate in some of the tasks, for example, the logo competition and the compilation of legends, with the goal of getting to know each other and strengthening their European roots. As our goal is to reduce school dropout rates, the project will be used to motivate them. The criteria to select the students are: great interest, communication skills in English, teamwork skills and good behaviour. Some available places are reserved for students with disabilities or social problems. All students will get help from teachers to carry out the activities successfully.ACTIVITIESThe topics will be changed in each mobility but the structure is the same. It is always preceded by an ice-breaking game as a starting point to get to know each other and strengthen ties. They will have previously interacted using the eTwinning platform.1. RESEARCH. The goal is to get to know and study the medieval heritage of the place that is being visited, as well as its myths and legends. The host country provides a guided tour, and students have different materials to work on and do the tasks properly.2. RECORDINGS. An audiovisual product with academic content will be created (storytelling, comics, puppets...) based on a medieval legend or myth from the region.3. ESCAPE ROOM. This activity is created using problems of scientists / mathematicians from the Middle Ages (Leonardo Da Vinci, Newton, Descartes and Fibonacci). All the teachers of the different schools will help to prepare the content using a platform called Genially.4. GUILDS. Each country has a specific guild and provides all the necessary materials to make products of the time (bread, paper, ceramics and soap).RESULTS AND DISSEMINATION- Students will be more motivated to work on school projects and won’t leave school prematurely.- To strengthen awareness of cultural heritage and European values through history “in situ”.- To improve ICT skills by creating a platform where they will share their personal and learning experiences and products. Platforms like eTwinning, Twinspace and Genially will also be used.- The audiovisual final product, the escape room activity and all handmade products will be donated to different NGOs.- The host school will prepare a report to analyse the results of the project and its possible improvements. The final results will be presented to other educational community members, families, authorities and neighborhood, so that they get involved in the project. At local and regional level, it will be disseminated via written press and TV. At national and international level, all the materials will be available to anyone interested (E+PRP platform). Seminars will be held to disseminate and explain the results of the project. However, the most important goal is to push the boundaries of the eTwinning platform and to be able to use it in daily classroom work, promoting new innovative ways of teaching and learning.

To reach this main goal our objective was to create a pedagogical tool, a kind of guidebook with several methods and activities to teach values to pupils from 6 to 15 years old. By the time the project was thought there was no legal framework in schools to teach citizenship. This is the reason why and how seven schools from different countries (Portugal, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Poland and Slovakia) sharing the same concern and being aware of the relevance of education for citizenship and the lack of specific pedagogical tools and guidelines to teach values in school, worked together during three years to improve citizenship teaching and learning and created a ""guidebook"" for other teachers. The project was based on three main ideas:Diversity (learning about ourselves and each other for better mutual understanding), Unity (by learning about European common values shared by all European citizens) and Contribution for a better world by individual and collective action (being aware of each person's role on making a better world, by living according to those values). First, each school searched about its own history and culture, by studying local myths and legends and looking for the values under them; then studying local and national heroes, and visiting historical places and relating them to any national/ ethical values. This was our strategy to help students to find the European common values through the acceptance of their own traditions and cultural values.During the second and third years all partners searched, created and gathered new methods, strategies, activities, educational games to teach and learn values at school, which were written down in a common form and tested in each school with the classes involved in the project. The methods that seemed to be efficient were shared with all partners to be experimented also in other countries' schools. The most interesting activities were selected to be tried with groups of students from different countries during the pupils' exchanges in Italy, Bulgaria, Slovakia and Lithuania and assessed by teachers and participants on those activities / games. Finally, (2nd and 3rd years) all partners contributed to the booklet with the best methods and games collected and tried by all schools. This guide book with the methods to teach and learn European citizenship was made during the third year and was the main final product of the project. It was prepared in two versions: printed and digital book. This eBook was shared and spread all over the countries to be used by many schools at regional, national and European level..This project had also a creative /artistic dimension for students, with different common activities to promote creativity and team work which produced nice material products: paintings inspired in national legends, a piece of art / handcraft inspired in culture and values (one per country), the lyrics for the project song using a Beatles' music and the creative and collective writing during all project: students participants at the project meetings worked together, as a team, to create a collective story about an “ideal world” where all live according to the universal values. This collaborative work was done during the pupils’ exchanges, where they also learned some ICT tools to help them with the presentation of outcomes. Concerning the collective story project's work was done in phases, one part during each pupils' exchange meeting and finished in Lithuania (October/19) a bit later than the planned date, because students needed more time to finish it. This story was illustrated and we made an eBook and a printed version of it. We had a strong engagement of students during the project activities, mainly the methods' experiments to which assessment they contributed to. Our guide book was shared and spread in all partner countries as a relevant tool for all teachers. Each partner school organized dissemination events (teachers conferences opened to local community) to spread the project product. Portuguese team made a pen drive containing the eBook and other project products and offered it to all headteachers from many schools of the region, who participated at the ""Citizenship European Conference"", organized by Portuguese School, which also made postcards with the methods written on it, to send to many schools (every school year) inviting teachers to use our guidebook. The eBook was also posted on the project web site (7colours.eu), eTwinning (my twinspace) and on the project page on Facebook. All guide book contents are printable and available to any teacher."
