<< Objectives >>A network of youth organisations of different backgrounds and experience that will enable them to work together on developing educational materials, both printed and online, for young people in the field of environmental sustainability. These will be disseminated at public events in partners’ local communities and online via project website. In a long-term perspective, this network will work on extending the membership and creating more sustainable solutions and environmental education.<< Implementation >>The partners of Eco-edu hub project will implement the following activities in order to achieve project objective: 1) Partners monthly online meetings, 2) Production of printed and online pdf brochures/leaflets in 4 partners’ languages and in English, 3) Video shooting sessions in order to create 6 video tutorials and 4) Public awareness campaign.We will also work on establishing a strong network between the partners during the project to ensure that we can collaborate on future joint projects.<< Results >>A small network for environmental education will be created of 4 youth organisations from the EU and Western Balkans region. The network of project partners will work on creating educational materials about environmental sustainability. Public-awareness campaigns are planned in partners’ local communities promoting sustainable lifestyle and trans-national cooperation in this field will be organised. The activities foreseen to achieve this result will be 12 local actions in 4 countries.

<< Objectives >>By implementing this project we want to promote and increase climate literacy skills for 150 youth, to educate local people and to support a strong civic engagement component in connection with the impacts of climate change and disinformation. We aim to develop an online platform of free, easily accessible materials for the general public, experts, teachers and trainers. Our project will bring together small organizations and European citizens to address the issues of environmental change.<< Implementation >>We aim to conduct a research in order to tackle the needs of young people regarding climate literacy education, we will develop a training course in each country to promote green education and literacy, we will support the development of the awareness campaigns which the youth will hold in local communities, and we will conduct a final online conference for a larger public at which we will promote our online platform of resources and good practices collected throughout the project.<< Results >>We expect participants to develop critical thinking and climate literacy skills, in addition to green education. We expect them to further take initiatives in their local communities and to further promote the importance of climate literacy education in our era. We aim to bring together small communities across Europe through the online platforms in order for them to learn, further use and promote all the methods and instruments collected by the participating organizations in the project.
