"Our project ""EVERY CHILD IS SPECIAL"" has been developed in order to increase the quality of education of the BEP (Individualized Education Program) students in our partner schools and the competence of our teachers in this regard. The most important issue that we agree on with our partners is learning and discover of innovative methods that can meet the variable needs and demands of our students with special needs at the highest level. According to our aim, our project activities are determined in four different categories, each will be held in different countries. These categories are determined according to the areas where countries are strong in practice.1) Students with Visual Impairment (Turkey)2) Students with Auditory Problems (North Macedonia)3) Students with Physical Disabilities (Romania)4) Students with Learning Disabilities and lack of Attention (Greece)Teachers who will see school technics, technical opportunities, education in arts and sports in different countries for students with special needs , also have the opportunity to apply these experiences in their schools. It is one of our most important objectives to provide our educational, intellectual and cultural development by transforming these experiences into knowledge and learning opportunities for a quality education. For this purpose, technology class, art class and sports hall in our schools will be developed for the high benefit of our students.Instead of a boring and outdated curriculum, it is the most important place in strategic planning that our students will be educated with an innovative and supportive curriculum learned from their experts.. With this project, many achievements will be gain in social, cultural and pedagogical terms.. While creating our activities in our project, workshops, exhibitions and games are especially designed to strengthen students' participation.Theoretical trainings make up the second main focus of our project. We have developed the materials with a holistic approach, considering all other environmental factors that affect the education of the family, school and student. During the project, the training groups consisting of academics of the Special Education and Social Work department of Hacettepe University – our project partner – will provide a training in each country that is suitable for the subject of the international meeting. After the project, they will also continue to support the whole group. Additionally, regarding to this theoretical trainings, each country will organize family trainings. Academic Skills Group, Teacher Support Group and Family Support Group trainings will be conducted for this purpose. It is envisaged that this support will be transformed into a cycle that covers not only Individual Education Programs (IEP) but also the monitoring and evaluation process. After the activities we will implement during the project, the Academic Skills Group will be an observation and support group that will measure the competencies of our teachers about IEP. In order to ensure that this cycle operates in a healthy way, the level of achievement of the targeted IEP’s objectives will be evaluated and IEPs will be reconstructed as a result of this evaluation. It is predicted that participant’s success in IEP will increase, which it will directly promote students' self-confidence and productivity. The seminars and workshops that we will make on this subject will be recorded as videos and shared with other schools, and also they will be posted on the websites of the project and schools too.Hacettepe University School Social Work Practice and Research Center (HOSMER) is a center that develops and implements many national and international innovative projects in the field of school social work. In our project, the director of this center acts as the coordinator of project partner (Hacettepe University), strengthening the quality of our practices. This, together with our partner schools, facilitates our goals for disseminating the results of our project and institutionalizing the school social work. For this reason, we pay special attention to disseminating the results of our project, increasing its efficiency and evaluation. In this project, E-books and DVDs containing each country's own activity plans and project results will be duplicated and distributed. In addition, after the project, the participants will share their experiences on IEP in neighboring schools with their colleagues. We believe that our project, which we have created to ensure that our IEP students receive education with the most accurate approaches, will be an example project for other schools.."

The project “Meet up with the future” can be divided into two themes; Addressing basic skills through more effective teaching methods. Integration of ICT and integration of literacy and creative writing, using technology and devices in the classroom. Reading among children today is of grate concern, they read less and less, they spend a lot of time in front of their computers but not using the programs teachers and parents would like them to use. Teachers have difficulties following up new methods and reaching out to students to increase their interests and improvement in reading. We want to combine our knowledge and skills and change that. We want to make reading interesting and fun, get the students involved, get the teachers involved. We want to make a project that combines digital competence to use of ICT in the classroom and using different kinds of programs which suit our purpose to increase interest in reading among youths. Digital Competence is one of the Key Competence according to DICOMB, 2013 (see attachment) and can be defined as the confident, critical and creative use of ICT (DICOMB, 2013) to achieve goals related to education and participation in today‘s society. What this science and policy report recognizes is that the creative use of ICT in the classroom is essential for students to develop in a changing world of education. Diverse use of devices, programs and ICT in a new report (2015 NMC) recognizes that a digital fluency of teachers is a great challenge, to keep up with new technology and be confident to use it in the classroom is often difficult to pursue. We decided to set our focus on what we believe to be the main technologies to watch, and combine that to our theme of increasing interest to read along with the programs and devices that we already have. According to the report Scandinavian 2015 technological outlook (2015 NCM) there are “12 technologies to watch“ for the coming years. We will focus on 8 of them in our project, that is; Bring your own device, Cloud computing, Tablet computing, Flipped classroom, Mobile Apps, Social networks, 3d printing and programming. Our outcomes are as listed in our application. We did and have a website were all our projects are listed when possible. The short films were too big and our printed version of our short-story book is not there. We did make short movies and every participating country used different digital programs to make the movies which was very interesting to watch and learn different style. The short-movies we showed in Norway were parents and other staff came to watch and participate in the workshop. In the workshop we made films in Clips and animated movies. Our introduction of famous local authors we did in Czech were parents were invited. We did that introduction in the public library and that was very provoking for our students to have prepared lecture/introduction to perform in a public place. In Germany the students read there short-stories at a restaurant with parents and invited guests. They read their stories on a big stage and the atmosphere was magical. It ended with all the Erasmus students on the stage singing “We are the world” that was amazing moment. We made ghost-stories that we listened to in our Theater in Vestmannaeyjar with the lights off which gave extra thrill. We did combine technology and programs with our goal to increase the use of technology in the classroom and increase interest in reading among our pupils. Research reveals that the vast majority of teenagers has stopped reading books for pleasure. This is a development which we would be interested in halting and reversing. According to the results of the PISA... study, performed in 2010, among participating countries reading comprehension of students in 10th grade in Iceland and Turkey was not acceptable. In Germany, Norway and the Czech Republic the results were more acceptable but there was a definitive room for improvement. We believe that it would be in our interest to have a closer look at what they have done to increase literacy and we would like to make our students enthusiastic by combining technology, equipment and interesting assignments which might promote more interest in literacy among students. We would like to increase the interest level of students with assignments where they can express and enjoy themselves. To get them involved in communicating their skills by teaching others. We want to increase interest in creative writing and reading with the aid of instruments that the students are already using, such as computers, smart phones and tablets (Android, Apple, Nokia etc.) and free applications like Kahoot, Google docs...We want to try to increase the knowledge and comfort levels of teachers in using the above technology. Our plan is to implement a system whereby each participating country takes on the responsibility of developing a defined part of the project and then presents their part to the other countries.

"""I’ve got the POWER"" is a school exchange partnership in the field of education supporting exchange of good practices, with 6 schools from Italy, Poland, Turkey, Spain, Malta and Portugal. The project was planned for school students between 14 and 16 years old girls and boys.Smartphones are becoming a grand element in the lives of students. Nowadays as more and more students are spending their time to look at their smartphones. Smartphone use is negatively correlated with resilience, psychological well-being, life satisfaction and mindfulness. It is a very bad habit to break and it threatens physical, social and mental well-being of students.Students who spent more time on social media, gaming, texting and chatting on their smartphones were not as happy as those who played sports, went outside and interacted with human beings. Using smartsphones prevent them having face to face conversations, developing social and personal skills and getting healthy. According to our resarch we found that pupils are spending less time meeting friends, socialising while increasing their time online. it is hard to stop yourself from repeatedly checking pages, emails or apps. Heavy smartphone use can often be symptomatic of other underlying problems, such as stress, depression or loneliness. Briefly; the students are deprived of many benefits, doing sports can provide them.Doing sports can help our students make friends, develop self-esteem and self-discipline, learn about team work, develop mental, physical and social skills, happy, active, getting fit and healthy. After tracking situations of our students, we decided to get our students away from smartphones by directing them to other hobbies and activities, such as sports which has been a crucial part of many education systems.Project partners offer sports such as:Trekking, Table and Court Tennis, Cycling, Canoeing, Kitesurfing, Rugby, Running, Floarball, Paddle Surf, Bubblesoccer, Tree Climbing, Archery, Swimming, Basketball, Volleyball, Handball, Badminton, Orienteering, Weightlifting, Taekwondo, Waterpolo. Thinking that project launches a sport campaign as offering solutions to using more smartphones our students will exercise and train form of sport regularly. This project also include walking and running groups, briefly a range of multi sport and physical activity groups. Teams and Individual sports competitions will take place during the project as well. The competitions will take place in both national and international activities and they require regular training of the students in teams or individually depending on the sports what they choose. Also we will organise seminars and conferance about the benefits of sports and about smartphone addiction. We will invite professional sportsmen to our schools and they will have conversations with our students about healthy lifestyles. Peer mentoring programme will be introduced (It will be formed between the pupils who do sport properly and the ones who don't)We will learn traditional sports and street games eachothers. Traditional dancing altogether with songs which are popular in the host countries provides the students enjoy being together on an international dimension. This kind of activities also makes them socialize with each other easily. We will also do nature-outdoor sports.Other activity is an unusual-interesting sports. We offers opportunities to take up a new sport. This sports will have attract students' attention and have fun.Our Project is supposed to turn our students' attention to the sports. They should stop wasting time on smartphones for all day long and start active. It doesnt't matter how and where they do sports , there will be many ability they develop thanks to doing sports and can carry them to their future lives as a positive contribution. Encouraing students start participating in sports, they are far more likely to stay active, healthy, be self confident, happy and successful as they grow older. Also sports builds their ability to concentrate and focus in class. Sport can bring all the people together, no matter what their origin, background, religious beliefs or economic status. When students participate in our project, they can experience real joy, stop wasting time in front of their smarsphones and getting healty.Getting motivated to learn or improving their foreign languages are the natural consequences of the partnerships. All the activities of the project highlight the impact of physical education and sport on students’ social and moral developmentThe number of participants is limited in internationally however in our national activities much more students, teachers and parents will participate in.We built a reliable partnership via eTwining and former contacts. We have a resource and aggrement plan, documented objective and goals and improved team communication strategies and well organised dissemination activities."

Through a long period of corona pandemic, our project has become even more important. We still need all students to be happy so that future generations can contribute to a more peaceful and prosperous world. It is also one of the main goals of the EU: promoting peace and well-being for the citizens of the Union. Quality of education and school happiness are inseparable, and that happiness and well-being should not only be considered as a goal for education systems, but also as means for higher education outcomes and success in future life and work. There is a clear need for more time and space in schools, whether it is time set aside for leisure activities or the preparation of fun and engaging learning methods, or when it comes to space for students to express themselves more freely. We still hope that our project has helped the students to grow mentally, mentally, socially and emotionally. It will keep them healthy, give them exposure to learn through others, and try new things, develop their talents, whether it is in ICT, music, art or sports. It will emphasize the need for more fun and engaging learning approaches to make the teaching and learning process more fun for both students and teachers. It will highlight the need for 21st century teachers who are both equipped and supported to use innovative teaching and learning strategies.Through active participation, dances, songs, arts and crafts, sports and via new technology, teachers and students have further developed an understanding of each other's culture and traditions. They have also improved their foreign languages. It has also strengthened the feeling of being one in a united Europe. The project activities have increased the collaboration between schools and students from different European countries. The activities have made it possible for students to explore, understand, describe and compare and contrast lifestyles throughout Europe. Some of the concrete outcome of our project is creating logos and designing mascot competition, making dance videos, “Erasmus+Corner'' was made in every school to visualise our project, movies of trips were made after meetings, presentation of countries, cities, schools, A 2-year calendar was made both digital and printed, Music festivals and shows where organized, a lot of nature activity has been done such as mountain hike, swimming, tennis, horseback riding, visiting museums and Zoo, voluntary work once a year, Outdoor picnic and going to concerts. We also have done a lot of seminars on ICT on education applications for teachers and students presented in meetings such as Storybird, Padlet, Tagul, Scratch, Puppet Pals, Creaza and of course made a website for our project and Facebook and whatsApp group for communication. Very good and varied programs for our exchanges in the partner countries were also completed according to our plan. In Turkey we completed Tennis, outdoor field trip, museum, jigsaw exhibition, presentations about local artists, Marbling art, Just-dance and Nintendo Wii video game and Zumba. In Hungary we did Makerspace science lab, Robotics workshop, Karaoke, Horse Riding, outdoor field trip, Visiting Zoo, swimming and water sports in thermal spa. ICT seminar on program Scratch, presentation on cyberbullying, traditional dance, Leonardo da Vinci Exhibition. In Norway it was arranged disco with sharing of music Spotify lists, Yoga, Climbing indoor, outdoor swimming, ICT seminar on creaza and Puppet Pals, mountain hike and guided new-art tour among others. Our Irish partner school unfortunately had to withdraw before the project. We have solved this by sharing the planned activities for Ireland into the remaining partner countries and used grants to bring more participants for the other mobilities. All completed results correspond well to the priorities of the project that is finding joy and happiness through learning in creative and practical ways through sports, music, art, recreational activities and and technology. Planned activities for the meeting in Funchal, Madeira were canceled due to coronavirus but we will do the ICT activities that originally were planned for Portugal online during the upcoming school year. We will arrange google meet or zoom meetings and use video apps biteable, powtoon, animot and edmodo during the online education. This will also strengthen the sustainability of the project.
