Researches show that between 92 and 94 million adults in the EU – i.e. 22 % to 23 % of Europeans aged over 15 – are involved in volunteering. A Eurobarometer survey published in April 2015, revealed that the most common areas for volunteering are charity, humanitarian and development aid (44 %); education, training or sport (40 %), and culture or art (15 %). Their activities are usually aimed at a local community (66 %) or the volunteer’s country as a whole (27 %). Cross-border volunteering remains modest, with only 7 % of activities being aimed at another EU country, and 11 % at other parts of the world.Project’s overall Aim: Support for social engagement of young people, youth workers and youth organisations through volunteering and capacity building actions with direct impact to boost active citizenship, inclusion, cross sectoral cooperation and quality of youth work in the local communities. The project is a continues cooperation of the approved project Volunteering Connecting Communities enriched with more actions and valuable tools to be used in the local level. Volunteering helps citizens to connect with others in their local communities who may be from entirely different backgrounds. It creates bonds and shared identities that go beyond superficial differences that might otherwise seem important. Volunteering also provides a meaningful way of grappling with social problems – for example, reducing social isolation or improving mental health – for both the volunteer and the communities being supported the volunteering. The theory of change we would like to propose is a combination of tools in local and European level. Each local campaign planned in the local community would promote volunteering concept as effective ways to normalize daily life. Objectives: • To build capacities of partner CSOs working with young people with fewer opportunities, their beneficiaries and volunteers on volunteering and its qualitative management• To develop further and support existing local volunteering infrastructures (volunteers Hubs) through cross sectorial approach • To plan and implement awareness raising campaign on promotion and values of volunteer work in local communities• To share best practices, exchange “know how” and establishing bridges of closer cooperation with various stakeholdersThe final project beneficiaries (people in local communities, elderly, minorities, and people with disabilities) will directly benefit from developed capacities of target group, as these capacities will enable more quality identification of needs, planning, implementation and securing the support of volunteering programmes focused on improving the quality of their lives. Therefore, the partner’s consortium expects to have a positive impact and to improve planning and implementation of quality volunteering programmes focused at local communities by achieving the following action results and outcomes in support of overall aim and specific action objectives.

Today children are born into the world of technology. Most of the children start pre-primary school knowing how to use smartphones or tablets. But most of them know how to play games, as they grow up, they start using social media and other online games. Since the parents and teachers do not know the educational sites or how to use or adapt them into their lessons or curriculum, the children become addicted to tablets and they begin to break up school because they got bored of traditional methods which the teachers use. They even don’t do their homework because they don’t like using pen or paper. They think spending time to write legible is waste of time.In2018 with the leadership of Czech partner Czechia and Turkey met on an Etwinnning project platform and started to use some web2 tools . Their enthusiasm to speak English, to use web2 tools and to get online on eTwinning inspired Czech and the other institutions. As a result the Czech partner wanted to spread this to other countries’ directorates and show the efficient way of being successful by using web2 tools. We are 7 institutions that have come together with the same problems and with the same goals. All our objectives and goals met the Et2020. This Project “The Power of digischools” has been created by aims to adapt these 21st century skills. By learning different web2 tools to be integrated into lessons we will find out and improve students’ critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, creative thinking skills and communicative thinking skills. More than 2000 participants will play active role in project activities. The profiles of the participants have one in common. They all met web2 tools very short time ago and all of them are willing to adapt them into their curriculum. The games, digital storytelling and evaluation web2 tools will be adapted. Games will enable students have fun while learning. Games could be adapted to each lesson so that next generations will also use and get the most benefit from them. It will improve coordination and problem solving skills, enhance memory and multitasking skills, improve attention and concentrationDigital storytelling will improve their creative thinking skill and this will motivate them to obtain new skills to ensure they succeed. It will mix different media and skills, and that creates a powerful exchange of information. Students will work together, learn from each other and recognize the value of storytelling as an art form. They will learn from their peers by developing awareness and even empathy based on the digital stories they choose to create and share with each other and online.Learning to evaluate assessment using web2 tools teachers will save time Instead of assessing papers, they will get instant results or feedbacks and thus can prepare extra activities for students to practise. Online examinations are highly interactive, customizable, trustworthy, secure, and can be accessed in multiple devices. It also improves students’ performance a better engagement.By learning what to change into digital and what not to; we will be aware of that everything do not need to be changed into digital, some traditional methods are still essential for students learning. The methodology used is based on the principles of learning-by-doing, peer-education, team working and collaborative learning, with a strong focus on developing problem solving skills via web2 tools. The impact of the project will be European wide. More than 400 schools will be aware of our project by the cooperation of Education Directorates. Our books will reach more than 10000 students and 1000 teachers. The exchange and combination of a variety of working methods, teaching styles and competences will also allow developing a common, work-based learning methodology, which will be replicable and adaptable to different contexts and in different European countries. Teachers and trainers will increase their relevant didactic and methodological skills, and will promote collaboration between schools and companies/organizations across Europe
