According to a study on the SME's impact on the EU labor market published by the European Commission in January 2012, 85% of new jobs created in the EU between 2002 and 2010 were in fact created by SMEs. The consortium has left the hypothesis that the business and make it prosper it will be a challenge, regardless to the location or environment of the entrepreneur. There were various business creation and development barriers that hampered even the most courageous entrepreneurs. The lack of entrepreneurial culture and the knowledge of some tools needed to create companies limit the survival of companies and prevent persons with relevant ideas to implement it. An OECD study, indicated that on average, one third of new European enterprises did not survive its first year of existence. The results obtained from the research carried out within the project indicated the need to develop services, including guidance and counseling services, of young entrepreneurs to implement their business idea. In this respect, the most obvious challenge was to adequately contextualize the business idea by combining some fundamental aspects that were preliminary to creating the business. As far as small, small and medium enterprises are concerned, the results of the research reveal from the entrepreneurs a significant level of uncertainty and concern over the economic situation, the obstacles that may arise in the path of the necessary and continuous process of innovation and change. In these sense a consortium of 6 organizations from 6 different countries (Italy, Slovakia, France, Turkey, Spain, Romania) aimed to provide potential entrepreneurs with support, training and guidance. This project was about sharing knowledge and experience and developed pertinent tools for startups. This project intended to provide a sustained support to entrepreneurs through a system already existing in France, called ""CAE Co-op"". This feature allowed persons, often away from employment, to test their business idea before creating their own business enjoying a support and training for entrepreneurship. Emphasis was be placed on developing the capacity of trainers, counselors, coach and consultants in entrepreneurship to guide better the entrepreneurs on trial. The pilot project within this program was fully involving a 24 people with this profile, who was coached by professional trainers for entrepreneurship, receiving all the necessary tools to start their own business. Once the system made its evidence, it might be a system open to all unemployed people of these area, in particular the young people who were particularly attracted by this kind of system (already proven in France). The specific objectives were:- To develop entrepreneurial skills of persons excluded from employment, especially young people.- To strengthen support and secure the path of entrepreneurs.- Professionalization of support entrepreneurship operators through the development of a common framework for entrepreneurship training adapted to the context of respectively four territories referred by the project , drawing French, and Slovak tools.- Creation of a network involving the formation operators, economic integration, coaching and social entrepreneurship through the establishment of a platform for economic initiative.- Exploitation of results at regional and national levels.- Undertake an effective dissemination and exploitation plan, in order to spread the results and reach the highest number of end users and beneficiaries, to ensure that the results of the project will be sustainable also after the end of it."

It is often associated to neurodegenerative diseases, strokes or head and neck cancers, but it may also occur in children with congenital or developed disorders. Dysphagia, or swallowing impairment, is frequently linked to dehydration and malnutrition, and has negative consequences for quality of life and participation in social activities involving eating and drinking. The success of their appropriate nutrition and social integration depends to a large degree on the education of their caregivers, both in the home and institutional backgrounds. Unfortunately, there is a great variability on the support and assistance in feeding, including how food texture is modified and meals preparation and serving. It is recognised that there is a gap for education on diet. The main objective of the INDEED project is to improve the dietetic management of the oropharyngeal dysphagia by offering innovative learning methods. INDEED project target groups are mainly two: on the one hand, people with dysphagia, families and caregivers, on the other hand, adults educators who support families, caregivers and people with dysphagia from a multidisciplinary point of view (speech therapists, kitchen staff, dieticians, students…). The specific objectives of this project are the following: To investigate the overall situation about dysphagia management in partner countries; to increase the public awareness on dysphagia condition and bringing it up in the agenda of national policy makers; to create innovative and user-friendly tools both for caregivers and for adults in charge of dysphagia patients; and to create an innovative, international and multidisciplinary network that engages professionals from different areas. All the objectives have been designed to facilitate effective tools that improve eating inclusion of dysphagia patients. The project has been designed through a strategic partnership, between 6 members from 5 different countries. It is composed by partners with technical and clinical expertise, partners with experience on innovative adult education, partners that offer technological support, partners that address social inclusion and organizations aimed to implement the learning tools in nursing houses, hospitals and associations. The participating organizations are: one non-profit organization (acting as coordinator and representing over 28 organizations which provide services to people with all kind of disabilities), two universities and one high school, one local public authority and one technological partner. The partners are based in Spain (lead partner), Lithuania, Italy, Turkey and Greece. Those objectives will be achieved through 6 different workpackages, including activities related to project management (WP1), development of intellectual outputs (WP2), learning activities (WP3) and multiplier activities (WP4) and tasks related to dissemination. Some activities linked to quality and evaluating aspects are also considered (WP6). Regarding the methodology, it is intended to be an innovative, highly accessible and updated learning and training based on a e-learning platform adapted to different users: families, caregivers and users with dysphagia. It will be assisted by a network of multidisciplinary professionals in dysphagia management. It will include recipe books, videos and experiences around food together with training in the framework of safety and medical aspects for these users. The international learning meeting between trainers and users that allows the adaptation of the learning module contents and the e-learning to the requirements of the users with dysphagia as well as social integration through the participation on the development of the contents. The methodology will ensure internal communication and external dissemination. Besides, the multipliers event will contribute to the exploitation of project results. The main results and envisaged impact are the following:- To improve the diet and nutrition on dysphagia condition through learning and innovation. -To improve the knowledge about dysphagia management in house and institution environment.- Update the learning approach on dysphagia dietetic management.- To improve the social integration of people with dysphagia and their families - To improve the access to adult education for all the society. Considering the food demand of this aging and urbanising population “Urban Agriculture”(UA) has become of great interest in finding new answers for how cities can master recent agricultural, social, economic, and ecological challenges. UA takes place in many styles, and through the involvement of many different kinds of stakeholders. Thousands of new-incomers to UA are expected, including not only agricultural students or professional farmers but also unemployed youth, social & educational bodies, environmental actors, general public(who have concerns on aforementioned issues) each of them requiring all of whom need specific technical competences in UA. A partnership from 4 Southern European countries(FR, IT, ES, TR) has come together to benefit from this emerging and innovative sector to find futuristic solutions for four main needs and relevant opportunities in the innovative sector of UA:-Engineering and agricultural innovations within urban systems that sustainably stimulate growth are needed to feed the future’s much older and crowded population-Agro-food education needs to be re-examined to respond to the challenges of rapid technological progress-There is a need to improve public awareness on modern agriculture and food production. People often struggle to understand and appreciate the complexity of UA and its role in society with regard to the environment-To date, most of UA initiatives by newcomers, with limited agricultural background have resulted in limited economic, environmental and social sustainability, which often cause failure. The general aim is to Contribute The EU and Its Citizens’ Lives Through Practical VET Solutions For Future “Urban-Farmers”. Specific objectives include:-Bringing together existing knowledge in UA -Supporting the educational processes of agricultural students and new-incomers in UA-Developing the teaching skills of agricultural VET actors in UA while developing VET skills of related stakeholders as regards to the innovative UA sector-Creating a sustainable VET environment &network for of local, regional, national and European stakeholders’ interaction, exchange of ideas, experiences and good practices. In accordance with these strategic objectives, the project will develop 3 intellectual outputs to answer those needs: 1 A training methodology and supporting tools (a methodological framework to train agricultural students and project managers including new incomers in the field of agriculture wishing to develop vertical indoor farms);2-An E-course platform based on the developed methodology(A European and multidisciplinary E-training tools-kit to support the training activities of the stakeholders but also usable in autonomy by the target groups: students, promoters of agricultural projects, urban citizens and organisations);3-A European Hub for all relevant stakeholders in the UA sector(A previously created European network of stakeholders will be animated and its actions fostered. It will further involve municipalities, NGO’s and citizens’ organisations, agricultural training centres, business angels, incubators, innovation centres and professional organisation).Within the framework of the project 24 future urban famers and 10 VET actors(Inno-Farm VET trainers/Facilitators) will be directly involved in the blended training activities. The project will precisely focus on potential urban farmers interested in experiencing new UA models and who also need an adapted training scheme, which could be developed within agricultural schools and other VET actors. The project aims to develop some key skills and competences in the target groups including entrepreneurship spirit, sense of innovation, practical urban farming skills, researching, problem solving and learning to learn. In this regards the target groups are:-Professional actors: teachers/trainers(on agro-food VET schools), agricultural consultants & academics-Agro-Food Students in formal education and professional farmers-New-incomers: new project leaders in UA, employees in redevelopment, unemployed youth etc-Supporting organisations for incomers(incubators, cooperatives or any supporting organisation involved in UA)-Local administrations as they need to understand better the development stakes of UA and the supporting tools proposed-Citizens organisation(local NGO’s, neighbourhood associations, consumer associations) as potential prescriptors and consumers of the production developed in UA).To create a sustainable impact area, the project has developed an effective dissemination strategy including several tools and channels: Local/Regional/National networks of partners; Multiplier Events in each country; Study Visits & 3rd party Activities; Local/National Media; European Dissemination Platforms and Social Media.
