This Project was established upon some very clear objectives having both: teaching and learning intents. The main issues we'll deal with are humanitarian issues, new learning strategies combining new methods and digital skills and the need to make our schools evolve into a new social and digital era. Having these ideas in mind the Portuguese partner (who is the main Coordinator) set a profile and searched for other partners that would fit the profile. The main focus was based upon historical contexts and geographical locations as well as humanitarian issues involving one's country. Then according to a SWOT analysis four partners were chosen and all of them can enhance and boost the outcomes of this Project in a specific way. Portugal and Finland will help students understand about people's flows, Italy and Poland about some major historical episodes and Greece about migrants actual situation. Having these scenarios set we'll be able to draw a comparison study among all schools taking into consideration History, Geography and social and political measures of different European countries. We will also work with students based upon a new learning strategy: Design Thinking. This way students will be motivated to develop critical thinking, creativity in problem solving as well as entrepreneurship concepts to reach for innovative digital outcomes such as the creation of digital apps and QR codes. Different subjects and different issues of each partners own curriculum will be worked within this project so the Erasmus Team at each school will focus on subjects such as English, ICT, History, Geography, Maths and Social Education. The chosen teams regarding teachers and students will be dynamic and motivated to work within the above themes. We will work with two different classes of students and create within each school an Erasmus Club. The involvement of younger and older students will enhance the social and humanitarian perspective that'll reach within each school at the end of the project. We've established the grounds for an efficient communication among partners having created online groups (such as an eTwinning group and a whatsapp group), a collaborative working disk that will be used throughout the Project and an effective dissemination plan based upon social media means and official means such as each school's website and the future project website. A short-term joint staff training event was set so all representative teachers from each Erasmus team from each school can learn together upon eTwinning and digital apps that will be used during the Project. Four LTT activities were set according to the major guidelines of the Project: starting with a discussion upon social and humanitarian issues, moving on to a direct contact with History, then a direct contact with reality and ending with a final presentation of the digital outcomes of this Project: two digital books, six newsletters, QR codes, AR scenarios and digital apps. Teachers involved within this project will guide students through the study of historical, geographical and social facts; students will be motivated to participate in Design Thinking process in order to develop ideas that will lead to the digital outcomes; apart from all this work, students will also commemorate some major celebration days and be involved in humanitarian short projects within the Erasmus Club. Collaborative work and online sessions will also be promoted so that a constant and meaningful communication can be established and developed by teachers and students. The digital outcomes will remain after the project officially ends because they're meant to spread knowledge and information not only to migrants/immigrants/disadvantageous groups of students but to each school's community and to other schools and institutions as well. The eTwinning project created within this Erasmus Project will also be maintained so that new ideas and social projects may be developed and shared among schools.

As teachers, we are seeing year after year how our students consume processed products, such as bottled juices, fizzy drinks or sweets containing a huge amount of sugar and chemicals, as a daily basis. Such products are mostly contained in plastics, one of the greatest danger of our planet. They not only foster overweight and an unhealthy diet but their containers also pollute the environment and the food chain that we depend on. This is also a problem for The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which defend, among others, Good Health and Well- Being (Goal 3), Responsible Consumption and Production (Goal 12) and Climate Action (Goal 13). Bearing all these problems in mind, these European schools from Poland, Portugal, Latvia, Finland and Spain have joined together to fight against obesity, plastics, processed food and the destruction of environment supporting a RealFooding diet. Taking advantage of the fact that two of the participating countries are from Southern Europe, we want to show our partners about Mediterranean diet as European intangible Cultural heritage, leading to a healthier diet of all our communities. The website www.mediterraneamos.es will be a very useful tool for this matter. Our objectives are connected to having European citizens with healthy diets, dropping little by little the use of contaminating recipients included in most processed food and who are conscious of the importance of preserving Nature as our goods are grown there. Last but not least, sports will be a key element in our project because if we do not practice sports we are exposed to suffer from health problems. Students participating in the project will be between 14 - 16 years old and this Erasmus + Ka229 will benefit around 720 youngsters, 63 with fewer opportunities and 44 teachers. Considering the Spanish school and do to the importance of inclusion, they will send a student diagnosed from autism to one of the mobilities. In general, activities will be focused on making our students aware of the benefits of RealFooding in their health, Mediterranean diet, so they will go from analyzing sugar contained in products, learning how to read food labels and preparing traditional dishes with their grandparents. Most activities will be done using new apps fostering our students digital competences and with inclusive and cooperative methodologies. They will also practice sports during each mobility as this practice is linked to a healthy life. During mobilities, students will work in international groups. The results we are willing to achieve is that our students will enhance competences like interpersonal, intercultural and social skills, and they will also treasure European citizenship, autonomy and personal initiative. The importance of learning to communicate as a way of establishing links with others is something they will achieve, they will also approach other European cultures, one of the most important matters of our project.Regarding teachers, we will put in common everyday difficulties and a shared reality, discussing in our meetings to improve our practice, sharing opinions and points of view, methodologies, curriculums and ICT tools in education. Furthermore, We will improve our ICT competences, essential for our teaching practice and our linguistic competences.Dissemination will be an essential matter in our project, showing all the activities that we are carrying out through myTwinspace, social networks and schools’ and City Councils websites. This way, we will be able to reach a great number of members of our communities who will learn about not only RealFooding and the dangers of processed food for our health, but also will feel motivated towards having a healthy lifestyle and taking care of the environment.Students and teachers will build close links, we will become better European citizens, improving our values and our European citizenship. In addition, hosting families will also benefit from their encounter as they will learn from the cultures, languages and traditions of the students who will be staying in their house. In relation to longer term benefits, students and teachers will have friends and colleagues around Europe not only to keep in touch but also to share professional issues and educational matters. Regular workshops will take place where students who have participated in the project will inform and train their school partners about RealFooding and all the issues developed in it.We will keep all the information, products and outcomes of our project in the tag “Materials” in myTwinspace for future activities related to: healthy menus, processed foods, inclusive methodologies, applications, evaluation tools and rules of Alternative sports. All in all, this project having in mind a healthier way of life, better habits and diet, will have a great impact in our educational community, in our personal lives and will open a door to future European projects in the participant schools.
