Modern world and ageing societies go hand in hand. However, this situation causes problems. One of such challenges is to keep up with psychological wellbeing of the elderly, which is decreasing because of lacking social life and ways to contribute to ever changing society. The project consortium believes that the topic of seniors’ inclusion is overlooked by NGOs, although those organisations have (or can get) a set of skills which is perfectly suitable to work not only with youngsters, but also with seniors. Or, ideally, with both groups together. Therefore, “Community: Seniors Involved – International” (CSII) aims to create a special programme in which youth workers would include seniors in their work with youth (or youth would join the activities in the seniors’ centres). This way the youth would get a chance to learn from-, foster empathy towards- and deepen the understanding of the older generations. Whereas, the elderly would get to spend their time more purposefully, as well as learn from the youngsters. To be more exact, CSII seeks to: (1) foster opportunities for intergenerational learning in the participating countries; (2) raise the qualifications and competences of youth workers who could work with intergenerational groups; (3) boost youngsters’ empathy, respect and social responsibility concerning older generations; (4) improve local youth work by involving seniors; and (5) re-integrate older generations by involving them to activities together with youth; thus, increasing their well-being.Having achieved these objectives, CSII would: 1) solve/reduce the problem of social exclusion of the elderly; and 2) narrow the communication gap between generations. Not just in the short-term, but in the longer perspective (with the help of the planned outputs – methodology, online platform, youth contest, mutual mentorship programme & a festival). One of the outcomes would also be increased capacity of and mobility of the participants in/between the partner countries.

"All world is affected by migration, and especially young people, who are one of the most mobile groups and the ones who determine how the future world will look like. For this it’s important that youth workers that are working with young people would be aware of the causes, opportunities and consequences of (i)migration and could support both – young emigrants and immigrants by creating opportunities, fighting discrimination and providing support these young people need. Youth unemployment forces young people to move out of their country, and in new country they often face social exclusion and discrimination as immigrants. They lack support in their country of origin from youth workers (who could advise them on different opportunities about mobility) and they lack support in their country of destination where youth organizations should be able to include them. We focus on 2 main issues – the immigration related issues in connection to refugee crisis and discrimination towards immigrants and second – emigration of young people in connection to youth unemployment. This is situation of emigration countries, but also attention should be drawn to immigration countries and inclusion of immigrants (especially refugees). Indonesia is one of the biggest countries of the world and the immigration is very big problem. Nearly 30,000 Rohingya and Bangladeshi migrants have made it to shore in Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia in last year. Working with migrants is new for organizations in Indonesia. Europe is facing migration for a long period and have mechanisms for support. In Indonesia the situation is very difficult. Even the UN high commissioners for refugees and human rights, the UN chief's special representative for international migration and development, and the head of the International Organization for Migration issued a joint plea. ""We strongly urge the leaders of Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand to protect migrants and refugees stranded on vessels in the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea, to facilitate safe disembarkation, and to give priority to saving lives, protecting rights, and respecting human dignity,"" On other site the Indonesia is a country with big number of people that are immigrating to other countries. Poverty in nations like Indonesia drives people to seek work in Malaysia, while unscrupulous agencies exacerbate the problem by exploiting the desperation of the poor with unrealistic assurances of good-paying jobs. With this project we will develop the capacities of youth workers of Indonesian organizations. We will create intellectual outputs and we will train youth workers so they are able to continue their mission in training other organization and developing the work with migrants. This work must be with a double focus. There are different triggers and causes, push and pull factors for migration which affects everyday life on incoming and outgoing immigrants which is important to be realized and dialed with."

Erasmus+ project Interception is about strengthening social inclusion through inclusive entrepreneurship. Social excluded youth is under-represented or disadvantaged in entrepreneurship. Increasing entrepreneurship among them, as well as improving the quality of their business start-ups, represents an opportunity to increase their social inclusion. Social excluded youth typically face greater barriers to business creation than the mainstream population. Challenges include a lack of entrepreneurship skills, difficulty in accessing finance for business start-up, difficulties navigating the regulatory framework, a fear of failure and a lack of confidence. The objective of inclusive entrepreneurship is to ensure that all young people have an opportunity to start up and operate in business or self-employment, regardless of their personal characteristics and background.Project Interception encourages inclusive entrepreneurship to give young people an opportunity to be successful in business creation and self-employment. Project wants to give to social excluded youth opportunity that they would believe that also their visions and ideas can be successful and also that those youngsters at least try to be entrepreneur if they have a drive, energy and idea that could be successful. Name of the project Interception is chosen because by the Cambridge dictionary the meaning is “the action of stopping and catching something or someone before that thing or person is able to reach a particular place”. With this project we want to stop youth to reach a point of social exclusion. At the same time the word “Interception” contains two words “Inception” and “ter”. The basis of this project was the project Inception. Meaning of the word “ter“ means “three”. Three symbolically stands for 3 EU countries and 3 non-EU countries in the project as well as connection 3 continents together – Europe, Asia and Australia.

Green Entrepreneurship as an Opportunity for Youth is 21 months project with Slovenia, Indonesia, Portugal, Ghana, Argentina and Nepal. It will take place from 1st of September 2016 until 1st of June 2018.The project deals with two problems, which we want to combine and solve it simultaneously. First problem is about unemployment. This problem is even more alarming within young population and is present almost all around the world. We are solving it with promotion of entrepreneurship among youth.Second problem deals with environment issues. The Earth is getting more and more polluted and is never to much of effort to protect our environment to have opportunities to grow and raise our families in healthy environment. This problem we are solving with applying green technologies and environmental friendly business ideas and social responsibility. If we combine both problems together we get “green jobs”. We are going to implement series of activities, where we will train young people how to be creative, especially in very fast growing economic field, GREEN ENTREPRISES, which uses environmental friendly techniques for successful business.During 21 months we had first preparatory meeting in Portugal followed by Training Course in Slovenia, Youth exchange in Indonesia, conferences in Nepal and Ghana and it ends with evaluation meeting again in Slovenia. On those larger event we trained youth workers to deal and to moderate local activities and workshops. Meanwhile every organization prepared several workshops in cooperation with school and local private companies. One of the important result is also Web portal, which supports our ideas and provide larger dissemination. We published a manual for NGO, developed some videos and produced one 30 minutes documentary movie. All the materials are published in all participating languages. Also we created a tool to attract more young people with application-game where players simulate and measure their environmental awareness connected with entrepreneurship. We crearted a board game to raise environmental awareness. On the project we made specific follow-up plan and future cooperation plan. The implementation of the plan requires financial resources, which will be obtained in the following way:- we will use several financing instruments. From DEAR, EIDHR - EUROPEAN INSTRUMENT FOR DEMOCRACY AND HUMAN RIGHT, ERASMUS PLUs, EUROPE FOR CITIZENS, CREATIVE EUROPE, ERDF - URBAN INNOVATIVE ACTIONS, EUROPEAN YOUTH FOUNDATION, INTRA-AFRICA ACADEMIC MOBILITY SCHEME and others. We have created a website where we post during the project over 120 articles, 15 interviews and all the results of the project.Ther project consisted from several international activities supported with local activities and on-line based activities and web projects. Each country organised one interenational activity. We had 2 mobility activities; Mobility for Youth Workers and Youth Exchange. Also we organised 2 conferences, one Kick-Off Meeting and Evaluation Meeting. All results of the project are developed to be sustainable. We made a plan, that each country will publish at least one article on our web page according the topic and that we will regularly update our game and web page. Web page and game are developed in a way that they do not require special knowledge and can be upgraded with basic computer skills. At the end of the project participants and partner organisations learned that cooperation across the planet contributes greatly to global learning, tolerance and mutual understanding. All partner organizations come from another continent with very different cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds. Because of these differences, each partner has a different approach to work and task execution. So we learned a lot and found that by continuing to work together, we can involve more people in this international learning.
