The capacity of youth organizations was developed through meeting, two training courses and capacity building activities implemented in participating countries. The first activity of the project - meeting - gave the partners an opportunity to review their roles and update the project plan. Two training courses based on using non-formal learning method and techniques connected youth workers, including youth workers with fewer opportunities, and gave them chance to develop their competencies to apply media and social media tools in their work aiming to increase personal and professional competencies of young people with fewer opportunities. Once mobility activities were finalized the partners implemented capacity building activities in their communities. Capacity building activities had the form of debates raising awareness on using media tools at the work with young people. Besides increased capacities of the participants to implement international mobility and local capacity building activities key impact of the project ‘Less Opportunities + Media Tools = Better Opportunities’ is strengthen competencies of the partners to transfer new gained knowledge through their networks e.g. by spreading one of the key results of the project - ‘Booklet of Good Practices on Using Media Tools at Youth Work’.The project connects 6 organizations:1. Youth Workers Alliance from Serbia2. Youth Council Next Generation from Republic of Macedonia.3. Just Do It from Poland4. MladiInfo from Montenegro5. Media Terra Nea from Greece6. Y4S from AlbaniaIt will be KA2 project - Capacity Building youth – Western Balkans with financial support of Erasmus+ Programme.This project increased the capacity of involved partners through achieving this main Results:1. Realized one international meeting, two international training courses and twelve local capacity building activities in form of debates;2. Strengthened capacities of 6 organizations and 56 youth workers to effectively use media tools at their work with young people with fewer opportunities; 3. Raised awareness on using media tools at work with young people with fewer opportunities of 180 participants of local capacity building activities;4. Raised knowledge of 6 organizations and participants of international and local activities on Erasmus + Programme and developed 3 project ideas for future international projects;5. Main goal of the project was to contribute to activating of young people (in age 16 - 30) coming from rural areas, from small cities, villages in participant’s countries. Moreover, through series of mobility, capacity building and dissemination activities the consortium aimed to develop capacities of participants of the activities to respond on the needs and interests of young people in rural areas and to develop their potential through quality activities; to support sharing approaches methods and tools between the countries; to increase participation of young people coming from small cities, villages and remote areas in local, regional, national projects leading to their personal and professional development; to increase involvement of young people coming from small cities, villages and remote areas in decision making process in their communities and countries especially through capacity building activities and to support developing new international projects focus on rural youth. During the project time the participants representing involved organizations had the opportunity to take part in kick off meeting, training course, seminar and study visit. Young people from participating communities had also chance to explore realities of other participating countries by taking part in youth exchange. In way to strengthen the impact of the project the partners also realized series of capacity building and dissemination activities at local level. Besides increased competences of directly involved participants of mobility and capacity building activities, developed capacities of involved organizations in the area of working with rural youth the project enable the organizations to share their practices and experiences, develop new project ideas and moreover to create new partnerships at local level. The project results includes set of recommendations aiming to provide rural youth new opportunities and to increase their living conditions and project booklet capturing the key lessons learned from the project activities.

The project objectives will be reached through series of international mobility activities such as Tool Trade Event, Study Visit or Youth Exchange. Moreover the key project outputs the online course and board game will be disseminated through international and local multiplier activities organize by the consortium of 6 partners in all participating countries: North Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Cyprus.

The project goal was planned to be meet by reaching following project aims: to develop participants competencies in the field of campaigning for human rights; to equip participants by competencies to effectively use social media tools to run successful campaigns making the difference; to design and realize two mobility activities with aim to raise competencies of youth workers and leaders in the field of human rights campaigning; to create and deliver human rights campaigns targeting young people in the participant’s communities; to support cooperation between Programme and Partner countries of the Western Balkan and to provide the participants an opportunity to increase their knowledge of Erasmus + Programme and work on new projects ideas aiming to develop competencies of other stakeholders in the area of human rights.The project objectives were reached through implementation of mobility and capacity building activities, sharing lessons learned with the actors interested in the advocacy in the field of human rights and raising awareness of local communities on human rights issues. In case of mobility activities the project included one training course and one seminar. Overall, 75 youth workers representing involved countries Kosovo, North Macedonia, Serbia, Estonia, Albania, Bulgaria and Turkey increased their competences in the field of advocacy for human rights. In case of capacity building activities we implemented local activities in forms of campaigns addressing actual issues in participating communities. The capacity of youth organizations was developed through kick off meeting, training courses, youth exchange and seminar implemented in participating countries. Our first activity of this project - kickoff meeting - gave the partners an opportunity to review their roles and update the project plan. Training course based on using non-formal learning method and techniques trained youth workers, staff and activists of partner organisations on how to ethically analyse, and report gender issues in media through promotion of gender equality as a fundamental human right. On Youth exchange the consortium raised the awareness of young people coming from partners countries about gender issues as screened in the media and encourage them to act as advocates of equality while using the various media channels. Fourth activity was a seminar with aim to foster active involvement of youth workers to address gender equality in media, and as a result we created handbook.Besides increased capacities of the participants and partner organizations to ethically analyses, report and advocate gender equality in media, key impact of the project ‘Gender Through the Screen’ is strengthen competencies of the partners to transfer new gained knowledge through their networks e.g. by spreading one of the key results of the project, Handbook - about ethical media conduct in youth work in relating to gender equality’.1. Realized one international meeting, one international training courses, one youth exchange and seminar based on non-formal education and learning by doing approach.;2. Strengthened capacities of 8 organizations and 50 youth workers to effectively use and ethically report gender issues in media.3. Trained 24 youth workers/staff/activists on how to ethically report gender issues in media through promotion of gender equality as a fundamental human right.4. Brought together 32 young people and 8 group leaders to discuss gender issues as portrayed in the media and encourage them to act as advocates of equality while using the various media channels. 5. Gathered together 24 youth workers, ngo activists in a seminar and addressed gender issues and gender equality to media, where they created a handbook about ethical media conduct in youth work in relating to gender equality. 6. Created online web page working as small online platform/resource centre with materials, interviews, videos, pictures reports and materials for gender equality: http://gtts.ka2project.net ;7.
