However, education aimed at skills, knowledge, and attitudes for students and teachers to engage in open dialogues are limited. This innovation project aims to teach students and teachers how to take different perspectives and engage in open dialogues by using creative educational activities (i.e., games, design process, dialogical art). Furthermore, institutional change for a culture of open dialogue will be stimulated by media and art.

Specifically, we test dissociable effects of individual differences in motivational style, as well as dopamine versus norepinephrine levels, on human electro-cortical substrates of value and probability representation. Furthermore, we link manipulations of these factors, as well as of value and probability, to cognitive control. Specifically, the interacting effects of these factors on electro-cortical substrates of selectively directing attention are evaluated. This should confirm the hypothesis that also apparently ?cold? cognition is driven by ?hot? motivation and reward sensitivity.

The first aim is to examine the applicability of explanatory models in different national contexts. The second aim is to investigate the gendered nature of the benefits and their dependence on national contexts. The project moves beyond prior work on current marital status by investigating the benefits for people in the full spectrum of marital history. State-of-the-art Bayesian methods will be used to obtain unbiased multilevel coefficients on data from 15 countries.

With this proposal we aim to cover the costs of a sixth wave of TRAILS at about age 25. The sixth wave is essential to adequately capture the course of early adulthood (21-25 years of age) during which several significant life course transitions need to be accomplished (e.g., entering labor market, starting families) that can intensify or buffer existing or newly arising risks for mental health problems.

However, such interpretations neglect the existence of activist-art connected to political regimes, as currently observable in Latin America. Through a comparative case-study of the artistic practices of an oppositional movement and a pro-Peronist government movement, situated in Greater Buenos Aires, this research seeks to understand and explain the role of art in socio-political movements with different aims and positions in civil society, and to offer innovative theoretical contributions to the debate on art, activism and the interface between social movements, political participation, and cultural expression.
