"The main objective of the ""Develop your creativity"" project is to improve social inclusion in adult education in the field of creativity by increasing educators' competences to reach adults, motivate them to start and continue their education and counseling support to introduce them to the path of lifelong learning .The project involves 4 organizations from different parts of Europe: from Poland - the Association ""Creative for Business"" and the Foundation for Education for Development and Innovation), from Bulgaria - Global Organization For Development /G.O.D./), from Ireland - Edu Smart Traning Center Limited. The project builds its activities based on stimulating creativity through broadly understood culture and art. Building creativity in non-formal education of adults is associated with a number of barriers, in order to prevent them, educators should be provided with appropriate tools and materials for work. One of the ways is culture, which can be presented in various forms and versions: theater, image, music and others. Cultural and creative skills give adults competences such as creativity, inventiveness, problem solving, cooperation. The project complies with the implementation of the horizontal priority - supporting creativity and cultural awareness. The project is inspired by European observations, documents and research on adult education. There is a clear need to increase social inclusion through education across Europe, as empowering adults to acquire skills and competences is a precondition for self-fulfillment, health, employability and social inclusion, helping to strengthen Europe's resilience in a time of rapid and profound change. The partners (Poles and Bulgaria) diagnosed that there is a lack of experience in the field of professional education of educators at the national level. If actions occur, they are of an occasional nature. Therefore they turned to an Irish partner who has experience in carrying out development activities for educators. Additionally, an adult learning strategy has been implemented in Ireland for over 20 years. The rich experience of the Irish partner, a wide set of good practices available in Ireland, combined with the knowledge of other partners will allow the project to be achieved. It would not be possible without international cooperation. This is even more important in the current context where COVID-19 has forced educators to adapt very quickly, especially in countries where they do not necessarily have the pedagogical and technical skills to incorporate digital tools into adult education. In order to help counteract and solve the problems presented, the following activities were planned in the project, which will translate into results and effects:• The partners' experts will develop workshop scenarios, exercise kits, instructional videos for educators in the field of creativity education through theater, music, digital technologies and image. In addition, the results will include the development of a methodology for teaching adults and a standard of educational materials for educators and an implementation guide for educators along with educational recommendations.• In the first phase, experts will select a catalog of topics in which creativity can support non-formal education and strengthen the competences of recipients.• When developing the materials, experts will consult the detail of thematic areas with groups of adults, including those associating older people, such as U3A, libraries, community centers, thematic clubs or other places associating elderly people - so as to adjust the program to the competency gaps as much as possible. At the same time, they will closely observe the effects of the pandemic in terms of non-formal education of adults and their current problems.• In order to widely disseminate the results of intellectual work resulting from the project, it was planned to organize an international conference in Poland, Bulgaria and Ireland, devoted to the topic of developing creativity among adults through innovative methods of educating and training educators.• There will be prepared 5-day workshops in Poland entitled ""Creativity as a way of developing and acquiring new competences in adults"" in the Blended mobilty formula, which will consolidate and test the tools developed within the project. In order to test the adequacy, usability and effectiveness of the prepared materials, Lider will conduct full training on their basis. A total of 60 adult educators will take part in the training. The group will be fairly homogeneous so that it is possible to test the complete training materials. The selection of training participants will be made only on the merits. The participants' motivation and willingness to get involved in the project will also be verified. The training group will be accompanied by experts who have prepared materials in order to collect all comments on an ongoing basis."

Community radios and free media are very rare in Balkan region and Cyprus and that is why we decided to focus on addressing this issue. Community radio, by its definition, should serve to community and be free of political influence – it is alternative source of the information. In chosen partner countries community media and media freedom are at low level. In Balkan region media freedom and involvement of youth in media work is lowest in Europe.By project activities, we will encourage youth to be active participants in communities and to be involved in creating another context of media, which are usually under political influence and give sensationalistic information. Media are not dedicated to youth and to their informal education. Those activities are chosen in order to achieve healthy media envirovement in this part of the Europe. After youth exchange, we expect to have 20 young people with strenghten capacities and knowledges they will transfer in their communities after. Also, they will be included in educational event in their communities and create radio shows and articles. This project is innovative since it is connecting few areas: Connecting region, community media cooperation, educational event and common radio programme. Through all those aspects we will incluence on position of community media in region. We expect to:- Empower youth through educative support, exchange and participation in community media as an alternative source of information in community - Empowerment of community media in region as an tool for alternative source of information and active participation of youth - Promotion of community media and networking among the region as a good advocacy platform for future development of this kind of media in Europe

Empowering people, driving change – social innovation in the European Union, European Commission, 2011 CHALLENGEThe multiple innovation perspectives of PLAN project were linked to a number of emerging social needs and innovation debates in Europe, well described and well documented in the Commission’s 2011 paper: Empowering people, driving change – social innovation in EU. Project’s innovation contributed in transforming such emerging needs into emerging opportunities of change: ACTIVITIES undertaken for EMERGING SOCIAL NEEDS: - we re-engaged Mentors of all ages and backgrounds for economic and social value - we mobilized available and qualified resources in the communities who offered NEET powerful ways out of the social depression - we trained the youth workers of partner NGOs, on how to work with NEET and how to support them in new entreprenurial initiatives and we developped activities for digital skills in an informal and non formal education - we found new solutions to existing and emerging social challenges not addressed by the open market and not sufficiently addressed by public services - we engaged users and citizens in creating such solutions for NEET - we created social change dynamics to respond flexibly to the fast changing economies and labour markets and we offered our NEET enganged in the project, new life competences. TARGET GROUPS supported EMERGING CHANGE OPPORTUNITIES: - youth workers worked for social innovation and provided NEET with new skills - mentors acted as role models for NEET, encouraged them to establish their future work life - youth workers, mentors and youth promoted the social innovation that cannot happen to but with people, with top-down as well as bottom-up initiative-taking for successful work life including a wide range of challenges, from child services to green economy PLAN's innovation has put social innovation to work. PROJECT MISSIONThe project has put the 21st century social innovation agenda to work: new citizen-driven alliances were created in the communities, through mobilizing available resources for important needs of NEET and without putting additional pressure on public services. Resourceful and experienced older generation/retired acted as Mentor for: NEET youth who NEED THEM PLAN project combined two of the most important social and educational challenges in 21st century Europe – re-activated the overwhelming social and educational potential of the increasing number of experienced older generation in society and helped counter the dramatic increase in depressed social situations among NEET – generated social and educational value from the dynamic interaction between these two “out of economy” population groups.
