The project SAYN-SPORT FOR ACTIVATION OF YOUNG NEET aims to develop an educational methodology to help youth workers empower young NEETs. The phenomenon of youth unemployment is very widespread in Europe and in the partner countries and can have very dangerous consequences for young people, such as psychological disorders, social exclusion and proximity to juvenile delinquency. During the project, we will develop a training manual for youth workers using sport and non-formal education to enhance young people's soft skills useful for moving into the world of work. We have foreseen the realization of 3 international training activities during which the develop educational contents will be tested with the target groups: a training course for youth workers, youth exchange and job shadowing. In addition, each partner will adapt the activities to their own language and cultural context, and will organize a local workshop with the young people of the city in which they operate. Two tangible products will be created during the project: an educational manual, and a documentary video of the activities aimed at young people. The project has a duration of 36 months and involves the collaboration of 3 partners from the EU (Italy, Croatia, Germany) and 3 from Region 3 (Lebanon, Tunisia, Jordan).

E-learning is an efficient mean for ensuring the volunteers to develop their competences all along their ESC project. It is also a good way to commit them into a continuous and easy-to-achieve learning process in order to enhance their skills, optimize their role within the host community, and find their career way. Moreover, the e-learning, can be an efficient tool to support mentors, trainers and supervisors of the volunteers. For these reasons, in 2017, we created an online platform (https://euromed.e-evs.eu/) which includes online trainings to support European volunteers. In this context, we wish to improve this platform and continue to meet the needs of the future volunteers and the priorities of Solidarity corps program. We will cooperate with our partners engaged in the ESC programme, coming from 5 EuroMed countries: Tunisia, Turkey, Jordan, Greece and Italy. Together we will launch a project based on our experience and made up of diverse & complementary activities for 23 months, centered on the topic of on-line educational support for the ESC volunteers. The main objective of our project is to enhance the adoption of innovative practices from youth workers related to Euro Med volunteers, by developing personalized, collaborative and accessible learning approaches for all young beneficiaries of European Solidarity Corps projects. Our project consists of the following activities:1- A 2-days transnational project meeting in Turkey to determine the methods of the implementation of the project and the role to be assigned by each one.2- 2 research surveys which aim to detect the needs and feedback from the beneficiaries of our platform and from the new future beneficiaries: Euro Med ESC volunteers in terms of online trainings.3- A 10-days Training course in Greece, which will involve 30 participants to improve the existing online trainings accessible on our platform & create new ones to be updated to the ESC program and to the needs of the current volunteers.4- Creating educational videos for the E-courses that request additional visual support.5- Testing the E-courses with the target group: ESC volunteers, gathering and analyzing their feedback.6- Updating & publishing the user's guide of the platform for the beneficiaries.7- A 9 days Training course in Tunisia to develop the profile and skills of the participants in the motilities to become E-mentors of the platform. 8- A 9 months experimentation of our Platform, by the volunteers with the support of e-mentors. 9- Creating a user's guide for the E-mentors of the platform.10- A 7 days Training course in Greece to improve the evaluation instruments of the platform & to create instruments for the validation of the skills acquired by the beneficiaries.11- Creating a promo video of the platform and caring an event for 2 days to promote the platform and to disseminate the project's results among young people, NGOs and e decision makers. 12- A 2 days evaluation meeting in Jordan

Throughout the project, several intellectual outputs are to be produced, highlighting, an anti-radicalization toolkit, a field research report on the four communities, OER’s related to the project content and training sessions, photography and videos made during the youth exchanges, and several short films co-produced by the youngsters. All the learning outcomes is available through our website under a creative commons license for free use.The main goals achieved can be divided into three points: 1. Raising awareness about radicalization and hate speech in media. 2. Developing tailored methods for youth workers to address the prevention of radicalization and provide them with tools and resources adapted to each specific context.3. Foster critical thinking amongst youngsters provided them with skills and creative tools as a way to develop counter-narratives.With MCTAR we aimed to provide tools for change, a different approach to youth work, focused on the prevention and identification of youth radicalization processes by promoting the intercultural dialogue and the creation of alternative messages through media tools.
