The European Pillar of Social Rights presented by the European Commission in April 2017 addresses income inequality more explicitly. The third principle of the Pillar sets out the right to equal opportunities for all. Of the 14 headline indicators in the accompanying Social Scoreboard, one relates directly to income inequality, while several others address policy areas closely related to combatting rising income inequality and providing more equal chances. This Project seeks to address this, in particular by sharing the Good Practices already developed by the partner countries in relationship to Empowerment , Employability and Entrepreneurship training programmes. Bringing together 5 organisations expert in working with the most marginilised and excluded members of society from 4 partner countries : Scotland, Italy , Sweden and The Netherlands.Within this Project we seek to promote Social Inclusion for some of the most excluded members of society by supporting them on their journey of re-integration into vocational training , employment and self-employment by each of the partners sharing our current successful programmes, comparing what works well and areas for development in order to enhance the quality of provision for this specialist group and other disadvantaged groups within society . This will, in turn result in the development of relevant and high-quality skills and competences as the quality of the training programmes will be enhanced and further developed as a result of this Project in all four partner countries .The duration of the project is 22 months and project activities have been broken down into a four stage plan:*1st stage: Preparation and creation of templates, review existing materials, gather examples of Good practice*2nd stage: Improvement phase*3rd stage: Production of enhanced materials *4th stage : Review and amend on-going plans for dissemination and exploitation of the results of the Project and prepare for future collaborations-Methodological routeThe route of the methodology is research, consult and improve. Amongst the project stakeholders, we will conduct primary research with surveys, questionnaires and focus groups. This feedback will lead to improvements in the materials and the production of the final version, as a preparatory step for making the materials available on each partners' website as open educational resources. EEAR's desired impact is based around the usage of empowering training to combat marginalisation and develop people to become employable and able to develop into self-employment . Our goal is to provide better services that engage and empower the learner to develop skills, continue to learn and look at developing enterprises as they move into the labour market.Staff that participate within the project, partnership and our localized activities will gain in confidence and self-esteem resulting from the development of new knowledge and skills. The partnership will impact upon the partners by increasing their ability to engage and respond to the skills needs of their learners and staff, provide an EU focus to addressing common problems and provide solutions to sustainable employment.Across Europe the impact is:1) Aligned to relationship between training provision and training need for beneficiaries of schemes - innovative methods used to support learners in various settings.2) Improved trainer skills for the staff members of the partners, that will aid their development to higher teaching qualifications and the usage of ECVET for non-formal training paths.3) Creation of a network of training providers that delivers a common empowering, employability and entrepreneurship curriculum.•Share/embed lessons through our network - connecting with Learning Networks at levels (EU, National, Regional and Local)•Provide case studies and training materials •Allow for the exchange of training ideas, materials and other resources As part of the project we will encourage partners to:*prepare and deliver a pilot of EU learning across their organisational activities*testing out and documenting how learning has helped adapt local their provision - detailing its value and benefit*Knowledge gathered will be captured and shared through our projects dissemination activities*exchanging and sharing ideas and learning by working with regional partners *an active dissemination campaign that gets our message out to projects In the longer term We intend to continue as a team or act as a virtual European network for the organisations to learn and be guided by our work. This will also ensure we develop new content so our work can remain relevant to the EU 2020 Strategy and its successor

N.Park, the head of the ONS population estimates unit, said the increase in net immigration continued to offset the net effect of a fall in the number of births and rise in the number of deaths. Understanding and accepting cultures and customs of other civilizations is an attitude that each of us must adopt if we want our countries, and Europe as a whole, to be places of economic and social well-being. Intercultural dialogue can become an instrument to identify and anticipate any negative effects of the growing gaps between EU-born and foreign-born people. The concerns with such gaps are that they limit migrants’ & refugees’ abilities to participate in social & cultural life. This can lead to disengagement, resentment and feelings of not belonging in the society. Intercultural dialogue can counteract these feelings by enabling migrants & refugees to make their voices heard in the public sphere and have a meaningful impact on their everyday lives. In Nov.2015, the council of Ministries of Education, Youth, Culture & Sport, stated that the intercultural dialogue through culture and arts developes an important role for the integration of refugees/migrants & improve the mutual knowledge. With this project we will ‘explore the ways arts can help to increase migrants’ participation in cultural & societal life as well as to promote intercultural dialogue & cultural diversity’. ''Creative Arts promoting Equality, Diversity & Social Inclusion '' is a participatory art Project that focuses on digital media , storytelling , creative thinking & drama , is then to involve migrants & refugees in the very design, organisation and implementation process . This project will be coordinated by UK in the partnership of Turkey , Italy , Romania & Greece; also, share a similar past of crossroad, have had experience in migration (in-out coming): it will give 30 youth an opprotunity to be directly involved through training activities in Greece & Italy & 50 indirectly through local activities. During Project life cycle we aim to reach more than a thousand young people with migrant background or refugees. We will through the partnership share and confront an intercultural dialogue and to strengthen the knowledge and acceptance of diversity within society, building resilient processes of empowerment and participation, we will transform challenges into strengths and opportunities bygiving a voice to the outcasts of our society & at the same time reaching out in our communities, fighting fear, prejudices and radicalization. Thanks to the universal language of arts, indeed, we will achieve our main goal that is to promote the inclusion and empowerment of young migrants, refugees & asylum seekers in Europe. The tangible outcomes will be ; a WEBSITE:where the objectives of the project , the outcomes , project activities , videos/photos of the meetings , LTT will be uploaded - Training material from the knowledge of the partnershio: In order to guarantee a good knowledge of the instruments, tools and strategies, the experts of each partner of the project will complete the training contents of the face-to-face training through the provision of more content. In this way, they ensure that the contents that are transmitted are adequate & that the learning is performed correctly and completely, especially with regard to the competences related art & creative workshop management for inclusion. -A '' TRAIN THE TRAINER '' booklet which consists of modules on behavioural issues and A VLOG on which the young people will be able to share their artistic products to improve also digital creativity.By the end of the Project youth will have gained the following competences: - Communication in foreign languages - Digital competence- Learning to learn- Social & civic competences - Sense of initiative & entrepreneurship - Cultural awareness & expression - part of EU Ref.Framework Key Competences.Young migrants and refugees will be empowered through arts and will this provide them with the opportunity to advocate for their rights and their role/position in society, whiles our staff in each partner will share and confront ideas, methods and practises to improve the training offer. Our aim is to enrich the understanding of the common EU values as well as appreciating the origins & acceptability of the diversity within the EU societies.

A lot of people trainers and end users especially with disadvantages are not able to understand and apply the technology and prepare themselves psychologically and physically for the new way of working. The recognision of the issues to combatting COVID-19 will grow and the inclusion of disadvantaged members of society will be even more crucial. It is unclear how the world will be effected by COVID-19 in the long term but a new recognition of the importance of social distancing and the environmental benefits of reducing travel are creating an upward trend to the popularity of working from home, or Smart Working. Therefor supporting the uptake of innovative approaches and digital technologies for teaching and learning becomes fundamental to society itself. The project introducing systematic approach to, and opportunities for, the initial and continuous professional development of VET teachers which work with disadvantaged (Disabled, NEETs, rural communities, economical & health issues). We will exchange good practise with a work-based setting to develop a guidelines (e-book) & pathway for digital and practical tools in SmartWorking. This will raise the attractiveness of the professions for VET teachers , trainers, mentors and leaders, especially in VET organisations working with disadvantage students. The project aims to deliver outputs appropriate for VET trainers, mentors and leaders which work with disadvantaged and disabled members of society. To combat the threat of COVID-19 and social distancing and the consequential growing trend of working from home, that is Smart Working. The group of disadvantaged students are a difficult to reach one at the best of times, and suffor of social isolation, now with the COVID-19 issues there are even more at risk of isolation. It is crucial that we have trained VET teachers, trainers and mentor which have the correct skill to firstly be able to do SmartWorking themselves, but secondly be able to provide the disadvantage students with the right skills to tackle the challenges. It needs a systematic approach . The partnership will share good practise and create a guideline book for SmartWorking considering the physiological aspects and difficulties of working with disadvantaged students. Research carried out by the European Commission “Shaping Europe’s digital future” explained how Shaping ""A European approach to digital transformation means empowering and including every citizen, strengthening the potential of every business and meeting global challenges with our European core values."" The Digital Innovation Hubs are putting digital technology to work on real-world problems. On 25 March 2020 the Hub exchanged ideas on how to swiftly help with the consequences of the COVICOVID-19 crisis through collaboration tools, video conferencing, delivery and payment solutions, and uptake of technology that makes a real difference to people’s daily lives. A strong and competitive economy that masters and shapes technology in a way that respects European values and includes disadvantaged and disabled members of society are an important group of society who are excluded from these solutions to combat COVID-19. This needs a development of partnerships which are able to promote the digital tools in work environment. We will train the partnership VET trainer in work-based learning through our blended Transnational Meetings and on-line on digital tools useful for SmartWorking, including e-conferencing, webinars, interviews, video curriculum, etc. The 60 VET trainers participants in the Blended transnational meetings will then train locally 5 Vet trainers (25 total) working with disadvantaged students. The project is 24 months and involved 5 organisation from Italy, the UK, Romania and Austria."

The EU acknowledges this & promotes Strategic Entrepreneurship. In many countries, young migrants are more likely to be entrepreneurial than natives and migrants are also more likely to be self-employed than natives (UN Report Migrant Entrepreneurship:Hania Zlotnik et al.). Entrepreneurship among young migrants must be seen as a new arena for social, economic and political action. Many governments are therefore trying to actively promote entrepreneurship through various forms of support. But the role of Youth Work in fostering entrepreneurial learning has been underexposed up until today (Taking the future into their own hands Youth work and entrepreneurial learning : final report – Étude EU 2017). With the migrants issue high on the calendar of the EU there has never been a more important time for an attractive Entrepreneurship Capacity Building Support for young migrants (born in non-EU countries). The Young Migrant Entrepreneurs (YME) project will focus on delivering entrepreneurial learning support through Youth Workers and Immigration Case Workers: *Reinforce links between youth work policy and migrant policy, research and practice; *Promote better knowledge about the situation of young migrants and youth work and migrant policies; *Recognition and validation of youth work and informal non-formal entrepreneurial learning at European, national, regional and local levels *Mentoring/Youth Worker schemes for young migrants and young migrant would-be entrepreneurs. * Approaches to the assessment of entrepreneurial competences * Develops the competences of youth workers and youth trainers Within the EU, young migrants represent an important pool of potential entrepreneurs, but can face, as other more vulnerable groups, specific legal, cultural and linguistic obstacles. These issues need to be addressed in full to give the right youth work entrepreneurial support equitable to that received by all other entrepreneurial groups. This is the main goal of the Young Migrant Entrepreneurs (YME) project. The 2 year-old deal between the EU and Turkey helped control an unprecedented migration crisis! In 2015 and 2016 alone, more than 2.5 million people applied for asylum in the EU. Authorities in the member states issued 593,000 first instance asylum decisions in 2015 - over half of them positive. 1.1 million asylum decisions were made. 61% of those were positive with one third of applicants granted refugee status, the highest level of international protection. Frontex, the EU border surveillance agency, collects data on illegal crossings of the EU's external borders registered by national authorities. In 2015 and 2016, more than 2.3 million illegal crossings were detected. It’s clear there has never been a more important time for youth work to identify, encourage & support young migrants in entrepreneurship capacity building. There are some factors that underpin migrant entrepreneurship: - Higher tolerance to risk among migrants than among natives - Cohesiveness of extended families - For migrants from least developed countries, larger families provide more sources of labour for a SME - Community ties can lead to migrant dominance in certain activities The partnership programme is about identifying and supporting Young Migrant Entrepreneurs, thesocalled ‘Migrant FuturePreneurs’ and will develop a transnational ID & Support programme targeted at young migrants (14-18) & their educators, youth workers and immigration case workers YME will produce; * Country Conclusion reports on Youth Work Support in relationship to entrepreneurship capacity building with young migrants, combined with expert views * Theoretical Frame Work & Study analysis: The aim is to provide an overview of relevant theoretical perspectives on youth work and migrant entrepreneurship capacity building *An app & e-assessment tool both for identifying entrepreneurial skills explaining the Project’s main objectives, key steps to build them and success stories will be developed and presented to each partner country. *Creation of a Youth Worker's Guide *Creation of a Young Migrant Entrepreneurial Learning Support Package: *An official dedicated ‘Young Migrant Entrepreneurs’ website & OED platform will be built & updated *A Green Paper will be published on line & in hard copy, to be available for capitalisation & dissemination at EU-level Target groups: Youth Workers, Immigration Case Workers, Young Migrants (aged 14-18). This project addresses the needs of Youth Workers supporting young migrant Entrepreneurship Capacity Building. The YME-partnership consists 5 countries (Turkey, Netherlands, Italy, Romania and UK), who have had statistically the most volumes of immigrants entering their country, keeping in mind that Turkey is the immigrants first safe haven.
