"<< Background >>Considering the increase of identity-based discourses and dynamics in Europe, it is necessary to promote an inclusive Europe in which the cultural Rights of migrants are respected and the European cultural heritage is enhanced. Culture and arts are in fact powerful channels for sharing and transmitting values (cf. the European Commission's communication ""New pact on migration and asylum""/Brussels, 23 Sept 2020). The MigrArts project participates directly in building a sense of ‘living together’. On one hand, the MigrArts project is intended to support the recognition and effective consideration of migrants’ cultural Rights. On the other hand, the project aims to promote self-fulfillment through the development of creative skills and a sense of belonging. The project aims at supporting structures working in the cultural field or in charge of the integration of migrants to work together in an innovative, inter-sectoral and intercultural approach. In fact, the cultural dimension is not or has not been correctly taken into account in migrants’ integration policies. Moreover, migrants constitute most of the time a new target group for structures working in the fields of culture and culture mediation. The project therefore aims to give concrete tools to these associative and institutional actors to enrich their knowledge, skills and competences so that they can build inclusive and emancipating cultural and artistic activities, with and for migrants. The MigrArts project also values the commitment and participation of migrants through a co-construction approach. The latter are encouraged to take an active part in the elaboration of the project. MigrArts thus promotes proactive citizenship around common values. The MigrArts project is even more necessary as the social and economic crisis linked to Covid-19 has reinforced unequal access to culture of the most disadvantaged social categories and therefore of a large part of migrants.<< Objectives >>The MigrArts project aims at promoting a better integration of migrants through arts and culture, at local, national and European levels. It therefore plans to build an inclusive and emancipating approach for migrants through cultural and artistic activities and more specifically to :>Include cultural Rights in projects targeting migrants;>Co-build cultural and artistic activities with migrants and encourage their social inclusion as well as the emergence of a European consciousness/awareness;>Develop and enhance migrants’ psychosocial skills to improve their social, professional and civic integration;>Encourage political decision-makers to integrate art and culture in an action plan for migrants.<< Implementation >>The partners of the MigrArts project will share their research, resources and experiences and create different tools to build an inclusive and emancipating approach for migrants through cultural and artistic activities. They will participate in transnational learning activities to deepen the project’s key themes (cultural Rights, valuing learning outcomes in a non-formal setting). They will associate volunteer participants from associations and institutions in the sectors of cultural sector and mediation and integration for migrants as well as migrants themselves (of all statuses) in order to experiment and analyze a common methodological framework for innovative practices. They will also produce tools resulting from this experimental approach, intended to wide dissemination, as well as to encourage and facilitate other similar initiatives. Those tools are:-Practical guide for an inclusive and emancipatory approach to migrants through cultural and artistic activities-Pedagogical frameworks to enhance training of adults in thematic areas of the MigrArts project.<< Results >>The direct outcomes of the MigrArts project are:>The definition of a methodological framework>The establishment of an inclusive and emancipating approach of migrants through cultural and artistic activities through which the cultural Rights of migrants are taken into account>The training of structures working in the cultural, cultural mediation and the integration of migrants in taking into account the cultural rights of migrants in their activities thanks to facilitating tools.>The following facilitating tools :-Practical guide for an inclusive and emancipatory approach to migrants through cultural and artistic activities-Pedagogical frameworks to enhance adults training in the thematic areas of the MigrArts project. The other expected effects of the project are:>The exchange of good practices within a European consortium>The promotion of the European cultural heritage and of a European identity through arts and cultural practices.> Raising public and political awareness at several levels (local, national and European) concerning the integration of migrants and specifically through arts and culture."

"In order to fight the digital divide the European Commission has proposed a digital agenda whose main objective is the development of a digital single market to lead Europe towards sustainable and inclusive growth. The Digital Agenda for Europe is comprised of 7 pillars that allow meeting the set targets for 2020 and one of them refers to Enhancing digital literacy, skills and inclusion (6th pillar). In this context, increasing attention has been paid to e-inclusion policies at European level, including improving the EU e-skills as the main prerequisite for development, active citizenship, social inclusion and employability. However, improving the level of e-skills to reduce digital divide at European level requires a transnational effort. The countries involved in this partnership have different levels of digital economy development and population lack of e-skills. In the same time all the countries are facing same challenges in terms of addressing the needs of vulnerable groups such as: people with disabilities, minorities, migrants, economically disadvantaged people in urban and rural areas. The proposed project partnership intends to offer lifelong learning benefits to vulnerable groups by using innovative training techniques to improve their level of digital inclusion. The project will focus on developing, sharing and transferring innovative digital education practices , enabling organizations to work together in order to developing a digital literacy course to help vulnerable groups to gain basic digital competences. The project methodological approach will bring a new perspective of addressing directly the needs of the adult learners belonging to vulnerable groups by developing a tailored curricula and innovative training course to help them improve their basic digital skills that can ultimately facilitate their social inclusion and raise their employability. In the same time the projects planned interventions will contribute to the development of adult educators’ competences to deal with diversified groups of socially disadvantaged members of the communities, making use of new technologies and teaching outcomes. Last, but not least, the project activities are designed to strengthen cooperation and networking between partner organizations. The project's main objectives are:1. develop and implement innovative inclusive adult education methodologies to enhance basic digital skills of vulnerable groups, including new curricula, courses and accompanying learning materials and tools tailored to adult learners belonging to vulnerable groups2. extend and improve the educators competences to effectively deliver digital literacy courses for vulnerable groups including obtaining British NQF accredited qualification in facilitating learning and development for groups3. develop and implement innovative tools to evaluate learning curve of adult learners belonging to vulnerable groups including the use of digital storytelling techniques4. develop multi-lingual web portal for e-skills educators5. Increased institutional capacity of 4 educational type organizations to provide digital literacy courses to vulnerable groups6. Increase institutional capacity of 2 cultural organization (Librarians) to extend services & provide e-skills training to under served members of their communitiesThe main added value of the project is to increase the institutional capacity of the all partner organizations by developing competences and skills of its staff and its network of trainers to form a community of ""e-tutors for e-inclusion"", which share competences acquired under a single training plan. This critical mass include over 1000 staff and learners in all partner countries representing the main resource to continue to professionalize learners in all partner organizations. The overall impact of the partnership program is to enhance the institutional capacity of each partner to assimilate and use innovative methods of adult learning by working with Adult Education organizations in different European countries. The project is an open door for future cooperation between all organizations involved. After the implementation of the program designed for our staff and learners, the skills and experience gained will help our organizations to increase capacity to improve basic digital literacy training services and develop training and qualification of national community e-tutors. Also this program will support the development of training modules based on coherent models which quality has been certified in other EU countries."

"Recent surveys show that the use of digital technologies by the world's population is increasing exponentially, especially among the ""digital natives"" generation. The Covid-19 crisis has also led to a further increase in the use of digital technology, particularly in schools. Furthermore, the online circulation of fake news and conspiracy theories underlines the link between digital technology and issues of citizenship, protection of democracy, public health and social justice... Thus, media and information literacy emphasises values (European, human rights...) and thoughtful uses. The consortium of the European project ""e-Media: Media literacy and Digital citizenship for All"" believes that it is important to educate young citizens in the use of technology, internet and social media so that they can use them responsibly. The objectives of this project were to1) To introduce young people to the processes of information making, so that they can be creative and responsible actors. 2) To educate in computer science and raise awareness of the algorithmic logic behind all the tools we use, in order to take power over the machines.3) Reveal the motivations of conspiracy and fake news to enable the emergence of a generation of critical citizens. 4) To promote the integration of digital skills in school curricula and to foster critical thinking, especially through the teaching of technology and science, in line with the priorities of school education. In order to achieve these objectives, our project aimed at a target audience consisting of teachers in secondary schools, all disciplines, as well as the educational community as a whole (educators and parents). We produced three educational booklets:- The first one is about robotics. It aims to help students better understand how the world works, as almost everything in our society is programmed, from our coffee machine to our lift. We think that robotics is a fun way to talk about computer language, data processing and algorithms. - The second is dedicated to media literacy. It aims to help teachers work with students on how to better use the internet, social media, and understand how to fight fake news and conspiracy theories. - The third one is dedicated to online expression, and more specifically to web radio, blogs and web TV. We offer activities to teach young people to produce their own information. We have also produced two moocs. These include a set of videos and activities aimed at fostering the appropriation of the themes covered in the first two booklets: robotics and media literacy. All these resources are available in English, French, Latvian, Italian and Spanish. Tutors have also taken part in training courses in France, Spain and Italy, and will be able to accompany teachers who participate in the moocs. The resources made available will allow teachers, and the educational community as a whole, to develop the necessary skills and competences to approach media literacy with their students and thus teach them to use digital media in a critical and responsible way."

IMAGES is an action research to promote a concrete tool able to define the constellation of competences acquired in non-formal learning contexts of one of the key figures in the non-profit sector: the European Repertoire/ Profile of a Local Manager of a non-for profit organization (NFP’s). Not all EU countries followed the recommendations and developed the specific professional profiles and qualifications for this sector. To profile these figures through our project it is considered innovative as it responds to a common European need: the lack of this profile in regional and national Repertoires. It is attested that the third sector is one of the economy areas that increase year by year at European level both in terms of GDP produced and by number of employees. In this context, although volunteers are the backbone of this system, it is the local manager who play the fundamental role in terms of governance. Their work is divided between coordination of activities, management, administration but also impacts in the bottom up democratic processes, promoting participatory and economic democracy. The project aims to gather European good practices and starts from them to encourage their transferability in other Countries and contribute to the construction of a European repertoire. In general, IMAGES aims to encourage the definition, the identification and assessment of skills acquired through informal and non-formal learning and field experience, also thanks to the use of multimedia tools (such as Open Badges). The project also aims to propose a training opportunity based on a massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) for Counselors, professionals who act as key figures for the identification and documentation to the recognition of skills. The publication and adoption of the IMAGES Repertoire by public bodies holding the system of validating competences at regional and national level, as well as by accredited private bodies, will lead to the achievement of the overall project objective. Furthermore supports a European framework and at the same time creates a dialogue at national level that brings together the main stakeholders and policy makers on the same table, in order to coordinate the implementation of policies in the area of certification and to use part or all the results of our project. The project's activities are designed to be linked to a consequential process that leads to the expected results. It is a question of starting from the state-of-the-art validation process in this area through a comparative analysis to outline the European context (IO1). For this purpose, a common paradigm of theoretical definitions and references relating to general, specific and transversal skills acquired in non-formal learning contexts such as the non-profit sector will be identified. The research will continue with the identification of a sample of 72 managers as participants in focus groups and in-depth interviews, to identify analysis elements needed for the next phases of the project. In order to start the trial phase and produce 72 validation documents (IO3) it is necessary to identify counselors with a specific expertise related to the Third Sector able to properly accompany participants in the identification of their skills. For this reason, the partnership will publish a MOOC (IO2) to provide specific training. Thanks to the presence of Roma Tre University it will be possible to reach the third phase of the European Guidelines for the validation of non-formal and informal learning Cedefop (2016) which provides the assessment and issuing the assessment document. The main expected result is to arrive at the definition of tools based on a scientific methodological approach to identify the skills that delineate an NFP’s manager operating locally. The project also aims to achieve the following: have promoted an innovative bottom-up methodological process through which it will be possible to give a voice to civil society in the EU's debates on the validation and acquire competences and be complementary to the activities carried out by CEDEFOP, the Council and the European Commission; provide support to develop system reforms, such as the definition of lifelong learning strategies and national qualification frameworks. At EU level, we have partly encouraged the pursuit of the EU's objective of strengthening a key professional profile in the third sector and integrating EU instruments (e.g. EQF/EUROPASS) in a sector that is not yet fully developed
