"<< Background >>TON implemented in the period 2018-2021 (February) the REGAL international project that was materialized locally in Moldovita commune (Suceava) by conducting 12 Focus Groups with women to raise awareness of the term WLB (Work Life Balance).TON realized in the project time how insufficient this term is known in rural Romania, how new the approach was for the participants and how stimulated the work was within the Focus Groups. During the National Conference held on March 22, 2021 (https://www.facebook.com/events/4475852259108449/) attended by many representatives and coordinators of women's groups members of TON Foundation, was realized that the impact in Moldovita it was especially great among the direct beneficiaries and that the groups of women who are part of our Foundation are eager for this kind of activities. At the same time, from the discussions TON had during the National Conference, not only the idea of developing this project on a larger scale emerged, but it was realized that the work within the project developed at Moldovita can be transformed into a new and efficient method of work in any women's organization. And so was sprouted the idea of this project and the development of an ABLE Curriculum through participatory methods; Drama; European Policies and women’s rights, Storytelling asa ""transferable Method"" at European level. << Background >>The project TRUST(Therapy through Reading and Use of Story Telling) involves 5 organizations from Romania, Belgium, Portugal and Bulgaria. TRUST project aims to reduce the social exclusion of people, mainly women, coming from marginalised contexts(rural areas, migrants) and to regain the trust of people in common activities an cooperation after the severe period of izolation due to the pandemia. The partner organisations have experience in social inclusion and women activities. Through the activities of the project we try to create an integrated system where volunteers and experts can work together for providing social services and reintegration. The statistics reflecting a low interest in reading among adults brought the idea of the curent project as a way to promote volunteering, personal development and civic integration.<< Objectives >>The objectives consist in realising an empowerment co-creating educational model regarding reading and story telling for a minimum 60 learners from different social groups, in 22 months of the curent project, intervention on the social growing to fight deprivation of around 140 beneficiars by the use of reading and Story Telling during 20 months of the project, enable the 5 partner organizations to implement monthly activities of social inclusion and growing self-esteem for minimum 200 direct and indirect beneficiers during 22 months of the project. The project adresses to minimum 60 people, mainly from social groups at risk(12 *5 organizations) that are the direct beneficiers(learners) and also around 125 indirect beneficiers.(25*5 organizations). The project promotes the social inclusion , volunteering and lifelong learning principles by offering an alternative of education through reading and story telling activities.<< Implementation >>Starting with the 4th month of the project, TRUST will provide monthly activities regarding reading and story telling with the direct and indirect beneficiers. Each organization will focus on 12 learners and 25 beneficiers.Periodicaly, each partner will develop meetings to implement reading and story telling activites, to promote personal development and increese of self esteem through diverse methods. The learner will be encouraged to write themselves stories, poetry and the organizations can help them publish during the project time. Also they can organize practical workshops during which they can make handicrafts needed for the interaction with the beneficiers, we can bring the learners to a theater or concert, we can facilitate an activity together with a writer, reading caffe, carusel of stories, exchange of books by starting up a library in rural areas, perform some plays to their audience by reading the scripts of the characters under the supervision of profesional actors, learning in information technologies to edit their stories digitally. Permanently the activities will be adapted in accordance with the beneficiers needs and their interests. During the project we will promote a eco friendly attitude. Thus, we will organize outdoor activities, the recycling of materials, walkings or biciclying.<< Results >>3 transnational learning activities(from which 1 is online) for the 60 learners from the target groups It will take place 4 transnational meetings (from which 1 online)for establishing the prochedures, methologies and assure a good management for the activities. For dissemination , each organization will organize a multiplier event such as round tables, conference and practical workshops. Monthly activities regarding reading and story telling with the direct and indirect beneficiers. The launching of 5 books with stories, 15 short movies,20 audiobooks, 5 media campaigns to promote reading among adults and phone application.During activities we will use the the “Storytelling” method. It allows a person to run out of a personal vulnerable concrete situation and to see its own problem as an outsider, to give a “context” to the problem. Looking to your problem as an outsider you can find new solutions to old problems, you can find answers that help. Having an international project with different groups(from Belgium, Romania, Bulgaria and Portugal) we will assist to a generalization view of the specific problems, such as the discriminatory practices, the exclusion from work, the poverty, the domestic violence problems. The Story Telling Method will be a participatory method in which each direct beneficiary into the project will participate, come with proposal, re-structured the method and evaluate it in accordance with the proposed and reached results. All the proposed activities will focus on promoting reading together concept. Our learners will read together during the organized monthly activities, they also will read in pairs with their pair of beneficiars. Our goal on larger scale is that our learners will practice learning as a daily activity and that they will practice the reading together concept in their families. In this way the project will impact in time in children because „Reading Together, especially between grown ups and children, is one of the most beautiful things in the world. If it is done right. And especially if it is done often. Daily, actually.”Books can also offer children, as they mature, the opportunity to think about the bigger issues of life: human relationships, change and loss. The emotional power of narrative means that books can heal, can empower can be a mean of therapy and this is what our projects proposes.

<< Background >>Intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence are two of the multiple intelligences described by Howard Gardner (Frames of Mind. A theory about Multiple Intelligences, 1983), but they have not been seen as important within the standard education system, nor for a long time in the world at large. There are difficulties envisioning a formal integration of these skills in the classroom context, considered sometimes a likely distraction from the more important task of teaching basic academic skills.Concepts such as self-awareness, self-esteem, self-knowledge, empathy, coordination with others, communication or service orientation are not usually trained in the school, but they are a range of intra and interpersonal skills that will become the foundations of the personality in later life. These skills are turning as key elements in the holistic development of the human being, both from a personal or professional point of view, as it is set in last reports (The Future of Jobs. World Economic Forum. 2018).This split between academic and life skills derives from and informs the way people think about where skill development happens once children are of school age. The dominant public model holds that the home environment (the “family bubble”) is by far the most important early life location for children’s skill development across the spectrum of skills, including social, communication, emotional, disciplinary and basic academic skills. In this way of thinking, parents mold their children through a potent mix of nurturance, discipline and instruction, which combine to establish the basis for a child’s sound development. The project is is born from the deep reflection about the needs of our students, our school, the community and the relationships established between them in their development. In a world where all of us are “connected” we are losing the capacity to appreciate the values and the efforts of those we have around us, those “anonym” persons who face very difficult situations in almost a heroic way. This is the departure point for Superhero, which is born from the deep reflection about the needs of our students, our school, the community and the relationships established between them in their development. In a world where all of us are “connected” we are losing the capacity to appreciate the values and the efforts of those we have around us, those “anonym” persons who face very difficult situations in almost a heroic way.Following this spirit, Colegio Séneca (Córdoba, Spain) developed in the school year 2018-19 the project involving all the educative community, since their students at all levels, to teachers, administrative staff, Parents Association and the whole community. Under this umbrella and considering the experience of the centre, the project had a transversal approach, affecting all the areas, subjects and levels, serving as a hub for the whole academic year. Superhero was built over two axis:- an intrapersonal one (the hero inside me) - an interpersonal one (the hero by my side). The project ended with a selection of famous and not so well known men and women that have been key elements in the development of their societies. In 2019, Colegio Séneca and Superhero were awarded as the best educational project in Spain with the Princess of Girona Foundation Award, a successful concept that deserves to be transferred to all the European societies. This is why we have decided to apply SUPERHERO.<< Objectives >>SUPERHERO has as its main goal the rising awareness not only of students, but also families, educative staff and the whole community, about their capacity to answer their everyday problems. Also, the project wants to raise awareness and value those close people who face difficult situations and those who work in worthy causes (non-profit organizations, health professionals, volunteers, members of security bodies, carers of the elderly, etc.). All of them will be our anonymous heroes who will serve as references during the course of the project, as well as the mirror to look at ourselves in order to develop in the students and families the initiative to overcome challenges and, at the same time, being able to help others. Our Project aims at developing personal and interpersonal skills in students aged 12-16, developing their own competences, strengths, self-esteem and self-knowledge, but also creating a sense of community in a key period for the development of the personality and the beginning of adolescence. The concept of superhero will be the line to develop concepts such as gender equality, empathy, a sense of entrepreneurship, cooperation with others and finally, a raising awareness of our own capacities and those existing in the people close to us.- Superhero wants to generate a change in three different levels:- Students.
