It seeks to promote beer as part of the art and intangible cultural heritage of the EU. All of this is linked to the EU organic products market that has been experiencing a strong growth in demand and production over the last 10 years. Such great demand for Organic and Craft Beers (OCBs) has raised the necessity for the existence of this type of training course; one that's fully dedicated to beer and organic farming, targeting the interest of entrepreneurs that are seeking to tap into this market segment and would like to overcome any knowledge gaps in this regard. Thus, it is important for industry professionals (craft beer producers, breweries, farmer entrepreneurs) to have the key skills and competences needed to match and address these challenges. It is a question of perceiving organic brewing and craft beers not only from a technical point of view, but also with regards to the given territory and heritage, and the producers' relationship with their customers. In the partners’ countries, there are courses on organic farming in agricultural universities – however, such courses are largely classroom-based and of at least a two-year duration. There are also several courses on agricultural farming offered by VET centres, but they are too generic and have no specific focus on beer production or compiled methodologies for craft beer techniques. Farmers and entrepreneurs who do not have the time or the possibility to attend a full course in order to start growing and producing organic beer, therefore have no other viable training option in their communities. As proven in past Erasmus+ projects, targeted and tailored training is required to meet the needs of the target group, in our case, focusing on organic malt and hops farming. The TAPROOM proposal offers an innovative vocational training process to support the development of OCB in Europe, integrating into a common curriculum all aspects of the development of organic production (farming techniques, production methods, marketing, communication, ethics & social responsibility, as well as bridging with art and cultural heritage). The main outputs of the project are: a TAPROOM learning Model; a TAPROOM Training course; a TAPROOM Manual for trainers; a Platform with an Interactive repository section; aTAPROOM Guidebook on certification of organic & craft beer production & marketing. The aim of the project is to enhance the competitiveness of European breweries and craft beer makers through development of their potential for the production and promotion of organic and craft beers. The project therefore seeks to:-Develop a course dedicated to organic and craft beer production for professionals and future professionals, complementing the training offered in agricultural and agronomic education.-Develop specific knowledge and competences in EU beer makers to produce and promote organic and craft techniques.-Meet the needs of the breweries and craft-beer-makers for specific and tailored-made training on production.-Support beer makers to enter the organic and craft beer market and boost their growth potential.-Encourage the application of organic farming and production approaches.-Promote the use of sustainable agricultural methods -Facilitate cooperation and technical transfers among European countries and European stakeholders; -Remind & develop awareness on the fact that beer is part of the cultural, gastronomic and landscape heritage of the country. The specific target groups of the project are:- Breweries & craft beer-makers wishing to engage in conversion to organic farming but lacking comprehensive and integrated training with detailed information for each step of the process.- Potential entrepreneurs who do not come from the agricultural world and have not gone through the traditional agricultural training systems - therefore often missed by the professional agricultural organizations supporting traditional beer producers.- Trainers from EU VET institutions active in the field of Agri and processing sector. The expected impact and long term benefits on national and EU levels are:- Coverage of the needs for innovative multidisciplinary, experience-oriented and user-friendly approaches for the development of professional competences of farmers, agronomists and breweries in production of organic and craft beers;- Transfer of know-how and experience on beer production & marketing;- Raised awareness of the local community on the value and importance of the intangible cultural heritage of brewery traditions.

To tackle environmental threats is an urgent need for our society, confirmed also by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which need to be achieved by 2030. This process of change requires knowledge, skills and the will to convert current socio-economic models into more sustainable ones; all of these components, however, are not yet developed in young people. In Italy, only 17% of young people under 27 know the 17 goals of sustainable development, and for 6 of them out of 10, it will be up to future generations to achieve these goals. With these needs in mind, CSA has decided to build a strategic partnership for the exchange of good practices in environmental education and eco-compatibility of human activities. It will be composed of 4 European partners, based in Germany, Hungary, Spain and Italy, and 1 Israeli partner, a world leader in saving natural spaces and educating young people in active initiatives for nature. CSA has privileged a cross-sectoral approach, and chosen to involve partners specialized in different fields, from youth training (CSA) to sustainable urban development (GARAPEN), from industrial production and circular economy (ITALCAM) to school education (KÖZGAZDASÁGI POLITECHNIKUM ), from technological innovation to youth activism (SPNI). 18 participants aged between 18 and 60 will be selected, among people committed to youth work or to projects aimed at supporting young people in sustainable development. Particular attention will be dedicated to include 5 participants with fewer opportunities. The project will be for them a precious opportunity to overcome economic, social, cultural or geographical barriers. All participants will take part in the on-site activities of the project, in the online sessions for sharing of materials and in 4 joint training events in each European partner country.Non-formal methods will be preferred to share good practices, based on experiential and ""learning by doing"".Thanks to meetings with researchers, entrepreneurs, local development authorities, students, etc., the participants will be able to improve their role as guides and facilitators, able to produce knowledge and correct information and, at the same time, to carry out a 'pedagogical' function, helping adults of tomorrow to adopt eco-friendly behaviours.Mobility periods will represent a ""creative"" moment, in which participatory techniques will be adopted, such as Future Workshops, World Cafes, Brainstorming, Storytelling, Debriefing, Laboratories, which will be replicated by each participant in their own countries, in activities involving young people.A platform (RESourCE) will also be created; it will be a virtual space where materials, success stories, events, laboratories, videos of outdoor activities will converge. It will be open not only to partner organizations and young people, but also to all those subject interested in developing eco-sustainability initiatives (public bodies, schools and universities, youth associations, companies).During the entire duration of the project, the contents and results of the project will be disseminated, both through ICT channels and through events in schools, youth centres, public bodies, companies, trade associations etcThanks to the support of local authorities, private institutes, environmental bodies, professionals, both local and national , and through the online platform, the project will continue to support itself and to produce its positive impact even after the formal closure of the European funding."

In the last 3 years, the average production in Spain reached 1.3 mln tonnes per year.Almost the totality of the production is obtained in 4 Member States: Spain (63%), Italy (17%), Greece (14%) & Portugal (5%); together cover around 99% of the production in the EU.Other important olive oil producing countries are Croatia & Cyprus (EC/News/04.Feb.2020/Agriculture & rural development). OlivaEco partnership includes members from all thesecountries except Greece.Among the key findings of the ‘Study on the implementation of conformity checks in the olive oil sector throughout the EU’, published by the European Commission on 04/02/2020, isthe lack of resources either in terms of staff or in terms of funding. On the other side, on a global scale, the organic food market has been thriving with sales of organic foods in the EU above €40 billion. Realizing it has strong potential, many olivefarmers have been switching to organic olive farming. However, organic olives & olive oil (OO&OO) are both high quality products with high value compared to other types & shouldcertified by competent quality bodies in each Member State. The production of OO&OO ensures a better quality for the final consumer & a better price for the producer. It alsocontributes to the sustainability of the agriculture production & environment protection since it does not use chemicals or other artificial fertilizers. In all cases, all organic production rules must be met in order the final product (the olive oil) to be allowed to be marketed as such. The initial period or the three year transition period isquite difficult for the producers. During that time they require more support - both technically & economically. Besides, they need good training in order to be well prepared for thisperiod as well as for the actual process of OO&OO production. For EU OO&OO producer, the knowledge & competences they must master are quite multi-folded:- maintain & renew the old olive groves- develop new plantations with more productive varieties- master organic production techniques/treatments to fight most dangerous diseases (olive moth & olive fly & Xylella fastidiosa)- strengthen the processing & innovate with new organic products (dry olives; olives with herbs, olive paste, stuffed olives, olive oil with garlic/herbs/additional flavours, etc.)- better promote traditional products (vacuum or canned olives, olive oil, etc.)- valorize the important natural & cultural heritage associated with the olive groves (landscapes, dry stone walls, ancient hydraulic systems, biodiversity, etc.) through touristic activities- transform to organic production to enhance their competitiveness & respond better to the growing market demand.<< Objectives >>EcoOlive shall envisage the development of a thorough & interactive course in organic olives & olive oil production & marketing, Manual for trainers, Platform with interactive repository section, Guide on certification of organic olives & olive oil & utilization of olive groves’ potential”.The aim of the project is to enhance the competitiveness of the EU olive farmers & olive oil producers through development of their potential for production & promotion of organic olives & olive oil.The main objectives shall be to:- enhance the development opportunities & boost the growth potential of EU olive farmers & olive oil producers by entering a market of organic olives & olive oil;- develop specific knowledge & competences in the EU olive farmers & olive oil producers to produce & promote OO&OOs by providing a transversal, multidisciplinary & tailor-madetraining on organic olives & olive oil production, pest control & promotion;- remind & develop awareness that the olives & olive groves are part of the cultural, historical & landscape heritage of the country;- encourage the application of organic farming & production approaches among new & existing olive farmers & olive oil producers.- promote wider use of organic olives & olive oil among EU customers.EcoOlives consortium includes partners from the 3 of the top 4 olive oil producing countries in EU & 5 of the top 10. Thus, the final outputs will be made applicable & will be disseminated among the majority of the olive & olive oil producers in EU.<< Implementation >>The main objectives of the proposal are to: enhance the growth potential of EU olive & olive oil producers; to develop their knowledge and competences in the production andpromotion of organic olive & olive oil through a transversal, multidisciplinary and tailor-made training to their specific needs; to increase the support they receive & to encourage theapplication of organic farming and production approaches among the target groups as well as to remind & develop awareness about the potential of the olive groves as part of thenational heritage. To achieve the defined objective the partnership will develop the following outputs:* development of an integrated, holistic and comprehensive training course in production & marketing of organic olives & olive il with strong focus on the organic farming methods; howto prevent, control & fight pest and diseases in the groves (with specific focus on P. oleae, B. oleae & Xylella fastidiosa); branding and marketing of a specific items like organic olives(&olive products) & olive oils and awareness about the place of the olive groves in the heritage & culture of the region.* creation of a e-learning platform that will enable to trainees to undergo the training materials in their own pace and time combined with a rich interactive repository consisting ofvarious materials (text, videos, interactive resources) that will support the trainees in their learning process and will enhance their skills and competences in the both topics.<< Results >>The EcoOlive partners will commence with the development of a Learning model that will lay down the basis, structure & methodology of the training course. Based on it, the partners will elaborate the content for the Training course & for the Manual for trainers. Each partner will create certain sections & units of the course based on their experience, knowledge and know-how on the topic. To further facilitate the trainees, the partners will develop also an Interactive repository & section with tests and exercises to support them in the process of learning & acquiring new skills & enhancing their own competences and knowledg on the topic of organic production & marketing of olives and olive oil.

This pandemic crisis had a sudden and substantial impact on the arts, cultural and creative employment sector. Young artists, already, had a difficult task of promoting their work even before the pandemic. Nowadays their work has been heavily affected due to the limitations and measures imposed by the various authorities in order to manage effectively this pandemic. Freelancing in the creative sector or having an artistic oriented career has never been more difficult than at this moment. One could argued that after the catastrophic consequences of coronavirus, they may be working in a society that increasingly perceives what they do as a “low-value” occupation. Most of the times young people employed in the creative sector, due to the nature and demands deriving from their work, their focus shifts from practical aspects to creativity in order to excel and be recognized in their domain. There it not enough focus and attention on entrepreneurship skills which will eventually could help them promote their products as well as to have a contingency plan in case of a prevalent crisis. Therefore, the creation of a friendly based social entrepreneurship course tailored to their specific needs, may become the key to counter the above challenges.SE4A promotes the notion that artists can be transformed to Creative entrepreneurs through the utilization of digital technology and tools. Young artists across EU will be empowered and enabled to undertake innovative initiatives to promote their work. It is argued that a digital creative based social entrepreneurship is capable to provide the environment to cultivate and enhance their business skills without deviating from their creativity skills and critical thinking.SE4A will serve as a pilot program to promote non-formal and informal learning, mobility and active participation among young people, as well as cooperation, quality, inclusion, creativity and innovation at the level of organisations in the field of youth. It will address the needs and barriers young artists face in accessing market opportunities and acquire them with the necessary entrepreneurial (soft and hard) skills to exhibit and market their work, manage finances and establish business collaborations. It will provide interactive f2f and distance learning (certified) training, coaching and mentorship to promote their artistic products and develop business ideas. Finally, a pan-European e-contemporary art space will be created; committed to explore new territories in creative expression through the display of their art projects in virtual exhibitions. The project targets a number of different participants to get involved into various planned activities; It is expected that 180 Young Artists (any social status and from deprived environments) as well as senior students of tertiary education in creative art will participate in the project stages - development, implementation, dissemination and exploitation. Moreover, 5000 various stakeholders, additionally, primarily professionals will be reached through the dissemination of products. Each partner in the consortium has solid grounding networks in the field of formal and non-formal youth education and everyone developed strong and trustworthy ties in their local networks. The outcomes will produce long lasting effects at local, national & European level.<< Objectives >>The proposed project promotes the notion that artists can be transformed to Creative entrepreneurs, fundamentally responsible for earning a living in a way that traditional professions never encounter. Through the utilization of digital technology and tools, the creative oriented based professions will gain unprecedented access and opportunities to reach their audience directly in a period of time, affected by restrictions and restrains due to Covid 19 pandemic. By challenging traditional entrepreneurship training and education by introducing an e learning environment, Young artists will be empowered and enabled to undertake innovative initiatives to promote their work. The current proposal argues that a digital creative based social entrepreneurship course is capable to provide the enabling environment to cultivate and enhance their business skills without deviating from their creativity skills and critical thinking. Reflecting on the above discussion, it is expected that through the project’s activities young artist will be stimulated and enabled to acquire the necessary entrepreneurial (soft and hard skills) such as competencies to market their work, manage finances, establish business collaboration and to introduce creative tool kits that will further enhance their entrepreneurial mindset in a more simple and comprehensive approach through a unified online platform. The overall scope is to offer multi-faceted CE opportunities to the target group by utilizing ICT technology to empower and support their social inclusion process into the host societies. The project is planning to introduce an effective social entrepreneurship training system which will equipped the target group with tacit knowledge such as virtues, critical thinking so as to strengthen their autonomy, self-efficacy, to self-confidence and enhance their cognitive skills. It will also provide business wise knowledge about the market opportunities .Young artists and senior students of tertiary education in creative majors such as arts will comprise the target group. The SE4A objectives are to:•Provide artists and creatives with effective and concrete tools to develop an enterprising approach, review, solve problems, plan and scope their creative project •Support and guide artists and creatives to make their projects more sustainable by learning how to plan, assess, identify the state-of-art and manage their “entrepreneurial” project•update their professional competences and acquire management, business and networking skills;•Create and pilot tools and practical models to foster collaborations between the world of creativity and the world of business through the mutual exchange of professional skills and visions of artists and social entrepreneurs. Therefore, partnership with European organization and institution will encourage the creation of a think tank in order to elaborate further and design tailored made entrepreneurship modules. Through the transnational meetings, partner organizations’ representatives of key institutions, civil society, and other stakeholders will enrich the project’s activities through sharing their best practices, thus add value to the implementation of the objectives. The transnational implementation of this project is necessary in order to provide a forum and enabling environment for the relevant stakeholders to rethink and re-evaluate the social inclusion process, through the modern holistic approaches to social entrepreneurship training and education. Further, the SE4A program is designed to provide groundbreaking methodologies and innovative tools to enhance their entrepreneurial competencies in these restrictive times of Covid 19, start up, expand their business and market their products through the and implementation of a well design mentor and coaching program tailored to their own specific needs. Finally, it has the potential of scaling up at EU level.<< Implementation >>Throughout the implementation of the proposed project, a number of activities will be design, fine-tuned and instigated. In particular the following activities will be accomplished:1.Protocol for the acquisition of skills and competences on entrepreneurship: Development of a protocol for the identification of strengths and weaknesses of the different approaches in relation to young artists and entrepreneurship. The primary aim of the protocol will be to develop alternative accessible ways of learning and acquiring entrepreneurial skills through the development of a repository of innovations in terms of young artists’ entrepreneurship education. Moreover, possible existing obstacles and challenges will be identified and addressed through the training curriculum.2.Curriculum for the acquisition of new skills and competences in entrepreneurship: The project foresees the development of a training curriculum, which will equip young artists with entrepreneurial skills and competences to promote their work, increase their business competence, increase their knowledge in networking and outreach techniques, gain access to prospective customers and markets, secure funding and fundraising. The curriculum will be comprised of six units.3.E-learning interactive portal: An e-learning portal will be developed on a web server using a CMS (Content Management System) and will serve as a learning environment for acquiring entrepreneurial knowledge and skills as well as a networking platform for young artists and their prospective customers. The platform will serve as a focal point to promote and advertise their work. Furthermore, though the utilization of the platform the target group will have the opportunity to create an e-contemporary art space committed to exploring new territories in creative expression through a diverse program of exhibition and various projects.4.Development of modules contents and outline to equivalent EQF/ECTS Standards: By adopting the notion that a growing number of learners would like to certify the gained knowledge from the modules, the project will adjust the format of modules to become equivalent to EQF and ECTS standards.5.Design and implementation of Mentoring Program: Implementation of a Mentoring Program to assist emerging artists to develop new and existing skills in their preferred art medium while also learning important skills for entering careers in the arts. Participants will have the opportunity to choose their preferred artistic medium and receive coaching to promote their artistic products and develop business ideas. The Mentor program aims to provide support and guidance to prospective young artists and help them prepare an artistic portfolio, to display their art project to display via the E-Platform.6.Best European practices on providing social entrepreneurship to young artist. 7.Learning toolkit: Inclusive and sustainable instructional approaches/scenarios. 8.Dissemination Plan: the aim is to Increase awareness about projects’ products, expected outcome and results through an awareness and dissemination campaign.<< Results >>The project will produce a range of results and other outcomes. Among these, those most relevant to our project are those related to raising the employment rate in a Europe marked by the severe economic situation in which it fell at the end of the first 10 years of the new millennium. In this regard, the Commission presented ""the agenda for new skills and jobs"", where the aim is to lay the foundations for modernizing labour markets and increase employment levels. Our project intends to make new teaching models structural and permanent (based on digital platforms with multi-linear teaching paths, ranging from e-learning to serious gaming, able to customize the teaching procedures and offer tools for informal learning from the perfect scalability) and new training profiles (such as the media educator, indispensable for the creation of an educational system in line with the needs and opportunities offered by the labour market) to integrate, and not make disappear, the skills of classical knowledge and our cultural heritage with the productive, artistic and media forms of contemporary life.Today educational institutions, training institutes and companies are facing the complex and radical transformations caused by the increase and impact of digital media. Leading them in the transition to the digital age and towards innovative approaches is essential to keep Europe competitive on the international scene. Through a trans-sectorial approach, which promotes cooperation between organizations in various sectors, the project intends to invest in the development of skills, both to increase the employment potential and the career prospects of students and to improve and strengthen the quality of the teaching and learning.Expected results:- Promote the recognition of the professional qualification of the ""Media Educator"" and its introduction in the NCO - National Occupational Classifications - of the 7 partner countries;- Introduce, in the National Repertoires for the certification of the competencies of the partner countries involved, a specific title of education and training, also through a shared system of recognition of educational credits in a European key;- TESEO Toolkit (O2).
