Bad habits will negatively influence their future life and they can probably transfer on their kids in addition. Majority of them do not realize that the food they eat in the present moment really do have an impact on their physical health, impacts their psyche, concentration while learning and the quality of the given effort. It will also influence their future life (wellbeing, choice of profession and broad approach to the life itself). “Feel the HEAT – Healthy Eating Active Teens” is strategical partnership based on the cooperation of the three primary schools from Slovakia, Poland and Italy. We have created this project to contribute to the solution of serious social problem which affects all of us directly. We want to focus attention of pupils (and indirectly of their parents too) by the interesting activities mainly targeted on healthier lifestyle, done through physical activities and healthy choice of meals.Goals of the project:Main aim of the project is to reach pupils' awareness that unhealthy eating and lack of the physical activity have negative impact on the quality of life. Principles of healthy eating habits should be at least partly implemented into the daily lives of the pupils. Other goals are to motivate pupils:-to increase their interest about the English language through its practical use in real life context,-to use ICT reasonably -to explore new cultures, to realize similarities and differences and establish new contacts-to develop cooperation, to erase prejudices while working with disadvantaged pupils.Amount of the participants and their profile:This partnership includes approximately 20 teachers from each school, 60 – 80 pupils from different cultural, social and historical backgrounds, parents, sports clubs, community centres and local communities. Description of activities:Activities in first year are focused to support healthy eating habits. Pupils will have the possibility to think about their eating habits, continuously, from gaining information to their evaluation, mutual comparison, to practical skills with the preparation of food. They should be able to implement these information and knowledge into the daily lives. Movement activities should bring pupils to the realization and desire to spend their free time with natural physical activities based on age group. Each activity shows pupils that they can be active part of it. We want to maximally diminish and erase prejudices and show that physically impaired don´t have to be necessarily excluded from the world of sport. We also want to support tolerance and equality in sports. Methodology: Project activities are divided into the specific phases – preparation for activity, realisation and monitoring, creation of the output, dissemination of results. Many activities will be realized with the use of ICT tools. Pupils will work in mixed international groups, dealing with fulfilment of more tasks (cooking of food, knowledge quiz, sports tournament, physical activities, art activities) while different mobilities. Description of the results:Result of this project are 8 main outputs – logo and webpage of the project, Erasmus + wall, brochure “ Traditional food healthier”, calendar, herbs garden, tea bags from herb garden, project dance “ HEAT” and 8 partial outputs – PP Presentations about the project, mind map ""What do we know about healthy lifestyle"", 2 kinds of questionaires with evaluation, banner, balanced diet poster, food pyramid, materials dealing with Water day. Expected impact:We expect that participants of the project will understand and accept idea of an healthy lifestyle and that there be a will to apply knowledge into life, that they improve their language and ICT competencies, discover new cultures, understand what is tolerance and equality and that they improve cooperation skills. We suppose that our schools will gain prestige in the local area and that relationship between school and parents will improve. Long-term benefits:Project will serve as the tool of improvement and enrichment of usual school activities, also partly by the fact that project activities “ herb garden, production of tea bags from herb garden and cooking by healthier alternative” will be done even after the end of the whole project. Products will be offered within actions which are organized by city and school during the school year."

Karola Musiola w Opolu,Istituto Comprensivo Garibaldi,Agrupamento de Escolas Alexandre Herculano,Pohjankartanon yläaste, Oulun kaupunki,3rd Gymnasium of MytileneFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2019-1-PT01-KA229-060693Funder Contribution: 162,693 EURThis Project was established upon some very clear objectives having both: teaching and learning intents. The main issues we'll deal with are humanitarian issues, new learning strategies combining new methods and digital skills and the need to make our schools evolve into a new social and digital era. Having these ideas in mind the Portuguese partner (who is the main Coordinator) set a profile and searched for other partners that would fit the profile. The main focus was based upon historical contexts and geographical locations as well as humanitarian issues involving one's country. Then according to a SWOT analysis four partners were chosen and all of them can enhance and boost the outcomes of this Project in a specific way. Portugal and Finland will help students understand about people's flows, Italy and Poland about some major historical episodes and Greece about migrants actual situation. Having these scenarios set we'll be able to draw a comparison study among all schools taking into consideration History, Geography and social and political measures of different European countries. We will also work with students based upon a new learning strategy: Design Thinking. This way students will be motivated to develop critical thinking, creativity in problem solving as well as entrepreneurship concepts to reach for innovative digital outcomes such as the creation of digital apps and QR codes. Different subjects and different issues of each partners own curriculum will be worked within this project so the Erasmus Team at each school will focus on subjects such as English, ICT, History, Geography, Maths and Social Education. The chosen teams regarding teachers and students will be dynamic and motivated to work within the above themes. We will work with two different classes of students and create within each school an Erasmus Club. The involvement of younger and older students will enhance the social and humanitarian perspective that'll reach within each school at the end of the project. We've established the grounds for an efficient communication among partners having created online groups (such as an eTwinning group and a whatsapp group), a collaborative working disk that will be used throughout the Project and an effective dissemination plan based upon social media means and official means such as each school's website and the future project website. A short-term joint staff training event was set so all representative teachers from each Erasmus team from each school can learn together upon eTwinning and digital apps that will be used during the Project. Four LTT activities were set according to the major guidelines of the Project: starting with a discussion upon social and humanitarian issues, moving on to a direct contact with History, then a direct contact with reality and ending with a final presentation of the digital outcomes of this Project: two digital books, six newsletters, QR codes, AR scenarios and digital apps. Teachers involved within this project will guide students through the study of historical, geographical and social facts; students will be motivated to participate in Design Thinking process in order to develop ideas that will lead to the digital outcomes; apart from all this work, students will also commemorate some major celebration days and be involved in humanitarian short projects within the Erasmus Club. Collaborative work and online sessions will also be promoted so that a constant and meaningful communication can be established and developed by teachers and students. The digital outcomes will remain after the project officially ends because they're meant to spread knowledge and information not only to migrants/immigrants/disadvantageous groups of students but to each school's community and to other schools and institutions as well. The eTwinning project created within this Erasmus Project will also be maintained so that new ideas and social projects may be developed and shared among schools.
