These events have put into a delicate position these organisations in terms of financing resources. Most of their incomes come from public funds which are decreasing year every year. On the other hand, their profits coming from private corporations are not a reliable source of income. Therefore, they are obliged to find new models to generate profits that could make sustainable their services. Apart from that, this project will help them to offer new services to their target groups. For example, they could provide entrepreneurial services to persons at risk of exclusion they are working with. DRAGGING project results will meet all these needs by creating several project results that could be transformed into different services and tools for its target groups.Regarding local public administrations, the model proposed by DRAGGING will help them to create local synergies with local social services providers. Local public administrations mostly are not aware of the capacities and services local NGOs and local third sector organisations could provide. Therefore, they launch calls for providers that normally are won by other non-local corporations specialised in such calls. Our approach consists in reduce the gap between local administrations and local social organisations in order to generate a bank of business opportunities to which these organisations may apply. DRAGGING will set up the tools and the methodology that will make this possible.<< Objectives >>DRAGGING has a clear objective, to help with the following three challenges: to diversify the sources of income for NGOs, take advantage of new legislations/public hiring opportunities and generate job opportunities for people at risk of exclusion. This will be done by training professionals through a mentoring process where they will be provided with training in different subjects (business strategy, finance, marketing, etc.) while consulting work on the ideal business model is carried out to meet all administration needs. Everything will serve to create companies together with people at risk of exclusion with whom they are working with and to cover the main need, employment.<< Implementation >>The activities that we are planning to implement are:1. Conduct a territorial analysis that will provide us information about the stakeholders involved and the challenges to be faced. Furthermore, this mapping will help us to identify the potential participants in the project activities at an early stage.2. In order to generate business ideas, we will create focus group in which public administrations and other stakeholders such as companies and/or business professionals will provide and discuss these ideas. Afterward, these ideas will be analysed and business models to develop them will be drafted. Once analysed and develop these business models will be upload to the online marketplace developed to this end.3. A online digital course will be created to provide support to the persons at risk of exclusion that will decide to entrepreneur with NGOs. 15 courses at the EU level will be analysed in terms of contents, learning methodologies, and follow-up KPIs. Mentors and entrepreneurs will validate these contents. Also, it will be created an online platform to include the contents and provide the training.4. As impact is really important to social projects, we will generate a methodological approach to measure the impact of our new entrepreneurs and the activities carried out within the project. The deliverable will be a practical methodology to provide figures and details on the impact generated by the project.<< Results >>DRAGGING will produce 4 PRs:PR1. Territorial analysis on the most important stakeholders and challenges.PR2. An online business ideas marketplace where the business ideas arose from the cooperation amongst stakeholders will be placed.PR3. A digital training course focused on those persons at risk of exclusion (involved in a NGO) willing to create their own micro-companies.PR4. A methodology to measure the impact of social entreprises. Also, the project will produce the following TANGIBLE OUTCOMES:1 Material generated by the action:-- Questionnaires for the focus groups in PR1.-- Report on business opportunities and entrepreneurial mentoring challenges in PR1.-- Local agreements to foster entrepreneurial mentoring of people at risk of exclusion.-- Creation of a methodological framework for business ideas.-- The design of mentoring.-- Report on training needs for the online course.-- Report on the entrepreneurship training course at EU level.-- The design of a Business Manual for the online course.-- Training contents in wiki format.-- Analysis Report on social impact measurement.-- New set of indicators to measure impact.2 Communication materials:-- Best practices related to the experiences and the work done in each project result.-- Success stories.-- Communication materials: infographics, leaflets, website, press releases, news, etc.-- Increase the number of youngsters hired in the partners' local areas.-- A total of 150 people will attend the Multiplier Events and 600 will be contacted by email (100 per member). -- It is estimated that the impact of the project's website will receive 1,000 visits, supporting its dissemination from the Social Networks. -- Presentations for the 60 visits to different entities explaining the project will be made during the project (10 per partner) -- All the contents and news will be done to be disseminated through the different Social Networks of the partners (Linkedin, Facebook, Youtube, etc.), creating a multiplying effect and generating 18,000 visualizations during the project, 3,000 per partner.3 Direct impacts:-- Number of NGO professionals participating in the project: 40 directly (5 per NGO) and some 200 contacted in 3 countries-- Number of entrepreneurs at risk of exclusion: 9 directly (3 in 3 countries) and approx 60 contacted-- Number of local and regional authorities: 9, 3 in 3 countries-- Number of teachers/mentors from the business environment: about 8 directly involved in the training and about 60 contacted-- Number of chambers of commerce: 6 informed, at least 1 per member-- Number of business associations: 30 informed, at least 5 per member-- Number of incubators: 12 informed, at least 2 per partner-- Number of technology centres: 12 informed, at least 2 per partner

Although the digital divide between generations is being closed by older people, they are still rather slow to adopt new technologies. Among the various private time activities done online by older people aged 65-74, the most popular were sending emails (44%), seeking health information (about 34%), Internet banking (about 31%) and phone/video calls (24%). For people aged 55-64 these activities were a bit more prevalent - 62% used emails, 47% searched for health info, 46% did online banking, and 38% called using video (EUROSTAT, 2019). Older people are generally less likely to use ICT than the population in general. As for the social media presence, while 54% of EU-27 adults (17-64) use it regularly, only about 18% of seniors (65-74) are active in those communication means. This social media gap is even more visible in the case of the Partnership countries engaged in preparing this application. Just looking at Poland, in comparison with Sweden, Denmark and Belgium there are 4 times less older people using social media. This project aims at improving the lives of elderly people, by better preparing them to fully use the possibilities of Internet and become more visible in social media. Creating the innovative SeniorVlog Training and Mentoring Program will offer a structured approach to equipping senior adult learners and at the same time Internet users with key digital competences and skills allowing them to become Vloggers visible in the Internet community just as senior citizens are more and more visible in our “real world” sociaties. The aim of the mentoring support will be to create a safe workplace and interpersonal connections (so important and lacking these days!), where the generation gap will have a chance to narrow down thanks to gamification elements, encouragement of intergenerational dialogue. The program will be a chance to connect different vlogging styles, themes and intergenerational and international vlogging conversations. Our innovative SeniorVlog training and mentoring program would help seniors grow and share their passion, knowledge, become more self-confident as providers of content and know-how. The course will also help in a case of quite common situation - lack of a person from the immediate family or environment who would find the time and patience to introduce the senior to the initially complicated virtual world. For this to be possible and customized to the different needs of senior adult learners, this project’s other target groups will be adult (ICT) educators in NGOs, senior activity centers or other education institutions who will be equipped with new skills in senior adults mentoring and ICT teaching. Also, the online version of the Senior Vlogging Guide is intended to reach many adult Internet users willing to start Vlogging, with no strict age limits. The project falls directly in the Erasmus+ Program goals. It includes and activates senior citizens in taking charge of their future, creates and develops flexible learning offers adapted to the learning needs of disadvantaged adults who may be at risk of age-discrimination. The program promotes social inclusion and offers new adult education opportunities, particularly for senior adults with a lower level of digital skills, ICT knowledge and competences and for employees of Partner organizations – now with a chance for a new opportunity and innovative Vlogging mentor/educator role. The SeniorVlog program will foster the development of social and key competences, offer opportunities for participation in social life and social media. It will provide guidance and motivation strategies for Mentors and Educators as well as the end participants.<< Objectives >>Using the Internet brings many benefits for older people. As other various forms of activity it contributes to maintaining a sense of value, belonging and being needed, while taking intellectual effort allows senior people to maintain high efficiency of cognitive functions (Steuden, 2011). There is a great potential to not only increase the number of seniors active online, but also to assist them in entering social media activities (only 1.5% of older people in Poland use the Internet to publish content in social media). The main objective is to create an innovative SeniorVlog Training and Mentoring Program (SV-TMP) that will equip senior Internet users with key skills and digital competences allowing them to become more visible in social media as active content providers.Specific objectives of the project include:- increase knowledge of available senior vlogging initiatives/channels and their saturation in social media in each partner country- create an innovative SeniorVlog Training and Mentoring Program with gamification elements focused on building senior vlogging skills and competences and offering tailored support for seniors to quickly adopt and start using new digital skills in practice- develop and release a Mentoring Guidebook and recommendations for Senior Vloggers support- produce an interactive self-education simplified online training program “Senior Vlogging Guide” to promote pro-active preparation of valuable online content by Seniors and give them tools to do it- develop skills and competences of senior adults’ educators to teach older persons and to support - professionally mentor them in proactive social media activities, to encourage and inspire senior vlogging and online content creation- increase the prevalence and popularity of senior vloggers in social media by equipping senior Internet users in skills and tools allowing them to smoothly create content and vlog with satisfaction- improve life standards and well-being of the end-users – elderly citizens using the Internet, by providing them with specific digital skills, helping understand the modern world and the younger generation, build self-confidence in online community- raise awareness about the significance of social media presence for senior citizens of EU- upgrade the portfolios of senior adult educators, NGOs and other entities supporting seniors in acquiring ICT skills via the use of innovative SeniorVlog training program.Inclusion: This project will improve access to life-long learning activities for people at risk of social exclusion, age and technology discrimination. The SeniorVlog program will be designed to break the digital barrier of “the big world of social media” and the stereotype of Vlogging as reserved for relatively young people. It will also empower seniors by ameliorating their ICT skills and building self-confidence, by providing them with an innovative continuous improvement opportunity – a fresh package of skills and new competences. Digitalization: The project aims at improving the digital competences of the SeniorVlog Training and Mentoring Program participants, the senior adults educators as well as end-users: senior adult learners. It is foreseen to include digital tools to implement the project activities and the management of the project. It has an objective developing an online self-study course including simplified contents of the SeniorVlog training Program. The SeniorVlog program will include a main module to train ICT and digital skills of seniors, not only to make them more comfortable with the omnipresence of technology and online services, but to make them a full-fledged users and creators of Vlogs online.Entrepreneurship: The SV-TMP will include a module with elements of entrepreneurship training – encouragement to continue Vlogging professionally, as a way for seniors to make extra money and share their passion, to stay active. It will help them draft a plan for the newly created Vlog.<< Implementation >>Project Development and Delivery is constructed following a clear and methodological order organised around 4 workstreams. The below plan corresponds to the Project Activities and Project Timeline as this is presented in the Annexed ""Project Timetable"". The pandemic has had serious ramification on young people as well, among other, disrupting their opportunities for active community engagement. Yet, there is an evidenced increase of young people’s ambition and interest for supporting the most vulnerable members of their communities. The BONDING project encompasses a strong intergenerational learning and solidarity aspect, it addresses the need for increasing the opportunities for youth active community engagement through volunteering, on the one hand, and the need for strengthened support for elderly in overcoming their experiences of loneliness and isolation, on the other hand.It will result in development and piloting of resources, tools and educational activities for establishing and operating youth befriending services of benefit to elderly people. Befriending services rely on young volunteers whose contribution can be as simple as a weekly telephone call to an isolated older person, or extend to regular home visits for a chat and to help with shopping and so on, driving an elderly person to a social event, or even hosting coffee mornings for groups of elderly people. Befriending services are considered to stimulate intergenerational activities and learning exchange between elderly and youth volunteers. Existing research points out that befriending services can significantly help elderly overcome loneliness, as well as contribute to combating age stigmatisation and promoting active and healthy aging. Establishing and maintaining befriending services or becoming a volunteer befriender can be as valuable for the youngsters as for the persons they support, boosting their self-esteem and sense of purpose, acquiring a range of skills, competences and knowledge. By initiating, organising and providing voluntary befriending services to elderly people, young people make an important expression of active citizenship, and contribute to building social capital, cohesion and solidarity in their communities. Moreover, volunteerism can serve as an effective conduit to positive educational and career outcomes for youth, increasing the likelihood of finding employment. It can also help young people develop civic identity, as leaders and changemakers, and therefore become more socially and politically active adults.<< Objectives >>The BONDING project aims at enhancing the opportunities for young people’s civic engagement, through strengthening their competences in designing and conducting innovative volunteering services for elderly. The specific objectives of the project include: - Enhance the capacity of young people, youth and other organisations in establishing and maintaining volunteering services for the support of elderly.- Strengthen young people’s sense of initiative and active citizenship through volunteering with elderly as one of the most vulnerable groups in their communities. - Foster support for elderly in overcoming social isolation and loneliness.- Promote intergenerational learning and solidarity.<< Implementation >>PROJECT RESULTS • R1: E-publication Mapping the Befriending Landscape R1-A1: Design of research protocol and reports template R1-A2: Implementation of desk research in partners’ counties R1-A3: Implementation of key informant interviews R1-A4: Production of good practices and national reports R1-A5: Drafting of the e-publicationR1-A6: Drafting of policy recommendations - All partnersR1-A7: Peer review of the e-publication R1-A8: Finalization and design of the e-publication • R2: Youth Befriending Elderly: E-learning courseR2-A1: R2-A2: Development R2-A3: Piloting testing R2- A4: Evaluation and finalization R2-A5: Mentoring support • R3: Awareness-raising Toolkit R3-A1: Development of the content of the toolkit R3-A2: Piloting and Evaluation R3-A3: Finalization and Publication • R4: Befriending Networking Platform R4-A1: Specification and development of the technical infrastructure R4-A2: Content uploading and localization R4-A3: Pilot testing R4-A4: Update and release of the final version PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION • Project Management A1: Setting up the project A2: Project Communication A3: Project management and reporting • Quality Assurance and EvaluationA4: Quality Assurance and Evaluation PlanA5: Interim and Final Evaluation reports • Dissemination and exploitation A6: Dissemination and Exploitation PlanA7: Project branding and visual identificationA8: Media activity A9: Project Factsheets TRANSNATIONAL PROJECT MEETINGS M1: Kick-off meeting M2: Interim meeting M3: Final meeting MULTIPLIER EVENTSSeven (7) multiplier events will be organised, including 6 national Info & Networking sessions (one in each of the project countries), and 1 international Final conference. That area of social and health care services is becoming more and more important because Europe is facing an accelerated process of aging, which will increase in the next years (the percentage of persons aged over 65 years old is projected to be of 29,5% in 2060 - EUROPOP2010). The extent of elder abuse can be expected to grow with it (WHO. Media Centre 2017). However, it is widely understood that violence against older persons is underreported. The reasons for this are that the social and health care providers are inadequately trained in how to recognize violence and support older victims of domestic violence. There are also deficient national healthcare guidelines and lacking best practices for dealing with violence of older victims.Using screening tools for identification is rare in European health care services. SAVE project will use in earlier researches validated screening instruments to help professionals to recognize and assess violence and neglect of older persons. Screening for elder abuse is defined as a process of obtaining information about violent experiences in a caring or family relationship from older or vulnerable persons who do not have obvious sign of violence such as physical injuries. The rationale for screening among non-symptomatic persons is that identification may prevent future violence and reduce risk of future health impacts resulting from violence. Screening is considered particularly important for problems with serious health implications, and where overall rates of identification are considered low. This is certainly the case for elder abuse and neglect. (Margot J. Schofield 2017). As many as 80 percent of elder abuse cases may not be diagnosed (WHO 2008).Elder abuse is important to recognize because of significant psychological and physical consequences of violence, including cognitive impairment/dementia, depression and anxiety (Carmel Bitondo-Dyer et al 2000; Joan M. Cook et al 2011), bone or joint problems, digestive problems, high blood pressure and heart and lung problems (Lazenbatt et al 2010; Bonnie S.
