<< Objectives >>The main aim of the project is to develop pro-ecological attitudes and to show young people that it is possible to enjoy the benefits of nature without its degradation. Through the project we want to develop social, linguistic and environmental competences among the participants (teachers and students) and the people involved. The project also aims to develop and strengthen the international partnership between the two schools and their European dimension.<< Implementation >>The project activities can be divided into 2 categories: youth activities and teachers activities. 1.Within the framework of youth activities two mobilities will take place (Poland to Italy and Italy to Poland), in which a booklet will be developed on human behaviour in nature without its degradation. 2 Teachers will develop a script for a lesson and conduct an online seminar to demonstrate new and innovative teaching methods.Together young people and teachers will take part in a conferenc<< Results >>We hope that the project itself will have an impact on students, teachers and the local community. On the development of their pro-ecological attitudes, but also on the pro-European approach to the modern world. The participants will improve their key competences, but also develop the need for further development. In addition, teachers will develop new, innovative teaching methods, which they will share during the seminar. The school will gain a foreign partner and strengthen the European dimens

<< Objectives >>We do programming exercises together and collect feedback from both teachers and students. We want to develop the didactic and pedagogical skills of teachers in teaching programming and work on programming tasks suitable for 12 - 15 years old students. We also want to bring concrete to the study of programming and expand STEAM teaching in schools. Through peer learning and learning by doing, together with their foreign partners, students develop their social and language skills.<< Implementation >>We have two visits, one in the beginning and one in the end of the project. Teachers and students take part in workshops dealing with LEGO, picaxe and micro:bit programming. We have also two online meetings between the visits. In the meetings students present their solution for a specific programming challenge. During all these activities teachers share their development ideas, observations and exercises but also receive feed back from students.<< Results >>Teachers receive concrete practices and exercises for teaching programming. They can improve their didactic and pedagogical skills in teaching programming. Also STEAM education increases. The project is intended to inspire students to study programming. Students' and teachers' social and language skills develop through peer learning and learning by doing. Students' perceptions of their own strengths and ways of learning become clearer.

"The project is the result of a professional need of innovation and collaboration with other European partners.Divided into two school years,2014/2015 and 2015/2016 for a total duration of 24 months, the project aims to the following objectives: - to bring pupils, through a conscient observation of the different natualistic realities of each environment, to the environmental values of the communities they belong to and in which they exercice their values as citizens. - to developa sense of commun responsability for the well-being and grouth of local and European community.- to give instruments for an intensif emotional contact with natural landscape, which will help the students to be able of recognize and live their inner emotions.- to drive the teaching-learning and raising standards.- to connect more closely education to training.- to introduce the teaching of new languages.- to have the awareness and the respect of biodiversity through the realisation of artistic works such us a documentary and a concert. The schools involved are two, each one with an indispensable particularity for successful outcomes: The Secondary Compulsory school ""Dante Alighieri"" with musical vocational guidance claims the presence of teachers of music with a long experience in the didattic of ensemble music. The high school "" Empordà"" claims the presence of a very good staff of teachers thathave an educational program of innovation based on audiovisual subjects.Activities will be organised with an alternace of staff meetings and learning-teaching-training students activities ; mobilities, five in all, will foresee some moments of study and some moments of teaching-learning both for teachers and students. Metodology used to carry on the project provides not only an inductive-deductive approch but also group works, collaboration with peers, integrated development of the basic enables and cooperative learning. The results envisaged are tangible and intagible. The first are : the documentary, the concert and the curriculum; the latter are the implimentation of the capabilities of observation and of listening; the acquisition of some knowledge on the environment and on the ecosystems analysed, the development of sensibility and of artistic talents, the consciuous use of technological instruments. The purpuse is that one of reorganizating the way of teaching, of extending training activities and improving tdidactic methods and the image of the two schools."

Euroland has been a project related to Mathematics, Robotics and good practices. ContextOne of the partners was an expert in Manipulative Calculation (using Cuisenaire rods), another partner was an expert in Manipulative Geometry, and the third was an expert in Robotics. So we have shared manipulative workshops in which we are experts in and now we are implementing them in our schools (see the Annual Lesson Plans) Objectives The main objectives planned, we have mostly achieved at the end of the project, have been: 1.-Improve basic skills such as Mathematics, Literacy, ICT, foreign language, from sharing practices with European schools, exchanging and implementing new ideas, paying attention to those that were successful to implement them. 2.-Develop and implement innovative practices that promote cooperation, the exchange of experiences and knowledge at the European level. ActivitiesTo achieve the objective number one related to the students, we prepared 6 different challenges in which they had to think, manipulate and put into practice what they learned through peer learning and knowledge exchange within the 3 partners. We prepared activities to improve communicative skills in foreign language. We used ICT tools such as text editing applications (free Office), multimedia presentations (Padlet, Canva, Office Impress free), image and sound editing (Gimp, Audacity, Openshot, Paint) Google tools, Genially, to show the results of the activities to the rest of the partners . By using all these ICT tools they have improved their skills. To achieve goal number two related directly to teachers and indirectly to students, we agreed to implement the innovative practices that our partners shared and explained to us. As each school had already implemented a specific innovative methodology, we helped each other to carry them out successfully in our schools. To ensure that we implemented these practices, they have been written down in our annual lesson plans. Results StudentsRegarding the improvement of basic foreign language skills, we have achieved our goal. At the beginning of the project, 72.1% of our students had a medium-high level of English. At the end of the project we have achieved 85.4%. Regarding the improvement of basic Math skills, our starting point was 79.5% of students with a medium-high level of Math. The following year we improved to 84%. Unfortunately, the following year we had the Covid lockdown and the results at the end of the project were 78.7%. So the upward trend was great, but this particular promotion of students had a high percentage of special educational needs and social and economic difficulties. For that reason, during the lockdown, a large number of students were unable to follow the online lessons due to lack of equipment and connectivity. So this objective hasn't been achieved successfully. TeachersTeachers have improved their teaching methods thanks to the exchange of innovative practices. They improved, as well, their ICT skills due to the use of them to carry out all the activities. Proof of that is all the work done uploaded in Twinspace. SchoolWe have realized about the improvement of the school’s prestige. Thanks to the implementation of the new methodologies, families are more eager to ask for enrollment in our school. On the other hand, families and students have changed and opened their minds to different cultures and ways of life. We have realized about this fact because at the beginning of the project only a few of them were actively involved in it and in the second and third year most of them were. Long term benefitsAs most of the teachers involved in the project have a permanent position at the school, we can ensure that innovative practices will remain in the school's lesson plans for a long period of time. So the next generations will benefit from the actual project. One of the most important changes that the school has implemented thanks to the exchange of good practices has been the incorporation of a Robotics Workshop using decoding for 3rd Cycle students, one using Lego WeDo for 2nd Cycle and one using Bee Bots for 1st Cycle students. In addition we have created a Geometry Workshop from P3 to 6th Grade.

"A story of islands 3 Europeans territories: our differences, our common ties The road map of the regional education authority of Caen has set the cultural and international opening as work lead: it is about developing the ambition of every pupil by opening the school onto the cultures and heritages, in order to widen the pupils’ horizon. These international projects must be designed with the help of the digital tools of communication. Guillaume Fouace secondary school, which has been classified among priority educational networks since 2016, is located in the Cotentin peninsula, opposite Tatihou Island, in the town of Saint-Vaast-La-Hougue, which has been classified in the UNESCO world heritage. It commits itself to develop the international dimension by collaborating with two other European schools, one in Gela, in Sicily, and the other one in Santa Cruz de la Palma, in the Canary Islands. These three territories are similar by their insularity and by the richness of their heritage but are also different by their language and their traditions. By going to meet the other one, by discovering the other one’s culture and by making the other one discover the richness of their own territory, every pupil will be able to develop new skills as well as the feeling of belonging to Europe. For the development of the pupils’ ambition and opening on the world, the theme of the travel diary has been chosen. Thus, in partnership with a local artist, the participants will be able to depict their common ties and their differences, by creating works which will then be displayed during festivals, such as the book festival ""Encre et ancres"" in Saint-Vaast-La Hougue, in cooperation with the regional government, or the international festival of world music, ""les Traversées Tatihou."" These festivals will thus be vehicles for the communication of the participants’ works. The exchanges between the participants between meeting times will be operated thanks to the use of digital technology: Guillaume Fouace secondary school, at the forefront of digital technology, being equipped with a mobile class of tablets, will use them every day to communicate. The fact that all subjects are involved in the project contributes to its coherence for the pupils: thus, it is at the heart of the pupil’s everyday life that the project ""A story of islands"" will find its meaning.
